Beloved, the blessings derivable from the truth
embedded in this gospel is so great and marvelous.
In fact, I do not even know how to express it so that
you may be able to comprehend same. THE DEATH
OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST ON THE CROSS WAS
ONLY THE PHYSICAL ASPECT OF TRIBULATION.
BUT THIS IS THE SPIRITUAL ASPECT. JUST SUFFER
FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S WELFARE AND YOU WOULD
BE BOUNTIFULLY BLESSED AND REWARDED.

Recall the statement of Christ thus : John 17: 4-5. I
have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the
work which thou gavest me to do.
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own
self with the glory which I had with thee before the
world was.
It therefore, behooves us to give to God His due
glory. We should make sure all our endeavors are to
His glory. THE GREATEST WAY OF GIVING GOD HIS
DUE GLORY IS TO ENDURE ALL THINGS AND
ACCEPT TO SUFFER FOR HIS SAKE. FOR AS YOU DO
THESE, YOU ARE GLORIFIED AND THE RECIPIENTS
OF SUCH GESTURE ARE SAVED. AND ALL THESE
AMOUNT TO GOD'S GLORY. IF AS MANY AS IMBIBE
THIS TEACHING TODAY UNDERSTAND ITS
SIGNIFICANCE, THEY WOULD ALWAYS INSIST ON
DOING GOOD UNCONDITIONALLY, AND WITHOUT
REGRET. THEY TOO WOULD NO LONGER EXPECT TO
BE PRAISED BY MAN, NEITHER, WOULD THEY BE IN
DREAD OF BLASPHEMIES AND EVIL RECOMPENSE
FOR THEIR GOOD WORKS. They would rejoice over
everything, knowing fully well that this constitutes
the glory of God.

TOTALLY DISREGARD THE DIFFICULTIES,
RELEGATINGS, INSULTS AND DEPRIVATIONS
INVOLVED.
Do not think of investing your money and time in any
business of this world which you identify to be
lucrative. Instead, be dedicated to God and His
services. ALWAYS SEE GOD’S SERVICES AS BEING
PARAMOUNT IN YOUR LIFE, AND TOTALLY
DISREGARD THE DIFFICULTIES, RELEGATINGS,
INSULTS AND DEPRIVATIONS INVOLVED. IN SO
DOING, YOU WILL BE BOUNTIFULLY BLESSED AND
REWARDED BY GOD. IN FACT, YOU SHALL HAVE
ETERNAL LIFE.
YOU CANNOT REGRET IN LIFE FOR VERY
DILIGENTLY DEDICATING YOURSELF TO GOD, BUT
IF YOU SHUN GOD’S SERVICES AND YOU EMBRACE
OTHER WORLDLY AND MUNDANE MATTERS, YOU
HAVE FAILED AND YOU CANNOT SEE THE LIGHT OF
GOD SHINING IN YOU.

VIOLENT TO THE CORE
So, in order to be violent to the core as a way of
gaining this kingdom, you must of necessity endure
all things and express equal love for all and sundry,
without looking back if you are praised,
compensated and rewarded accordingly by man or
not.

Joh 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a
king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am
a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause
came I into the world, that I should bear witness
unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth

BLESSED ARE THE EAR THAT HEARS THIS TRUTH
BEING DEPRIVED OF YOUR RIGHTS AND
PRIVILEGES AND REVILED FOR GOD'S SAKE
CONSTITUTES THE GLORY OF GOD. SO, BLESSED

ARE THE EAR THAT HEARS THIS TRUTH, AND THE
INTELLECT THAT COMPREHENDS, AND THE MIND
THAT IS WILLING TO EXHIBIT SAME FOR THE
UPLIFTMENT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. This truth is in
fact the source of your salvation and glory. This is a
spiritual language and as such it could be
understood by only those who are in the spirit. This
goes in line with one of our spiritual choruses that
goes thus: "Those who seek for me in the spirit find
me in the spirit, for I operate in the spirit."
WHEN THE CHRIST'S STUDENTS AND WITNESSES
PROCLAIMED THE FATHER AS THE SOLE SPIRITUAL
HEAD.
Joh 18:19 The high priest then asked Jesus of his
disciples, and of his doctrine.
Joh 18:20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to
the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in
the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in
secret have I said nothing.
Joh 18:21 Why askest thou me? ask them which
heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they
know what I said.

