1. Course description
Responding to childrens health needs is an integral part of the early childhood educators everyday
responsibilities. To ensure these needs are met, students will explore the interrelatedness of health,
safety and nutrition, and examine strategies, policies and procedures that will enhance the well-being
of young children and promote lifelong health habits.
