Born on August 24, 1990, Wasim Akram is an upcoming footballer from the Ladakh region of
Jammu & Kashmir and has been playing in the position of a midfielder. Wasim is an ace player, who
has been playing since a very young age of 13 years. Basically left footed and free kick specialist, his
best attributes are quick dribbling skills from both the legs and has great stamina to play full 90 min
match. He is also very versatile and can quickly adapt to any situations in the game and has a great
team spirit.

2. He was the captain of his school team for both junior and senior level. He had represented his
school in many inter-school competitions, for which he was awarded with the title of Best Player on
multiple occasions.
Wasim has played in All India Tournaments, Open Nationals and School Nationals, has also
represented his College and University team at various National Level competitions and was
awarded by the college for extraordinary performance in football for three consecutive years while
playing for the College and University team. At professional level, Wasim has played for various
Senior Division Football Clubs. In these Clubs, Wasim has played instrumental role in most of the
matches and has helped his team in winning many crucial matches. He is not associated with any
club at present.
Always positive and hard working both mentally and physically, Wasim has the dedication and will
power to achieve his goals. He is consistent with his training sessions and gives his best both on and
off the field, to polish his skills.
