School Choir Monologue
At first, the lure of the school choir for me was the intricacy of the harmonious blend of all its parts. The unimaginable high keys of the soprano girls
coupled with the subtle harmony of the altos and the bold hum of the tenors reinforced by the rich rumble of the bass boys left me awestruck every
Sunday mass. The choir seemed to be able to render every song it sang with effortless dexterity and passion; they were truly a sight to behold.
I joined my school's choir in the tenth grade. I can't even begin to describe the severity of the raging butterflies in my stomach on the day of my
audition. Standing in front of the whole choir, I began to belt out the first verse of How Great Thou Art as they watched intently. After the first few

Kindness Definition Essay
Kindness. Kindness is like the season Autumn. It carries the golden, red, orange, and yellow leaves from one tree to the next, gathering more and
more leaves until a whole assortment of leaves is blowing in the breeze. Just like Autumn, Kindness spreads as it is passed on from person to person.
Kindness brings joy, happiness, and friendship as it flows from one act to the next like a river splitting into several directions. Kindness brings people
together, like the thousands leaves blowing and bunching onto someone's just–raked lawn.
Kindness can be demonstrated in a number of forms. At school, in home, around neighborhoods, during after school activities, and anywhere else you
can imagine. An act of KIndness does not have to change the world,

Popular Mechanics Raymond Carver
In this week discussion assignment, I selected and read a story titled 'Popular Mechanics' by Raymond Carver. The story was about a family of
three; husband, wife and a child. With the look of things, the family was headed for a breakup due to an ongoing dispute which the narrator didn't its
root cause. The wife wanted the man to evacuate the house while leaving her and her son in absolute freedom. Probably, the husband was living at the
mercy of his wife at the time of this event; so when things seem to fall apart, the woman demanded an exit option for the man. One winter evening,
while the melting snow liters down the roof, the man decided to pack out of the house which was a welcome development for the woman. She was
excited that the man

Personal Narrative Essay: Moving To America
I stepped out of the dark secluded room and into the bright sunlight. My eyes stung from the burning sunlight. I hadn't seen the sunlight in ages. I had
to go into hiding for months. The Nazi's were searching everywhere for us. I wouldn't let myself be captured. I had to trek on and flee from Germany.
My family had made it to America and I owed it to them to make it there too.
I planned on catching a train and get off near an airport. I had a fake ID and passport that I was going to use. The train was going to leave in about a
hour so if I am going to make it I have to leave now. I grabbed my bag filled with old food and torn up clothing and slung it over my shoulders. I
peeked around the corner of the beaten down building and made a run for

Beowulf's Qualities Of A Hero
Throughout the story Beowulf displays many attributes of a hero. For example, he displays bravery, honor and strength in many situations throughout
the entire story, proving to everyone why he is a hero. Although these aren't all of the characteristics of a hero, these are the most important of a hero
back in Beowulf's time and these characteristics is what most people strived to have but only came to a select few. The first characteristic and maybe
the most important one that Beowulf possessed was bravery. He displayed his bravery several times throughout the story and one of the most iconic
was when he dove right into grendel's mother's lair. "He lept into the lake, would not wait for anyone's answer; The heaving water covered him over."

Vocab Short Story
Julianna riehl Vocab word short story The house was peaceful, not a sound to be heard except for the light hum of the heater in the corner of the
dark room. Dylan layed in bed unaware of the jeering sound that was about to overcome the silence. The alarm clock next to his bed reared to life
causing a fervorous feeling to set in the pit of his stomach. Rolling over he slammed his hand on the alarm making the room silent once again.
Dylan pushed the covers off his body and let out a long clamour as his feet hit the cold wooden floor. After the two week break, he would finally be
going back to school. His feet dragged along the ground feeling as if he was dragging cinder blocks by his ankles. He worked his way to the bathroom,

