1. Long Road to Ruin Ch 26
Note: This fanfic is based off Neverwinter Nights community module entitled "A Dance
with Rogues" created Valin. I loved this story and felt compelled to write something that
compliments it. This story contains explicit content and graphic violence. All characters
except Shiloh, Bastian, Rhys, Nicca, Ni'as, Narev and Essex are the property of Valin.

" Tempt fate. "
Vico words reflected in her mind as Shiloh ate their breakfast in solitude. She still did not
wake Shanna. She figured girl needs some rest after her ordeal. Death and return to life
had to be tough on the body. Her own experience with Vico get rid of the influence of
Bastian was not very pleasant. Although lump thought to do it, Bastian was still part of it.
He did not want to let it go that easily. Not without a fight.
After finishing her meal of oatmeal, took a leisurely bath and dressed in a turquoise dress
she bought at Gaston's. It looked good on her. She liked how the bodice hugging her chest
and how tempting gathered skirt to the side and ran on foot. She coifed hair, nail polish
and apply a thin layer of cosmetics on her face. She was not sure why prettying themselves
all together. It is planned to Shanna Vico place. She knew that her sister would want to see
him. Although his reaction after the night before, she could not be sure that he wanted to
see, but it's a chance that he had to take.
When he went back into the bedroom, she smiled at Shanna, who was sitting on the bed,
rubbing his eyes sleepily. "Good morning, darling," Shiloh said to her. "There is something
for breakfast on the table and I can run you a bath if you want. Thought we could go
shopping this morning."
Shanna's brow furrowed slightly. He seemed strange to her that the princess was offered to
do these things for her. Normally she was the one working for the nobility. She could not
help but express their concerns. "It is very strange for me.'re A princess and I am a
servant., I should be running a bath and see to your needs, not vice versa."
"Things have changed. I'm not a princess, and you're not a servant anymore. Now we're
even. 'What's mine is yours. You are my sister. We are a family, all I have left. I intend to
take care of yourself and find a good man who will love you for the rest of his life. I just
want you to be happy. "
"But it will take me Vico. Told me once." Shanna said quietly.
"That asshole is not a good person., He and I do not get along. Maybe you saved my life,

remember. I do not think my ass will never be the same," frost drove Shiloh as she recalled
the much used and abused her. This caused pain to zing through their underworld. Rhys
had to visit soon.
"Maybe it's because of who you are. Vico hated his father and everything he stood for
nobility. Probably sees you as a useless little princess." Shanna said as she climbed out of
bed, favoring her back. "Ughh, your bed is too soft."
"My father your father as well. Are Precious Blood, and despite the fact that you were
raised as a servant."
"Even if I knew, even though my mother by me or Shira said it would do me no good. This
would buy me a damn thing. My mother would never talk about the man who brought us.
Never talked about affair with King Aurelia. I knew that one, though. Especially after I had
seen Vico. Should I go back to my room wearing a red woman well loved. I just never knew
that HE was my father. "
"I found that surprising because I heard rumors years. I think my mother knew, because
she had her own relationship. Remember the bard, Jaevirr?" Shiloh asked Shanna sat down
at the table and Shiloh served her breakfast.
"Oh yes, it was quite nice. Many maids and kitchen workers were in love with him, and he
did not disappoint. Bet that was responsible for many big bellies among whores., I knew a
few that have children that looked like him , "sneered Shanna. "I was only eleven at the
time, but I understood, however."
"I do not. My education came much later, as soon as I left the castle." Shiloh admitted.
"You eat, and I'll take care of your bath and clothes."
Shanna looked secretly sister. "Shiloh, can I ask you something honestly?"
"Of course. What would you like to know?" Shiloh had a feeling about what Shanna was
going to ask her and she was not sure how to tell her the truth.
"What else did you say?'m Not a stupid girl. Maybe I'm younger than you, but I can tell you,
when you leave certain things. Is there something I should know about you and my Vico?
Has had you?"

3. Shiloh's jaw dropped to the ground. The voices in her head she struggled wildly. Shouts
Tell her the truth mingled with Disable all . "If you must know, yes. The night he saved
me that I was raped. Tried to alleviate his guilt had told her he did it because he wanted
someone to pay for your death. Claimed that it was a mistake . should I hate him for it, but

After a visit to Gaston for a new dress for Shanna treatment and make-up at Carla's, Shiloh
and Shanna meant heading to the southern part of the city and destroyed the house where
Stan worked on the door, but were interrupted kindly faced man wearing a faded purple
dress. He rushed toward them enthusiastically. "M'ladies M'ladies! Moment, please!"
Shiloh frowned at him. "We do not have time right now, I'm sorry."
"Please, madam I have seen you both around and feeling that I was hit by lightning! Both
of you are perfect! Lovely angel! Please, please let me paint you both make your beauty
must be preserved for all time!"
Shiloh looked doubtfully at Shanna and then back to him. "Do you want us to paint?"
"Yes, Oh, I'm sorry. I was so impressed by your beauty and charm that I can not imagine
myself. My name is Mart.'m A painter. And I create an image of you! Both of you!"
"I really do not think it's a good idea, good sir. Now, if you step out of the way, we have to
take care of things," Shiloh staring like a muscle ticked in his jaw.
"Oh, Shiloh, we please? Sounds like a wonderful idea. Always wanted to be painted. And
I've got such a pretty new dress I could wear."
Mart cleared his throat. "Actually, I was thinking about a nude painting. Both have such
wonderful shapes ... If you're worried about your parents, you can turn your head away