Joh 18:22 And when he had thus spoken, one of the
officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm
of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest
so?
Joh 18:23 Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil,
bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest
thou me?

OH! WHAT A GOOD GOD.
Beloved, did you hitherto, know the significance of
the above statement? Everybody has equal rights
here in the kingdom. Even if a person is always fond
of blaspheming against Brotherhood of the Cross and
Star and doing many other things to cast a slur on
the Father's reputation, do not discriminate against

him for any reason. It is incumbent upon you rather,
to bring everyone to God, for all that pleases God is
to accord every soul salvation so that no man
perishes. This is the cross which you have to carry.
It depicts living in the spirit.
A Spiritual chorus affirms that “Olumba has
quenched the fire that was set by Satan.” But the
question is what does Olumba use to extinguish such
fire?
BEFORE THIS PERIOD, WHEN THE CHRIST'S
STUDENTS AND WITNESSES PROCLAIMED THE
FATHER AS THE SOLE SPIRITUAL HEAD, THE
ENTIRE BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR
WAS SORROWFUL, AND NONE DID SUPPORT THE
IDEA. PEOPLE EVEN VOWED NOT TO WORSHIP MAN
AT THE EXPENSE OF THE REAL JESUS CHRIST.
SOME MEMBERS EVEN MAINTAINED THAT FOR THE
CHRISTS' STUDENTS/ WITNESSES TO INDULGE IN
SUCH AN ACT, THEY COULD BEST BE ADDRESSED
AS REBELS.
But today what is the case? Have all tongues not
respectively sung His praise, and have all knees and
heads not bowed for His rulership alone? That is the

reason I have made them teachers for all members
of this kingdom. Matt 5:10 Blessed are they which
are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is
the kingdom of heaven.
The more you work for Him the more He works for
you. If all of you gathered here had surrendered in
totality to him, you would have been exalted the
more. But since you have chosen to be slack in your
services to God because of the shortcomings and
insults involved, God also turns His eyes off you and
you cannot see the light of day. An adage has it that
an axe cannot be put to rest if the tree has not fallen
down. It is the end that always justifies the means.
This is the motto for the Christ Students/Witnesses.
Be serious and relentless in serving Him for you shall
receive the reward for that.
I have to reveal this truth to you so that you may
change your attitude and go into this narrow gate
that leads to eternal life and glory. If a man rewards
you as you work for him, your compensation is
credited to your current account, which is only a
temporal account. But if God, per se, compensates
you for your good works and endurance, your
account is a fixed deposit account, permanent and

eternal account, and it has much to its credit. And
any amount credited to your fixed deposit account
never runs bankrupt.
This gospel is indeed a very powerful one, and I do
not doubt, because during every armed forces'
fellowship meeting with the Father, wonderful words
often gush out from the Father's mouth. As from now
all Brotherhood members should know that Christs
Students/Witnesses are the good soldiers of the
Father's spiritual army, as said in:
Revelation 17: 14: 14: These shall make war with
the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he
is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are
with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
THE INEVITABLE GATEWAY INTO GOD'S KINGDOM.
Apart from this avenue, there is no other gateway in
the kingdom of God. So there is no way in which this
could be avoided. Read the second lesson again.

*If you move with a cunning man without hurting his
feelings for being tricky and crafty; if you can stay
with a notorious liar very happily without stirring up
his anger when he tells you a lie; when one
persecutes you falsely and seeks to destroy your life
by all means yet you tolerate him whole-heartedly,
you are carrying the real Cross.
*When one wrongs you, and you see that because of
his pride you may fall apart, so you go to him and tell
him that you have offended him instead, and ask for
forgiveness, you are carrying the Cross of Christ.

