Intended audience:
This is a type of Chinese home-style soup with simple procedures and
ingredients but long time to cook, suitable for anyone interested in cooking
and with leisure time to spare. It is nutritious for kids.
Prerequisites: Learners know how to
Use a stove or any alternative cooking appliance
Cut corns and carrots into chunks
Boil water
Get the raw materials and ingredients from supermarkets
Goals:
Objective: The learners will be able to make a pot of soup using the
materials and ingredients needed following the procedures.
Givens: Pork ribs, corn, carrot, ginger, cooking wine, salt, vinegar, a pot,
stove, water
Type of task: To cook a soup
Transfer of context: Whenever people need to cook a meal
Assessment: Product test---make the soup are instructed
Motivation:
The learner will imagine cooking the soup for friends and families. The
compliment from the eaters are the outer motivation for the learners. And the
sense of achievement of getting something done is the inner motivation.
Performance gap:
The instruction will teach the learners a new dish.
