Know Where To Go
Revolutionising the way parents share and find products, activities,
discounts and services for their children, saving them time and money
Parents are frustrated that even though technology has
advanced to provide them with many great tools, apps
and services right to their fingertips. They still need to
shop around to PULL PULL PULL to get all the information,
products, discounts, recommendations and services that
they need for their children. In fact millions of parents,
particularly mums, are turning to social media forums to
ask where to go and what to do with their kids, for want of
a better solution.
Parents are one of the most marketed-to demographics
and yet advertising in this industry is technologically
lacking. In the UK, for example, there are limited avenues
for mobile advertising directly to parents, with SMEs still
spending more than 60% of their budgets on untrackable,
untargeted print/TV advertising, despite the fact that
there are “18M mums in the UK and 87% of them have
smart-phones and want to recieve relevant offers direct
to their phones.”
Torevolutionisethewayparentsusetheirmobilephonessothatalltheinformation,products,services,recommendations
and discounts are delivered right to their fingertips, in one easily navigable app platform. To negate the need for them
to have dozens of apps on their phones, to know where to look for discounts, or to shop around for the best bargains.
KiddyUP will PUSH that information to them with a constantly updated live feed of what’s on around them, what’s on
sale or discounted and content relevant to the daily needs of their children - all filtered, in real-time, and targeted to
their specific habits, wants and needs. The future of parenting will be to just “kiddyUP it”.

Using our easy-to-use Vendor Portal any business will be able to set up an account, run a
campaign, analyse the results and ultimately benefit from the ability to use geo-targeted
communication direct to their intended demographic. Using this model we will be able to
sell to hundreds of thousands of businesses.
Why we are better than what is currently on the market?
Take as one example Mumsnet in the UK, the second largest online forum, blog and news
site for mums, with over 7.8 million unique visitors a month and 41,000 chat threads
started in their forums every day. If a small or medium-sized business wants to use their
platform to advertise to potential customers, Mumsnet will send them a PDF of all the
display classified adverts, skins, advertorials that can be “displayed” on their website (not
necessarily geo-targeted to a specific demographic) starting at around £50 a month. Our
model offers better targeting, scalabilty and tracking, so results can be properly measured
and analysed.
Business MODEL
Go To MARKET
KiddyUP is available world-wide but launched with an initial focus on the UK market. We plan to embed ourselves
into local markets by identifying products, services and government agencies we can partner with and create mobile
optimised tools that will provide parents with smarter ways to manage their day-to-day activities, such as appointment
booking and reminders. We are doing this three ways:
Collaborations
To embed servivces that parents use
and need every day into our app as
a way to provide added value, gain
competitive advantage and access
millions of parents/users. Such as
our: Mumsnet widget, Tots About
Magazine integration, NHS Health
Visitor information.
... and more on the way
Local/Communities
Five parent-led Champion
communities launched with amazing
results. Social media following in
these groups exceeds 5,000 very
active members. Local businesses
are starting to offer exclusive deals
and discounts for engaging potential
customers.
... new community opportunities
Rewards:
Users will be rewarded for their
contribution to KiddyUP by earning
KiddyPOINTS that they can exchange
for exclusive vouchers, trials and
deals on our KiddyKIOSK. The KIOSK
is a way for us to begin engaging with
our future paying customers and
converting them into active vendors.
... hundreds businesses signed
The COMPETITION
In the UK Mi Local for Mums and Bubele are very focused on local events for children around London. WOWmum, with
20K users, have asked if we would like to purchase their users/data. While in the US, Mommynearest have grown from
8K users to over 150K users within 8 months, and have now expanded into 4 regions in the US. We plan to conquer
the UK first and spread very quickly into the rest of Europe, and out-model our competition with a much larger content
reach (including FEED, CHANGE, PLAY, BUY and eventually SELL), our collaborations and technology. While Foursquare,
Yelp, Google Maps and now also WAZE also offer location mapping for businesses, none of them are filtering and
targeting specific demographics in a way that provides a real solution for both the businesses and parents.
Proven Traction/Momentum:
12K iOS Downloads, 3K Android Downloads, 4K Mumsnet Widget, 6K Facebook Communities, 40K Listed
Businesses, 25% MAU
Competitive Differentiation:
Amazing Team: Proven track record, and inside industry knowledge with ability to identify gaps in the market and quickly
fill them by creating the tools and technologies that are needed, and then executing them very quickly.
Huge market potential: Our initial target market is small to medium-sized businesses selling products or services for
children or parents in United Kingdom. There are 10M potential businesses per year and the baby product sector alone
has a market value of £750M per year.
