National University of Singapore Chapter
&
Yale-NUS Chapter
Executive
Summary
— * —
GCC China Summit was initiated by Global China Connection
– National University of Singapore Chapter (GCC-NUS) and
Global China Connection – Yale-NUS Chapter, to establish a
platform for Singapore’s tertiary school students and young
entrepreneurs to gain a holistic understanding of the emerging
China market, as well as its existing and potential
opportunities and challenges. Historically, two annual Global
GCC Summits were held in the U.S. and China every year,
and top universities such as University of Pennsylvania
Wharton Business School and New York University had once
hosted the event.
This summit serves as a platform for interested companies
and students to interact. Attendees of the event will have the
opportunity to engage in 3 to 4 penal discussions with industry
professionals on a diverse range of topics, followed by a
Career Fair hosted by prominent companies in order to better
understand the economic and cultural landscape of China.
Meanwhile, companies and partners will gain access to our
wide pool of talent, extensive alumni, local and overseas
network as well as marketing exposure in all our publicity
channels. Supported by NUS Business School China Business
Centre and other partners, we are certain that NUS China
Summit will bring our partners and sponsors closer to young
college students through reinforcement of the common
interests in China.

Global China Connection – National University of Singapore Chapter (GCC-NUS)
Founded in 2008, Global China Connection (GCC) has become the world’s largest
China-focused professional youth network, with chapters at more than sixty universities
across North America, Europe, and Asia, including those at world-renowned universities
such as Harvard, Yale, and UPenn, as well as metropolises like Beijing and Shanghai. As
a student-run organization, GCC is determined to establish and maintain long-lasting
personal relationships between young leaders from China and the rest of the world.
Global China Connection – National University of Singapore Chapter (GCC-NUS)
was founded in 2015. As a non-profit student organisation for NUS students of all
nationalities looking to engage in China’s emergence as a global power. We aim to bridge
the gap between young leaders from China and those from the rest of the world. GCC also
provides networking opportunities for academic and industrial experts to directly interact
with the talented pool of NUS students.
Global China Connection - Yale-NUS Chapter
Similar to GCC-NUS, Yale-NUS GCC is committed to connecting Yale-NUS, as well as the
wider NUS community, on China-related fields. With clear alignment of interests and goals,
Yale-NUS GCC and GCC-NUS can collaborate to co-organize the summit.
1.2 Event Name
GCC China Summit
GCC China Summit has been a reputable event successfully held in many occasions.
Historically, two annual Global GCC Summits were held in the U.S. and China every year.
Now many GCC chapters at top universities also autonomously organise their own GCC
China Summits. In the first half of 2016, 2 GCC China Summits have been held at
University of Pennsylvania Walton Business School and New York University separately.
Looking forward, NUS-GCC and Yale-NUS GCC will be bringing the GCC China Summit
to Singapore for the first time.

Talent
With our unique focus on China, GCC-NUS can effectively reach out to each local
university’s over 2,000 Chinese students, and to even more students from other
nationalities who also have an interest in the opportunities in and related to China. Many of
them will soon graduate from university and start their own career path. By collaborating
with NUS China Summit, companies can reduce their recruitment costs and minimize their
efforts.
Marketing
GCC-NUS will adopt an all-around marketing approach to reach out to the larger society.
We will continue our active presence on social media platforms, and deploy advertising
material on both traditional and digital media. Company's promotional booth can be set up
directly outside our event venue and company’s logo will be included in all publicity
materials to ensure exposure. Several media partners will be engaged to provide detailed
coverage of NUS China Summit to introduce our accomplishments to the whole society.
Our partners and sponsors can be assured that their contribution to the event will be made
known to a much larger, yet similarly focused audience group.

Marketing GCC-NUS will adopt an all-around marketing approach to reach out to the larger society. We will continue our active presence on social media platforms, and deploy advertising material on both traditional and digital media. Company's promotional booth can be set up directly outside our event venue and company’s logo will be included in all publicity materials to ensure exposure. Several media partners will be engaged to provide detailed coverage of NUS China Summit to introduce our accomplishments to the whole society. Our partners and sponsors can be assured that their contribution to the event will be made known to a much larger, yet similarly focused audience group. 04 Contacts01 Introduction 02 Event Details 03 Partnership
