• We chose this topic because we are very interested in
cultures. We chose South Africa because seemed the most
interesting country because it was involved in the apartheid

Africa, by the most southern
point.

Namibia and Mozanbique
• South Africa has nine
provinces.
• Capital: Pretoria

• English domination of the
Dutch descendent ( Afrikaners)
discovered diamonds in this
land so around 1900 there was
an English invasion (Bar War).
• In 1951 the Bantu authorities
Act established a basic for
ethnic government in African
reserved known as homelands.
This homelands were
independent states.

to 15, primary school is grade 0 to 6 and high school
grades 7 to 12. There are both public and private
schools. The government spends about 20% of mone on
education.
• By 2015, 1.4 million students in higher education have
benefited from a financial aid scheme which was
promulgated in 1999.

ever visited.

13. Cape Winelands Kimberly Big Hole
The fertile valleys of the Cape Winelands are
surrounded by majestic mountains, sleepy villages,
brilliant monuments, fruitful orchards and some of
the lushest scenery in South Africa.
The Kimberly Big Hole is an underground dead
diamond mine in South Africa, and claimed to be
the largest hole excavated by hand
14. Robben Island Hasim Amla & AB Devilliers
The island’s most famous prisoner, Nelson Mandela, has
turned this institute of brutality into a symbol of the triumph
of the human spirit over enormous hardship.