4. when I paint you. This way you would be perfectly safe and no one would ever know it was
you who painted me. Please let me!'ll even pay! "
Shanna gave Shiloh a pleading look. "Can we, please? It would be awesome! Could I put
mine in Vico as a gift. He would surely love it."
Shiloh took a deep breath and let it sharply. Deep down she knew it was a bad idea. What if
someone saw the picture and recognized her? Yet Shanna seemed so excited, despite the
fact that he should be naked. She raised an eyebrow at his sister, because he knew that he
could not afford Shanna do it on your own. "If that's what you want, baby, then I think we
can. But well, sir, you do not pay us. Whores are not ordinary."
"Oh no, I would never mean that you are." Sheepish look crossed his face. "Very good. A
thank you very much! Come we go to my studio at the same time! There it is, the building
behind me!"
Shiloh and Shanna Mart followed in his studio. The frown on her face. It was more than a
dilapidated one room hut. She plastered a fake smile on his face when confused about what
she was getting into.
He noticed her fears and tried to inject a little levity. "Here we are! This is my studio.'s Not
very glamorous, true, but it's home. Now we have?"
"It's a very nice studio," said Shanna, not wanting to shame men.
He smiled at her. "Thank you, ma'am.'re So sweet, you are beautiful. Shall we begin? Let
me show you. Thought something like sleeping angel ... You're both together on the bed,
your clothes tangled on the floor in front of you.'ve Picked up the pillow and cuddle her.
Tam is a gentle, relaxed expression on your face, your eyes are closed. Candlelight for you,
you bathed in soft, glowing light, so you'll look like an angel from a star far, far away ... "
Shanna shot Shiloh pleading eyes and began to remove her clothes. "It will be fun to do
together. And we can still give it Vico. Maybe the better of you," she whispered quickly.
"We both know that it has plenty of bawdiness from women."
"Oh, what the hell," Shiloh relented and began to slide her clothes off. She took off her
clothes for less than. She smiled at Shanna, as agreed on a bench together. Shiloh hug for
Shanna, hands up over your head with Shanna snuggled up towards the center, covering
Shiloh in his crotch. They placed a pillow over Shanna is so bared their breasts. Her arms
were draped artfully over Shiloh skin.
"Beautiful, just beautiful, M'ladies! Now me a huge favor and try not to move for a while,"
Mart instructed as he raised his color palette. "Oh, it will be the best picture I've ever
done. Both are absolutely stunning. Were your body for being painted!"
A few hours passed before the painter was completed. At one point Shiloh was sure he was
asleep on a short nap.
"Oh, almost done now, my beauty.'ll Show you in a moment. Just a little pink here ....
Voila!" Radiant smile lights up the painter's face. "It's so beautiful. Come on. Look, what do

Mart turned around the image. Shiloh gasped in amazement. It was very good. Shows two
young girls looking for relaxation on a white fluffy cloud.
"Wow, this is so breathtaking, Shiloh. Did I look so beautiful. Vico will be glad when he
sees it. Course, once you do see it, you will need to have your way with me. He will not be
able to resist," bubbled Shanna. "We can hold the picture, good sir?"
"Only if you let me paint a second ....." started to answer, then stopped when a group of
policemen came Dhorn the Captain. "What does that mean? Can not just barge into my
studio!"
"Oh, yes, we can." Grey haired captain snapped. "I hereby accuse you of unlawful sexual
knowledge, prostitution and the creation of sinful material., You and your two whores will
be arrested at once!"
"Please hold while the officer. Really must protest. Please let me assure you that it does
not need such drastic action. I'm an artist, a painter, you see. I just create an artwork that
I intended to pass Dhorn governor as a token of my recognition. come to see.'s not the best
picture you've ever seen? Did you think that the governor will be very pleased to look at it?
"
The captain grinned, "Hardly. Governor is a man of faith. ... I do not need this filth."
Mart tinted a little more, "Of course I believe. My only intention was to create a work of
art. I do not know these two fine young ladies. Just a few days ago, I met them on the
street, and when I offered money, they refused.'s Just work of art. "
"You call this art?" He scoffed at the Mart.
"Oh, good officer, you have to look at it from the perspective in which it is presented. Look
at how well the light is reflected from the face. Could almost touch their faces ..." He
smiled nervously.
Dhorn captain grinned at him. "I see how it is presented as sinful obscenity. I just see
boobs, but okay.'ll Miss you and your whores. Time. Consider yourself warned, however.
Next time you go to jail. A we" you take the picture with us so it will be stored in a safe
place away from the public eye. Do not let us catch in a similar situation again. "
He motioned to one of his subordinates, who chose the picture stand out as that headed for
the door. Shiloh grabbed his clothes and tore them visible on her face a mask of fury.
When Martha saw her expression, she backed away from her, apologizing profusely. "You
must forgive me, my lady. Never thought I would barge right in my house. It was so close. I
am very sorry."
"Damn them to hell ..." she growled, still pulling at her clothes.
"I bet that they can make an office building in the western part of the city."

