You applied for ATAS clearance on 15/06/2016 to study PhD Testing Multi-Agent Systems (I1)
at University of York.
You stated that your thesis, area of research, or the modules of your taught Masters
course would be:
"There is increasing interest in the use of multi-agent systems in practical roles,
including some safety-critical roles such as unmanned vehicle control. For such roles
adequate testing will be essential. There is some prior work on multi-agent software
testing, but it has not been extensively evaluated in realistic contexts. This PhD project
will evaluate the effectiveness of a range of multi-agent testing approaches, and develop
the most promising ones towards safety critical use. As part of this, the work will
involve developing mutation coverage approaches for BDI systems so that different methods
for automated test generation can be compared."