You can now understand what the Cross means.
Without this kind of Cross you cannot convert a
single soul. This is the Cross I am asked to preach
to you. When you smile at every persecution, smile
at false accusations; when you continue to do good
in the midst of strong temptations; when you are
hated because of the good things you have done, yet
you are not discouraged, you are carrying the Cross.
* Coming to One’s Wits End
When you stay with a wicked person, allow him to
finish playing his wickedness because if you stop
him when he had not yet finished it, you are blocking
his salvation. That cunning man who tricks you daily
must be allowed to continue in his profession until
he comes to his wits end.
That liar who lies to you everyday must not be
forced to stop lying. If he does not stop lying by
himself how can he be saved? You have to tolerate
them all. This is what is meant by carrying the
Cross.
If you can rejoice in tribulation and humiliation; if
you can tolerate abuses from people, be they young
or old, then you are carrying the Cross. When people

have bargained to get you involved into any trouble
yet you continue to treat each of them as your friend;
rendering to them any necessary help that each may
demand; continue to bring them nearer and nearer to
yourself; this is Cross bearing.
Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of
God our Saviour;
1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to
come unto the knowledge of the truth.
1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator
between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1Ti 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be
testified in due time.
Gal_6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye
which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit
of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be
tempted.
Jas 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth,
and one convert him;
Jas 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the
sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul
from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL
WHAT IS CROSS?
First Bible Lesson: 1 Corinthians 4:12
And labour, working with our own hands: being
reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:
Second Bible Lesson: 2 Corinthians 4:10
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the
Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made
manifest in our body.
Golden Text: 1 Corinthians 9:19
For though I be free from all men, yet have I made
myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
“Anybody who wants to follow me but is unwilling to
take up the Cross after me cannot be my follower.”
OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.(Luke 14:27)
Brethren, our Gospel this afternoon is about the
“CROSS.” After that celebrated Gospel on: “What is
Brotherhood,” during the Pentecostal Convention,

many had thought that the Gospel on Cross and Star
would follow. But since my Father did not give the
signal throughout the Convention that I should do so,
I could not do anything more than to allow His will to
prevail.
This afternoon Brethren, it is His pleasure to give the
signal that I continue. Therefore, I shall be failing in
my duty as His mouth-piece, if I fail to give you the
Gospel on “CROSS” today.
Does Cross Mean Alms Giving, Etc?
Some think that to give alms means carrying the
Cross. Others think that to heal the sick by praying
means carrying the Cross. Many others think that to
pray for yourself three times a day means carrying
the Cross. Yet another class of people think that to
pay Tithe, Freewill Offering and Charity means
carrying the Cross.
Cross has been made into different forms. Some
hang it around their necks; some hang it on their
doors. Do all these make up the Cross that Christ
says we should carry?
We all know that Christ fell down with the Cross as
he was carrying it to Calvary. Does carrying the

Cross then mean that piece of wood that He carried?
Without the Cross the world could not have been
saved. The Cross is light, and it is also heavy. For
the world to be in perfect peace each of us should
agree to carry the Cross.
By what means does one convert a smoker, a
snuffer, a fornicator, a thief, a murderer, a back-
biter, or a liar? It is by carrying the Cross. If we all
should decide today to take up the Cross, the sins of
the world would vanish immediately.
Then what is the Cross? Is it vision and prophecy;
building of houses for people; giving food to people,
buying dresses for people? If Jesus had only healed
and prophesied without carrying the Cross His work
could have come to nothing.
It Means Bearing One Another's Burden
If you hire bicycles for Brethren going on Ministry
work to make their job less difficult you are not
carrying the Cross. Cross is not huge as you might
have imagined. It is very small, it is light but it is
also very heavy. What is the Cross? Cross means
bearing another man's burden without complaining;