I Love America Essay 400 Words
Fear. Tears. Disappointment. I love Americans, yet half of the country just slapped me, and other marginalized groups on the face with the
biggest, "fuck you." This is not my America. My America knows how to love, how to be free, how to celebrate without discriminations and see
beyond the labels. America is powerful because we know when we have the abilities, we would help regardless of who they are or where they came
from. We have our principles, yet we are also willing to embrace and give second chances to those who may not had the luxury to have a bright start.
That is my America where we are great and we are all equal. I love America, because I get to be free. I get to be myself. I get to celebrate my
individuality. I finally found

Macbeth: A Tragic Hero
"what's done cannot be undone." (Shakespeare 5.1.71) Some considered Macbeth to be a hero; others think he is beyond making good again. The
ways Macbeth made his way up to power can never be undone. Which makes Macbeth a very tragic hero.
To start Macbeth was a fully realized human being than others. He had heightened powers and destiny of accomplishing great things. "All hail, Macbeth
! Hail thee, Thane of Glamis! All hail Macbeth! Hail thee, Thane of Cawdor! All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!" (Shakespeare 1.3.51–53)
the witches say proving that Macbeth is respected enough to be the Thane of Cawdor. Then later proving that he has the power to become and stay the
king of Scotland. Yes, he does kill the king to become king, but...show more content...
Besides the witches talking to Macbeth into becoming the king, which convinces him to kill the king, so he can be king; Macbeth has others help
doom him to his fate. Later on when Macbeth goes to the witches again after killing Banquo; they begin to show Macbeth these apparitions. "Macbeth!
Beware Macduff! Beware the Thane of Fife!" (Shakespeare 4.1.81–82) "Macbeth! ... for none of woman born shall harm thee Macbeth." (Shakespeare
4.1.88–92) When the wood begins to move that will signal the end of Macbeth. When Macbeth believes the apparitions he starts to go a little crazy
and continues his fall. When reporting of the wood moving Macbeth discovers his end is coming.
Finally, Macbeth was able to learn through suffering and personal courage in accepting death and annihilation. "Dispair thy charm, and let the angel
whom thou still hast served tell thee, Macduff was from his mother's womb untimely ripped." (Shakespeare 5.8.17–20) at this moment Macbeth
realized that this was his time to go. Much like the witches said "no man that's born of woman shall e'er have power upon thee." (Shakespeare 5.3.6–7)
When Macbeth found out Macduff was not woman born Macbeth stopped fighting and knew this was the end of his life.
In conclusion all is done that cannot be undone. Macbeth has proven himself to be a very tragic hero by giving up all that he had gained; to finish his
fate that was prophesied by the

Ancient Egypt Research Paper
Egypt was one of the greatest civilizations found in the continent of Africa. Ancient Egypt began around 4,000 B.C.E. and the source of its greatness

Philosophical Argument ( 400 Words )
PHILOSOPHICAL ARGUMENT (400 words)
According to Sartre (1948, p.1) Existentialism is a principle that renders human life possible, through the affirmation that all truth and action denote an
environment and a human subjectivity. A belief that the essence of man precedes that existence which we encounter through experience (Sartre, 1948,
p. 3). Existentialism places the full responsibility for one's existence upon our own shoulders; putting a man in ownership of himself as he is,
responsible for his own individuality (Sartre, 1948, p. 3). But he is also responsible for men, as he fashions a certain image of man, as I would have
them to be (Sartre, 1948, p. 4). "I think, therefore I am", this is the supreme truth of consciousness as it attains to itself (Sartre, 1948, p. 9). Through this
man invents and defines himself; this is specifically what Sartre means by 'freedom' and provides a connection to understanding 'selfhood' (Richey,
2015, p. 8).
It is conceivable to be free without having explicit consciousness of our freedom (Vasey, 2010, p. 2). As if a person could simply be who he is, Vasey
(2010, p. 8) states then he would be in the present, and the present tense would be just right for capturing his experience, his relationship to both himself
and his world. At the core of existentialism, is the absolute character of the free commitment, by which everyone realises his or her selves in
comprehending a type of humanity. Such humanity refers to a commitment