6. "And how do you know that? Shanna, get dressed," Shiloh sharply ordered her sister, who
sat dumb-struck on the bench.
"I thought it was common knowledge that store everything you entertain in this building.
Once issued summons me for another one of my paintings ..." He smiled weakly and dug
into his pockets.
"That happened to you before?!?"
"Oh yes. Here is the money. This is all I have ..."
"No, thank you. We are not prostitutes, no matter what Dhorn think of us." Shiloh snapped,
batting his hand away. "Do you realize that you could get me killed? Or both of us?"
All the colors ran Mart faces. "I'm so sorry, M'ladies. Pray that it does not come to that.
Another girl I painted the patient suffered any loss of Dhorn. Pray you alone."
Shiloh pulled shoes and poked Shanna. "Let's go.'ll Take you to Vic and I do not want to
hear another word about it. He will protect you and keep you safe, I hope."
Shanna said. "He will be."
Shiloh led the way into the southern part of the ruined house. She opened the trap door in
the floor and motioned Shanna climb down the ladder. She followed her sister and drove
her to a bridge board. Shiloh smiled at Kasha and Gina sweetly as she passed them.
Then a relatively tall man stepped in the way he approached the gate. "State your
business," he said.
"Fuck you!" Shiloh snapped. "Get out of my way, peasant.'m Heading up to see Alfons."
The man laughed and winked at her. "Spoken like a true princess."
Shiloh studied it thoroughly. His height was intimidating, as was his broad muscular chest.
His light brown hair hung down her back and eye patch covers one eye, but what we really
know it was his voice. "Rhys?"
A wide smile crossed his handsome features. "No one else, but you'll have to call Marak
now.'s Not my full-time post. Nathan says I'm too valuable to be on guard. I am filling the
night."
"Wow, he told me that I do not know, and I do not, honestly. This is amazing," she smiled.
"So who's with you, and if you're really going?"
"This is Shanna, my half-sister and I take her to see Vico. Wondering if it's at home?"
"I am pleased Shanna and yes, as far as I know it is. Did not see him leave. Know that it
was in a bad mood."
"I have no doubt about that. He tends to get all broody after he and I got into a fight."

7. Shiloh smiled, "Hey, I need to talk to you ... in private."
"Just say when, sweetness, and I'll be glad to oblige you," he winked at her and flashed a
brilliant smile at her.
Shiloh bowed her head and walked passed him to the gate. She opened it and went to the
torch sconce on the wall. He reached behind him, grabbed and pulled the lever, but the
panel will not open. Hmmm, must be locked . She knocked loudly and waited for a few
seconds before knocking again. When no reply was forthcoming, she turned to Shanna.
"Stay here.'ll Be right back."
Shiloh dashed up the stairs and into the guild house. She flew through it and found a Vico
sitting at the table playing dice with Kenny, Dara, and Pett. She leaned toward him and
whispered in his ear. "There's someone waiting downstairs who waited long to see you
again. Would it be rude to let her wait any longer."
He turned to her and looked at her badly. "I did not ask for. Should've left well enough
alone, birdie."
"Get your ass and get down now, Vico. Or I will be forced to drag the carcass with her?"
Her eyes glowed red again.
Vico growled as he threw the dice and grabbed her, pulled her face down across his lap.
"Have not you learned your lesson, birdie or do you need one?"
"Okay, let me go and I'll tell her that big, bad Vico does not want her anymore. Hopes I will
destroy girls whose only wish is to reconnect with you." Shiloh tried on his lap and kicked a
chair before running out the door. She ran down the stairs. "Come on, sister. Vico Your
dear is to be a stubborn idiot and will not budge an inch."
Tears welled in her eyes as Shanna Shiloh words fully registered. "He's not .... I want ... me
.... already?" she whispered brokenly before laid her head on his shoulder Shiloh and began
to sob.
"Rhys!?" Shiloh called and watched as the big man came to her. "Take care of her.'m Going
to kick his ass."
Shanna She walked into the arms of Rhys and headed up the stairs, intent on initiating
another fight with her former lover and the man who Shanna wanted to see it again. It is
charged at him, making his leg to kick him in the back of the head.
Vico jerked violently as her leg join and leave the hiss of pain as the stars exploded before
his eyes. He abruptly from his chair as Shiloh feet found purchase on the floor again, his
eyes narrowed dangerously, when he saw who committed the attack. Shiloh pulled out the
sword, and quickly lunged at him. She went straight for the throat.
