Middle Tier and Edge Server
• Distribution Server
• Typically requires per-event configuration
• Receives streams from upstream origin servers and redistributes them to other

Cache/Proxy Server
• Typically requires one-time configuration
• Proxies initial downstream requests to upstream servers
• Splits live streams for downstream servers and end users