Definition Essay On American Dream
President Obama once said, "We may come from different places and have different stories, but we share common hopes, and one very American
dream." The American dream is defined as "The ideal that every US citizen should have an equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through
hard work, determination, and initiative." In my generation everyone is entitled to have a dream, and most importantly everyone is destined to fulfill
their dream. My generation is not limited by status, economics, race, gender, religion, education and anything else that would interfere with the pursuit
of happiness. Due to the civil rights act we have the freedom to dream and achieve whatever we want without being restricted by past stereotypes.

Reflective Essay For College
During my freshman year of undergraduate school, I received a D in general chemistry. I felt uncomfortable asking for help when I did not understand
the material and was easily intimated by the abundance of upperclassmen in the course. I did not properly utilize the TA sessions or office hours from
the professors. Because I did not have a strong foundation in general chemistry, I continued to struggle throughout my chemistry courses, receiving D's
in Organic Chemistry I and II. I felt shameful and embarrassed about my poor grades, and that self–imposed stigma followed me throughout my
undergraduate career, and to some extent graduate school. When I retook Organic Chemistry II, I earned an A by studying more diligently and

Police Brutality Against Black People
Police officers are physically abusing and killing black people every day. Black communities are dissociating themselves from law enforcement
because they view them as the enemy. Additionally, crime reporting numbers have been down in black neighborhoods after a series of high profile
cases of police misconduct against black men have been surfacing in the news. For example, the crime reporting has shown a significant drop in the
city of Milwaukee after a black man in the city was brutally beaten by white police officers. This problem has had effects on police community

Osteoporosis: A Common Disease
Today osteoporosis is a very common disease that is brought on for various reasons. It is not one hundred percent preventable but there are ways you
can ease the pain and or prevent it from getting worse. Family history and poor habits can bring osteoporosis on so it is important that people are
aware of the outcomes of their poor health choices.
Osteoporosis is an imbalance between bone loss and bone remodeling. Basically the bone density has become extremely low causing much pain and a
higher chance of fractures and or bone breakages. Bone remodeling is responsible for removing mature bone tissue and replacing it with new bone
tissue. This disease is more common in older adults, Asians, and Hispanics due to the lack of calcium consumption. Women are often more prone to
getting osteoporosis than men because women are born with less bone mass than men. This disease often occurs if full bone mass was not achieved
during the bone–building years....show more content...
Because the bone density is so weak fractures are very common. Patients may experience severe back pain along with loss of height and stooped
posture. There may be a loss of appetite, along with abdominal pain, and constipation. The only way to truly know if a patient has osteoporosis is to
see a doctor. Doctors will ask questions about the family history, osteoporosis is sometimes genetic. A physical test will then be performed. This
includes a urine sample, blood tests, and a BMD (bone marrow density) test of the hip, spine, and other areas of the body based on the doctors

School Choir Monologue

  • 1. School Choir Monologue At first, the lure of the school choir for me was the intricacy of the harmonious blend of all its parts. The unimaginable high keys of the soprano girls coupled with the subtle harmony of the altos and the bold hum of the tenors reinforced by the rich rumble of the bass boys left me awestruck every Sunday mass. The choir seemed to be able to render every song it sang with effortless dexterity and passion; they were truly a sight to behold. I joined my school's choir in the tenth grade. I can't even begin to describe the severity of the raging butterflies in my stomach on the day of my audition. Standing in front of the whole choir, I began to belt out the first verse of How Great Thou Art as they watched intently. After the first few words, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Kindness Definition Essay Kindness. Kindness is like the season Autumn. It carries the golden, red, orange, and yellow leaves from one tree to the next, gathering more and more leaves until a whole assortment of leaves is blowing in the breeze. Just like Autumn, Kindness spreads as it is passed on from person to person. Kindness brings joy, happiness, and friendship as it flows from one act to the next like a river splitting into several directions. Kindness brings people together, like the thousands leaves blowing and bunching onto someone's just–raked lawn. Kindness can be demonstrated in a number of forms. At school, in home, around neighborhoods, during after school activities, and anywhere else you can imagine. An act of KIndness does not have to change the world, Get more content on HelpWriting.net

