1) Clinical Fellowship in Minimal Access, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery at Max
superspeciality Hospital in New Delhi from October to December 2010 under Dr.Pradeep
Chowbey, an eminent and accomplished minimal access surgeon of national and international
repute.
The Department of Minimal Access, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery at Max superspeciality
Hospital headed by Dr.Pradeep Chowbey, is a high volume centre of excellence for basic as well
as advanced laparoscopic surgeries.
2) MS ( General Surgery) – Passed in September 2004 from JSS Medical College, Mysore,
Karnataka under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
JSS Medical College is Government recognized college and has a teaching hospital of its own
with a bed strength of over 700 beds. Besides the government hospital, JSS medical college
hospital is the only tertiary level hospital in Mysore city and it caters to patients from about 8 to 10
surrounding villages and towns. Patient inflow is on par with the government hospital and one gets
to see and treat a variety of cases with complications. All professors are eminent surgeons and
excellent teachers
3) MBBS – Passed in December 1994 from Deccan College of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad
under University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh.
Deccan College of Medical sciences is a Government recognized college and one of the first
colleges with private management to be established in Andhra Pradesh. It has a teaching hospital
of its own and various other teaching hospitals attached to it with an overall strength of more than
1000 beds. Some of students admitted each year belong to the merit quota allotted by the
government based on scores obtained in qualifying examination and I was one of them. All the
teachers are Government retired professors with a vast teaching experience

2. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :
1) Working as Specialist General Surgeon in Lifecare Hospital,Baniyas,Abu Dhabi since 3rd
November 2014.
Lifecare Hospital is a JCI accredited 30 bedded hospital situated in Baniyas, Abu Dhabi.
It caters to a very large population of expatriate labor camps and patients with a variety of
general surgical problems are treated here. Open and laparoscopic surgeries are performed
on a daily basis in moderate numbers.
2) Worked as a General and Laparoscopic Surgeon(Part time) in The Crescent Hospital,
Hyderabad from October 2004 till October 2014.
The Crescent Hospital is a 100 bedded private hospital which has all the basic specialities.
It was established in 1985 and is well known among the patients of surrounding areas.
There is fairly good inflow of general surgical patients and all common surgical procedures
are performed on a regular basis. Basic Laparoscopic surgeries like Appendicectomy,
Cholecystectomy, Closure of Perforated peptic Ulcer, Diagnostic laparoscopy, tubal
ligation, ovarian cystectomy, hysterectomy etc are performed.
3) Worked as Assistant Professor of Surgery in MNR Medical College,Sangareddy,Andhra
Pradesh from November 2010 till October 2014.
MNR Medical College is one of the finest medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh in terms of
education and training for budding doctors. It has a 500 bed multi-specialty hospital
attached to it which caters to a huge population in the surrounding areas.