tolerating all kinds of sinners, the murderers, the
thieves, the back-biters etc.
If you stand firm with Christ without fighting back
your accusers whenever you are accused falsely or
being spat upon or jeered at, disgraced and insulted
without just cause; if you are informed that someone
has planned to shoot you, and you fail to run away
when he aims at you to shoot, then you are carrying
the Cross. To carry the Cross does not cost
anything.
To be able to carry the Cross you must resign
yourself completely to God. You must be loving,
humble. You must esteem another man better than
yourself. You must not be envious. If Jesus did not
possess these qualities He could not have carried
the Cross.
If you move with a cunning man without hurting his

persecutes you falsely and seeks to destroy your life
by all means yet you tolerate him whole-heartedly,
you are carrying the real Cross.

The Turning Point in Saul's Life
Saul was the greatest enemy of Christ. He
traveled from place to place, intimidating the
Christians. He took permission from the high priest
to go from Church to Church to arrest, imprison and
to kill Christ's followers. He witnessed the stoning
to death of Stephen, and Stephen’s accusers who
were also the witnesses took off their coats and laid
them at Saul’s feet. (Acts 7:58)
But on that fateful day on his way to Damascus,
Christ knocked him cold on the ground. He was flat
on his face and could not move an inch when he
heard a voice saying: “Saul, Saul, why persecutest
thou me?” (Acts 9:4)
He answered, “Who art thou, Lord.” And the voice
said, "I am Jesus whom thou persecutest." He
trembled and asked Jesus what he would want him
do. The Lord told him to arise and go into the city.
There he would be told what to do.
Those who traveled with him to Damascus were
shocked for hearing only a voice without seeing
anybody. Saul rose from the ground a completely

blind man. He was led by hand into the city of
Damascus.
There Jesus told one Ananias, a disciple, to go into
the street called Straight, and enquire in the house
of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus. But Ananias
told Jesus that Saul had been very much against
Christ, especially His Saints. Ananias told Jesus
that Saul had authority from the Chief priest to have
all those who call on the name of Jesus bound.
What did Jesus tell Ananias? He told him to go his
way; for He had chosen Saul as a vessel unto
Himself to bear His name before the Gentiles and
Kings and the children of Israel.
If Saul had seen Jesus face to face he could have
killed Him if it were possible. Jesus caught him red-
handed, and did not kill him but rather made him a
vessel unto Himself.
Coming to One's Wit's End

are giving them life. Finally the power of life in you
will kill the evil ways in them, and you have given
them life. This is carrying of the Cross.
If you cannot carry the Cross you cannot convert an
evil doer. If you get annoyed with him you have
failed in your duty as a Cross bearer. It requires

determination and endurance without complaining.
As a Cross bearer, you must always be prepared for
the worst, all in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
First Bible Lesson: 1 Corinthians 4:12

person; when one assassinates your character, and
you bless him; when one hates you without reason,
and you bless him; when you do not complain for
being painted black; when you go on your knees to
ask God to forgive your enemies whole-heartedly,
you are carrying the Cross.
When one wrongs you, and you see that because of
his pride you may fall apart, so you go to him and tell
him that you have offended him instead, and ask for
forgiveness, you are carrying the Cross of Christ.
You can now understand what the Cross means.
Without this kind of Cross you cannot convert a

hated because of the good things you have done, yet
you are not discouraged, you are carrying the Cross.
The Sentence
If you built a house for a man, and instead of him
being appreciative of it he turns round to abuse you,
if you repay him in the same disgraceful way you
have willingly dropped your Cross. If you drive him
away from the house your sin becomes greater than
his. If you give out your house for rent and because
your tenant does not pay his rent, you evict him from
the house you have not even lifted up the Cross.
If you see a thief in your house, and you shout thief,
thief, without allowing him to achieve his objective,
you are not carrying the Cross. You may say that
this is humanly impossible. But I tell you that it is
humanly possible. This is the only way you can carry
the Cross. When you have him arrested and
imprisoned have you stopped him from stealing?
This method in the end will make him a hardened
criminal. You have not changed him.
But when you allow him to steal what he wants, he
will be in peace, and you also will be in peace.
Supposing by shouting, “thief, thief,” he cuts off your

