2. Major Project (M.Tech):-
CFD simulation of Diesel Engine Cylinder Head to improve Coolant Velocity and
reduce Pressure drop using Star CCM+.
Details: Complex design of cylinder head leads to narrow passages in water jacket.
This in turn results in pressure drop and low velocity regions in water jacket. Aim of
the project is to come up with design solutions to address above problems and to achieve
even flow distribution in each cylinder head with an improvement of 20-25% in
pressure drop and Coolant velocity.
