Project Objective:
To provide a tool that will be used in
executing supply chain transactions,
managing supplier relationships,
controlling associated business
processes and generate reports that will
be used to forecast future demand for
products
Project Overview:
Supply Chain Forecasting system will allow
users from a supply chain background to view
and analyse historical sales data and use this
data to generate future forecasts for sales for
an individual item.
User will be facilitated by the following
functions:
• Order/Demand processing
• Customer Management
• Inventory Management
• Goods and Warehouse management
• Reports
• Manage Users

• An item can be any product in which he deals and want to
maintain its data.
• A user can perform following operations on this Entity:
• Add Item Record

Customer:
• Customer is one purchasing products and his all data
will be maintained.
• The user of the system will be able to perform
following operations on this Entity:
• Add Customer Record
• Delete Customer Record
• Update Customer Record
• Search Customer Record
• View/List All Customer Records
Company:
• All the products will belong to specific company for
example pepsi.co, nestle, coca cola etc.
• The user of the system will be able to perform
following operations on this Entity:
• Add New Company Record
• Delete Existing Company Record
• Update Company Record
• Search Specific Company Record
• View/List All Companies
Order/Demand:
• All customer orders will be maintain through this
Entity.
• The user of the system will be able to perform

Warehouse:
• All items will belong to specific warehouse so our web
application will allow user to maintain warehouse
records so that he will be known that items are
delivered from which warehouse.
• The user of the system will be able to perform
following operations on this Entity:
• Add New Warehouse
• Update Warehouse Record
• Delete Order Record
• View/List all Warehouse Records
• Search any specific Warehouse Record
User:
• Application will maintain records about user/admin so
that it can be used to know which added any record
and which updated any record.
• Application will allow following operations to be
operated on this Entity:
• Add New User
• Update Existing User Record
• Delete Existing User Record
• View/List all User Records
• Search any specific User Record
Report:
• User will be able to generate reports about sales,
orders to know about future demand for products.