head or have you completely maimed; who is at a
loss?
By simply asking him to steal what he wants you
have set his mind thinking; much more when you tell
him that you are prepared to help him carry the
stolen goods out, He may come to his senses and
may be ashamed of himself; he may even confess to
you why he has come to steal; he may become
converted because you have not wounded his pride.
From that simple but unbelievable sentence, "Steal
what you want to steal," you have done the greatest
work in the sight of God.
Argument That Will Not Help
If somebody comes to you with one naira, and tells
you that it is only thirty kobo, do not start any
argument with him. Agree that it is as he or she
says. You do not gain anything through argument. In
the end you will still be wiser. Because after
sometime he would get at his wit's end. It is there
that he will know that he has been making a fool of
himself.
If someone comes to tell you that he has refrained
from all manner of sins, don't ask him any question,

just agree; for sooner or later you will know whether
he has refrained from sin without any loss of face.
Do not say that you are good when you are not. This
may make your Cross burdensome. Do not look for
life; you may lose it. Allow yourself to be
persecuted, accused falsely or disgraced. The more
you suffer these things the more you see the glory of
God in you.
If Abraham did not tell the king that Sarah was his
Sister, God could not have revealed the relationship
between Abraham and Sarah to the king.(Gen 12:10-
20).
If we agree to be cheated, the glory of God will
certainly be manifested in us. Preaching alone does
not change a man to live a Christian life. The
carrying of the Cross is the shortest means of
converting a soul.
If we agree to bear one another's evil way; if we are
convinced that the fall of our brother is ours, we all
will carry the Cross without looking back. The work
will be made lighter. Until the Cross, which is fire,
burns away the sins in us no one will know.
Second Bible Lesson: 2 Corinthians 4:10

"Always bearing about in the body the dying of the
Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made
manifest in our body."
Why Not Defend Yourself, Said Pilate
Pilate said to Jesus, have you nothing to say in
defense against the accusation heaped on you?
Jesus did not do anything more than to take up the
Cross and resign Himself completely to Providence.
This put an end to the unnecessary struggle to save
His life.
When you witness false accusations, unjust
persecutions and disgrace, do not apply worldly
wisdom. Because by struggling to save your life you
may lose it.
It requires complete resignation to God; for by
counting your life as lost, you will regain it. That is
God's wonderful way. Your faith in carrying the
Cross will reveal the Christ in you to your
persecutors and false-accusers. If you can endure
false allegations and put up a bright countenance
both within and without, don't you think people will
call you Jesus? There is no other Cross apart from
enduring evil, tolerating fornicators, adulterers,

back-biters, murderers; thieves etc., and you have
won their souls. Though it is not a simple thing to do
carnally, but with complete resignation to God you
have nothing to worry about.
You gain nothing by driving them away. They gain
nothing by being separated from you. You cannot
stay alone; for a tree cannot make a forest; but you
gain everything by accommodating them. Put on the
life of Jesus Christ, and you can do everything you
want to do.
Judas Reported To Jesus
What kind of Cross are you carrying when you get
flared up by the slightest provocation? When Peter,
James and John told Jesus that Judas Iscariot was
keeping the harlots happy with the money from their
common purse, Jesus did not get flared up. Before
he was made the treasurer, Christ had known him
well because Jesus had the power of reading the
heart of all human beings.
If Jesus had decided on any line of action against
Judas, He, Jesus, would have fallen. The Cross
could have meant nothing to Him. If He had thought
of entrusting their purse into the care of another

disciple all His work could have come to an end. In
whichever way you may look at the carrying of the
Cross, it means the same thing, i.e. the
determination and the endurance to tolerate all
kinds of people.
How many people in the world today can carry the
Cross? If we cannot carry the Cross how can we
promote the work of God?
Jesus knew before Judas decided to betray Him.
(Matt 26:21/ Mark 14:18/ Luke 22:21/John 13:21). To
prove Himself right He told His disciples that one of
them would betray Him. If it were you, you would
have sought for a way to kill Judas. But for the sake
of the Cross, Jesus allowed Judas to accomplish his
aim.
When you see a thief coming to steal your clothes,
and you allow him to steal them you are carrying the
Cross. If you chase him out you are obstructing the
work of God. Let us carry the Cross; for by carrying
the Cross the world will be in peace.
Golden Text: 1 Corinthians 9:19
"For though I be free from all men, yet have I made
myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more."