One winter evening, while the melting snow liters down the roof, the man decided to pack out of the house which was a welcome development for the woman. • 4. Personal Narrative Essay: Moving To America I stepped out of the dark secluded room and into the bright sunlight. My eyes stung from the burning sunlight. I hadn't seen the sunlight in ages. I had to go into hiding for months. The Nazi's were searching everywhere for us. I wouldn't let myself be captured. I had to trek on and flee from Germany. My family had made it to America and I owed it to them to make it there too. I planned on catching a train and get off near an airport. I had a fake ID and passport that I was going to use. The train was going to leave in about a hour so if I am going to make it I have to leave now. I grabbed my bag filled with old food and torn up clothing and slung it over my shoulders. I peeked around the corner of the beaten down building and made a run for Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Beowulf's Qualities Of A Hero Throughout the story Beowulf displays many attributes of a hero. For example, he displays bravery, honor and strength in many situations throughout the entire story, proving to everyone why he is a hero. Although these aren't all of the characteristics of a hero, these are the most important of a hero back in Beowulf's time and these characteristics is what most people strived to have but only came to a select few. The first characteristic and maybe the most important one that Beowulf possessed was bravery. He displayed his bravery several times throughout the story and one of the most iconic was when he dove right into grendel's mother's lair. "He lept into the lake, would not wait for anyone's answer; The heaving water covered him over." This Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Vocab Short Story Julianna riehl Vocab word short story The house was peaceful, not a sound to be heard except for the light hum of the heater in the corner of the dark room. Dylan layed in bed unaware of the jeering sound that was about to overcome the silence. The alarm clock next to his bed reared to life causing a fervorous feeling to set in the pit of his stomach. Rolling over he slammed his hand on the alarm making the room silent once again. Dylan pushed the covers off his body and let out a long clamour as his feet hit the cold wooden floor. After the two week break, he would finally be going back to school. His feet dragged along the ground feeling as if he was dragging cinder blocks by his ankles. • 7. I Love America Essay 400 Words Fear. Tears. Disappointment. I love Americans, yet half of the country just slapped me, and other marginalized groups on the face with the biggest, "fuck you." This is not my America. My America knows how to love, how to be free, how to celebrate without discriminations and see beyond the labels. • 13. Philosophical Argument ( 400 Words ) PHILOSOPHICAL ARGUMENT (400 words) According to Sartre (1948, p.1) Existentialism is a principle that renders human life possible, through the affirmation that all truth and action denote an environment and a human subjectivity. A belief that the essence of man precedes that existence which we encounter through experience (Sartre, 1948, p. 3). Existentialism places the full responsibility for one's existence upon our own shoulders; putting a man in ownership of himself as he is, responsible for his own individuality (Sartre, 1948, p. 3). But he is also responsible for men, as he fashions a certain image of man, as I would have them to be (Sartre, 1948, p. 4). "I think, therefore I am", this is the supreme truth of consciousness as it attains to itself (Sartre, 1948, p. 9). Through this man invents and defines himself; this is specifically what Sartre means by 'freedom' and provides a connection to understanding 'selfhood' (Richey, 2015, p. 8). It is conceivable to be free without having explicit consciousness of our freedom (Vasey, 2010, p. 2). As if a person could simply be who he is, Vasey (2010, p. 8) states then he would be in the present, and the present tense would be just right for capturing his experience, his relationship to both himself and his world. At the core of existentialism, is the absolute character of the free commitment, by which everyone realises his or her selves in comprehending a type of humanity. Such humanity refers to a commitment Get more content on HelpWriting.net

In my generation everyone is entitled to have a dream, and most importantly everyone is destined to fulfill their dream.
