3. Extension of the $0.50 per gallon
alternative fuel excise tax credit for LPG
used in vehicles from December 31, 2011 -
December 31, 2016.
• Allow a $0.50 per gallon tax
credit for the use of LPG in a
qualified vehicle application.
4. Extension of the new qualified
alternative fueled motor vehicle credit
through December 31, 2016.
• This would allow a tax credit of
50 – 80% of the incremental cost
of a dedicated LPG fueled vehicle,
depending on vehicle efficiency.
5. Extension of alternative fuel
vehicle refueling property credit
through December 31, 2016
• Would allow a tax credit of 30
percent of the incremental cost
of refueling infrastructure, not to
exceed $30,000 per installation.