Be Servants Unto Others
The main reason why we should make ourselves
servants unto people is so that we may draw them
away from their sinful ways. When we have done
this we have therefore drawn them nearer unto
ourselves. Even though we are not under any
suffering, we must endure other people's sinful ways
so that they may be saved.
You can now see why we accommodate all kinds of
people, even though they may be false accusers,
unjust persecutors. Unless we allow the wicked
man to torment us for righteousness' sake we cannot
be true Cross bearers. If Christ did not allow Himself
to be tortured there could have been no salvation for
mankind, and the world would have been lost.
Let deceivers go on deceiving us. Let false
accusers continue to accuse us. Let us suffer
afflictions and tribulations. Let rogues continue to
steal our things.(Rev 22:11).
Let not our Spirit succumb to the evil planning of this
world. Let us not be tired by the craftiness of our
neighbors we have helped so much.

Let us agree without complaining when they show
us three things instead of five things; for in the end,
we will be blessed, they will be saved, and the glory
goes to our Loving Father.
Vultures abound where you find corpses; equally do
the birds of the air muster strong where ripe palm
fruits are found. Where you find foolish men there
too will you find wise men. Let us for the sake of our
brethren who have wandered away from this truth
agree to tolerate them by carrying the Cross at all
cost.
Those who have ears to hear let them hear.
May the Lord bless the preaching of His Holy Word.

WHAT IS CROSS?
First Bible Lesson: Mark 8:34
"And when he had called the people unto him with
his disciples also, he said unto them, "Whosoever
will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up
his cross, and follow me."
Second Bible Lesson: 1 Corinthians 1:17-18
"For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the
gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of
Christ should be made of none effect. For the
preaching of the cross is to them that perish
foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the
power of God."
Golden Text: Luke 14:27
"And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come
after me, cannot be my disciple."
Brethren, after reading through the three lessons you
will know that we want to say something about
CROSS.

SO MANY ARE WONDERING WHAT THE CROSS IN
BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR MEANS.
IT IS FROM THIS GOSPEL AND FROM THE ONE OF
THE PREVIOUS SUNDAY THAT THE MEANING
WOULD BE CLARIFIED. If you don't carry the Cross
you will not be able to endure shame and suffering.
The lesson says anyone who does not endure
suffering, and who does not carry the Cross cannot
be His disciple. THIS CROSS YOU HEAR OF IS NOT A
STICK, NOR IS IT MONEY, BUT IS "JESUS." SO
ANYONE WHO DOES NOT PREACH ABOUT JESUS IS
NOT PREACHING THE GOSPEL.
CHRIST, THE BEGINNING AND THE END
When preaching, you should embody Christ's
sufferings, His resurrection and His glory. PREACH
ALSO ABOUT HIS ADVICE TO THE WHOLE WORLD,
HIS PREACHINGS FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE; AND
PREACH THAT HE IS THE ONLY KING; AND THAT
PILATE HIMSELF HAD WANTED TO RELEASE
HIM.(LUKE 23:22). THE GOSPEL MEANS NOTHING
WITHOUT JESUS AND HIS SUFFERINGS, DEATH AND
GLORY, SO IF SOMEONE SHOULD ASK YOU THE
MEANING OF CROSS, SAY, AIT IS OUR LORD JESUS
CHRIST - HIS SUFFERINGS, CRUCIFIXION, DEATH,

