The breasts are swelled and stomach expanded as almost to show that women were pregnant for the majority of there lives. The hands of the woman are behind her to almost show the insignificance of the woman as a male dominated society Also no description or detail on her face.

3. Anthropomorphic Fig.(Paleolithic) 20th-18th millennium BC Fired clay H 10.2 cm Maininsk settlement, Siberia This general human figure to me seems almost like a child toy. I feel that it could have been used for entertainment in a young child’s imagination. Could also be a persons way of showing the rough portrait of the human figure. As documentation purposes.

4. Bird Fig.(Paleolithic) 22th-21th millennium BC Mammoth ivory H 10.03 cm Malta settlement A goose like or swan figure. This feels like to me that it was taken from a bird in natural habitat, due to its elongated neck, taken from a bird in flight or sailing on the water. There seems to be a hole on the “handle” on the back of the creature. Could've been used as a tool of some sort.

5. Female Fig.(Paleolithic) 22th-21th millennium BC Mammoth ivory H 4.2 cm Malta settlement, Siberia The woman in this figure seems to be really rugged and seems defiantly used for a tool. The point at the top of the figure could've been used for digging or grinding of some sort. This seems to be of a woman that is dressed in some sort of clothing from the time. Maybe in a pose due to the hands crossed in front.

6. Head of Female Elk(Neolithic) 3rd millennium BC Shigir peat bog, Sverdlovsk Region, the Urals Elk horn L 19.5 cm Very well defined as a representable as an elk. The long snout seems like it could be the handle to maybe a tool or a handle to a longer staff that would be connected at the neck. The neck seems like it would be the part that would be used for the machinery duty since the head is well carved.

7. Idol(Neolithic) Usvyaty IV Settlement, Pskov Region Second half of the 2nd millennium BC Elk horn H 9.3 cm A male nude figure that seems to have been polished at its time and when it was created probably looked beautiful. Over time looks like it has decayed or broken. The human form starts to come to shape. The human figure is not one rectangle. The arms are disconnected from the waist and humanistic details start to show in the face of the figure.
