1. What Would I Do If I Were Given The Opportunity As A Covid-19 Front liner?

This year is the most challenging for us as we had to grapple with the worst
pandemic in 100 years. Each day brings sobering news of tragedy and heartache.
Doctors worldwide have to sacrifice themselves to treat patients. However, not only the
doctors but also the police, armed forces, and other relevant authorities had to work
tirelessly to make sure the public is safe. Not everyone is given the chance to serve the
country and the community as front-liners. But what if I were given the chance to be one
of them? What would I be?
If I were given the opportunity to be one of the front-liners then I will choose to
be the doctor and work hard every day even though I will be exposed to the virus that was
brought by Covid 19 patients. I respect doctors since they sacrifice their time and freedom.
As the virus are getting worse day by day, doctors mostly spend their time at the hospital,
they even lose their time to rest but they didn’t give up. Instead, they’re still standing to
save us.
The first thing I will do as a doctor during this pandemic is to treat the Covid 19
patients with care until they are fully recovered and healthy. It will be the most endearing
moment to see my patient got healthy again. We can also reduce the amount of death
caused by the viruses if we got to cure a lot of Covid 19 patients. Unlike another country
like Italy and America, we’re still in a stage that the pandemic is still able to be controlled.
Moreover, I will give the best service that I could to all the patient so they’re comfortable
staying at the hospital. Being a doctor also allows me to know any of my family members
who have the symptoms and risks of getting infected by Covid 19.
Apart from that, being a doctor is not only dealing with sick people but also had
to deal with their family. The problem of being a doctor is when you have to deal with rude
and short-tempered family members. Even though I am not a doctor myself, it annoys me
when I see an article about someone being rude to a doctor. It hurts my feelings when I
know what they have gone through to save the lives of others. On top of that, they are still
being patient and take all the bad words given to them.
In conclusion, everyone needs to work hard and follow all the instructions given
by the authorities. It is for our benefits. The more we obey the instructions, the fewer
people will get infected. It’s not hard to do that, just stay at home and do not gather in
crowds. We need to help the front-liner by lightening their burden. I hope the pandemic
will end as soon as possible and we will be free like we used to be.
