There are many different local promotion groups,
The YPN – ‘The Young Promoters Network consists of
young people, residing in Rhondda Cynon Taff, aged between 14-
25, eager to help arrange live shows and promote young emerging
Exile Music- Exile music is my own project working at promoting local
musicians via reviews on gigs, EPs, tracks and venues. While it is still a
work in progress I am still working very hard on it.
These days I feel that the best way to
share work with a wider audience is
through Facebook and Twitter.
On these sites, it is easy for people to share
things quickly to their friends and this
widens the reach an artist has.
Viral and organic reach.
On a Facebook pages’ post, it will show
the admin how many people have seen it.
It will also tell you how many people that
Organic reach: The number of people
who saw a post in a news feed or on your
Viral reach: The number of people who
saw the post from someone else liking,
commenting or sharing the post and
seeing it from others actions.
