Project Involvement
At present, as a Project Manager I involve in the management of administrative issues and all
subcontracted task of the O&M GIS Development project. Develop detailed work plan and
schedules, monitoring, supervision, and implementation of all project activities in accordance
with the established policies and procedure of the project.
I also involve to carry out analysis, design, development and maintain GIS at Jeddah
Municipality (Operation and Maintenance Department) for Road Network, Storm Network,
Storm Drainage Network, Lighting Network, Facilities Objects and Pavement Management
System. We used software application like MS SQLServer 2000, Geomedia ver 4.0 and Visual
basic 6.0 for development.
Participated to perform a very highly technical work with Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF). The
nature of the project is updating military facilities in King Fahed Air Base (KFdAB), and other
major Air Bases in the Kingdom. Provide As-built facilities through Computer Software and
Maintenance Management System (MMS).
The scope of my current work is information systems for all the base’s which make complete
architectural details for all facilities including the creating of the computer’s Technical
Databases plus reporting in detail about the condition of facilities through “short & long” term
master plan plus Presentation and Animation for each stage of the project by using [AutoCAD
13 C4; Archibus 6.1 for Link w/Dbase; 3Dstudio 4.0 w/IPAS; Animator Pro.; Corel Draw!
5.0; Painter 3.0; Photo Shop 3.0 and Photo Styler programs] .We also using some of support
program MS-Access for maintain the dbase; MS PowerPoint; MS-Excel 97 & MS-Word 97 for
reporting.
FIS (FMS, MMS & GIS) is supporting systems to get complete information & details about
facilities. And GIS give complete information for utilities outside the facilities and FMS give
complete information and details inside the facilities including (Floors, Rooms, Walls, Doors,
Windows, Elevations and Roofs). MAXIMO Project Software is supporting for Maintenance
of Equipments.
The MAXIMO is a computerized system that allows systematic planning, control and recording
of the maintenance related activities on the Base. The system will provide a means for the
operation and maintenance teams to function more efficiently and make readily available all
equipment data.
The primary advantages of the MAXIMO are:
•Improve maintenance activities in the form of scheduling cost and resource control.
• Improve maintenance staff effectiveness through the adoption of standard maintenance
procedures.
•A means for informed maintenance management decisions.
•Inventory control.
•A resultant improvement in equipment performance, downtime and asset life.
•Provide historical equipment data.
We work under Network (Novell 4.0, Windows NT server 4.0). I am the one who makes all
maintenance and administration on ORACLE database such as :

• Install and upgrade Oracle software
• Administer the Database and manage the related services and software.
• Allocate Systems storage and plan for future database storage requirements.
• Create New environment and database including application objects.
• Create database Users and maintain system security.
• Ensure database availability and performance according to the defined levels.
• Plan and maintain the database backup and recovery.
• Monitor the Database performance, indentify the bottlenecks and perform database tuning
procedures.
• Provide consultation to other team members in order to solve critical problem.
• Provide consultation for application and SQL statement tunning issues.
• Able to work under pressure and able to take critical decision when needed.
Presently we are working under Network Windows 2000. I am responisble for Maintenance
and Administration on Microsoft SQL SERVER.
