the techniques and tricks of successful jobhunting and addresses various international
student’s conferences on career topics.. He is the Honorary Professor of Human Resources
and Career Management at the Pécs University of Sciences. He published a great number of
studies, articles and textbooks on HR management as well.
In his uniquely up-to-date, absolutely practical and remarkably comprehensive handbook
“How to build a career? – Encyclopaedia of job searching” the well-reputed international
executive search consultant and Central-Eastern-European career expert shares with his readers
his more than a decade international experience in East Europe in the field of
“headhunting” and career-consulting: since 1989 Mr. Pintér “placed” every year 25-40 top- or
2
senior executives and managers at the most famous “blue-chip” East-European and
multinational companies.
His jobhunting handbook is based on his headhunting and career-consulting experience and
on the hundreds of cases, questions, practical problems of Central-Eastern-European
readers, listeners and viewers, people facing the challanges of economies in transition.
Accordingly this absolutely practical handbook reflects to the maximum extent the East-
European reality (countries rapidly transiting from centralised systems to market economy) and
the very special conditions of the Central-Eastern-European job-seekers.
