About me:
My name is Yannick Koffi.I was born October24,1995in Abidjan,
Ivory Coast. I grew up playing in the streets of Abidjan starting at
about 3-4 years old. We would play from the morning till dark and
sometimeseven forgetto eat. I would sometimeseven skip schoolto
go and play because playing soccerwas the only thing on my mind. I
didn't have the easiestof a childhood so soccerwas basically my
escape from everything. Life in the Ivory Coast is not an easy one but
at the same time it helped form me into the personI am today. A lot
of people try to get between my soccerand me since a young age but

2. it's an impossible task. I would get a whooping almost every time I
went out to play but that never stopped me.I moved here to Dallas in
2008 and played here since. I started out playing for tenants FC that
didn't last very long until being scouted by Kevin Smith to go out and
play with Solar SC who were the top dogs at the time. After 2 years at
solar, I was contacted by JosemaBazan to come and play for the FC
Dallas U16 team. I accepted to make the move and went on to play
there for 4 years until moving to college.I trained with the first team a
few times and also got to play a few reserve games. I went on and
played two years of NJCAA and now I'm looking to make it
professional because I know I'm talented enough and that I have the
work ethic to get there. I'm willing to do anything to make this dream
come true so I could be able to help my family. I just really need a
chance to show who I am and I’m sure a lot of people will be
impressed.
