3. At Lukla we compare finding content with climbing a
mountain. To summit you need a project plan, a route and
once you start climbing you need anchors. We wanted a
company name that allows us tell a good story, and explain
how we do things…differently. So we came up with Lukla.
Lukla is the last town & gateway to Mount Everest. So don’t
be surprised by our mountaineering lingo!
At Lukla we refer to content-metatags as Anchors ™.
Anchors™ give a piece of content a number of unique
identifiers which allows you to find your content…lightning
fast and always!
In order to find a piece of content you require a minimum
number of Anchors™ and just like summiting a mountain
there are different routes to finding content. The Anchors
also allow us to think entirely different about content
organization and storing and abandon the idea of folders.

Ryan is a highly successful
entrepreneur and respected
business leader. He optimized
the paperless approach to
engineering and construction
information management by
using two decades of experience
in the international project
management industry to develop
innovative and cutting-edge IT
projects. He has a Bachelor’s
Degree in Business
Administration, majoring in
Project Management, and serves
on several volunteer boards.
Yoeri has more than 20 years’
experience in the international
field of marketing, finance, and
strategy. His career in
investment banking and
marketing has taken him to
Europe, Asia and North America.
More recently, Yoeri spearheaded
Nielsen’s Sports division drive to
become a trusted partner to
brands and rights holders in
Canada. Yoeri is recognized for
his creative and strategic
thinking, combined with strong
analytical skills. Yoeri holds a
Masters in Finance from the
University of Brussels, Belgium.
Sean is a senior consultant with
more than 15 years’ experience in
Information Management. He has
worked with several high-profile
public and private sector clients and
has a thorough understanding of the
way in which information
management can be used to help
overcome complex business and
technical issues. Sean has a Bachelor
of Arts from the University of
Calgary, a PMP from the Project
Management Institute, a PROSCI