RESURRECTION AND ETERNAL GLORY. IT DOES
NOT REQUIRE ONE WITH A UNIVERSITY DEGREE TO
UNDERSTAND THIS.
From Genesis to Revelation you will read of nothing
else except this. You will read of Him who redeemed
you from sin, and why He was nailed on the Cross.
All this was because of our sins. Did He then die so
that we may continue to sin? The answer is 'NO'. He
died so as to redeem us for God. SO YOU CAN SEE
THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE BEGINNING, THE
MEDIATOR, AND THE END OF ALL THINGS FROM HIS
CONCEPTION TO HIS BIRTH, AND FROM HIS BIRTH
TO HIS DEATH. MARY WAS A VIRGIN BEFORE SHE
WAS CONCEIVED OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Have you ever seen a woman conceived without
having any connection with a man? She was
conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit
exactly as Angel Gabriel told her, and the Angel also
told her that the child she would bring forth will rule
the house of David forever.(Luke 1:32). Brethren,
which other words would have power other than the
Words of Our Lord Jesus Christ? All the preachings
of the olden days bore witness about Jesus Christ -
David, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Moses and even John the

Baptist - all preached nothing except Our Lord Jesus
Christ.
JESUS CHRIST, THE HEALING POWER
So if we now do not preach about Him, it means that
we are not yet ready to be His disciples.
BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR MEANS
THOSE WHO PREACH ABOUT JESUS CHRIST - HIS
BIRTH, HIS SUFFERINGS, AND HIS DEATH. IN FACT
THERE IS NO OTHER THING THAT WE CAN USE TO
HEAL THE SICK OR RAISE THE DEAD EXCEPT THE
WORD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.
IF YOU REFUSE TO KNOW THIS TRUTH YOU ARE
LOST; FOR HE IS THE ONE WHO HAD MADE US TO
BE CALLED THE CHILDREN OF GOD. HIS
SUFFERINGS AND DEATH HAVE REDEEMED US
FROM OUR SINS, AND HAVE GIVEN US ETERNAL
LIFE, THUS REVEALING THE GLORY OF GOD, AND
SO MADE PEOPLE STAND FIRM AND BELIEVE IN
GOD. YOU ARE NOT TO PREACH ABOUT THE
ROMAN CATHOLIC OR PRESBYTERIAN OR ABOUT
ANY OTHER HUMAN BEING. IF YOU PREACH ABOUT
THEM, ARE THEY JESUS, WERE THEY THE MAN
NAILED ON THE CROSS? DON'T PREACH ABOUT

YOURSELVES EITHER, FOR YOU WERE NOT THE
ONE NAILED ON THE CROSS.
Brethren, no matter what you do, if you fail to
preach the sufferings, the death and the glory of Our
Lord Jesus Christ all will be in vain. THE
PREACHING OF OUR LORD JESUS IS SO POWERFUL
BECAUSE HE WAS BORN AS A KING BUT HE
HUMBLED HIMSELF UNTO DEATH. HE WAS BORN
IN A MANGER. ALL OF US HAVE HOUSES BUT
CHRIST HAD NONE; HENCE HIS SAYING, THAT THE
BIRDS OF THE AIR HAVE NESTS BUT THE SON OF
MAN HAS NOWHERE TO PUT HIS HEAD.(Luke 9:58).
He went from house to house, in forests and on the
seashore preaching the gospel, healing people free
of charge and feeding them at the same time.
When the Pharisees brought a woman who
committed adultery to Christ for punishment He said
to them that anyone who had never committed sin
should stone her, and when they heard this they left
the woman, and went out of the house one after the
other. (John 8:4-10).
THE SIGNIFICANCE OF ALL THESE IS THAT WE
SHOULD PUT ON THE NEW CLOTHES OF

FORGIVENESS AND FOLLOW HIS WAY OF LIVING,
BECAUSE HIS LIFE IS THE ONLY PATTERN FOR US
TO EMULATE. THAT IS WHY IT IS IMPERATIVE
THAT WE SHOULD ALWAYS PREACH ABOUT HIM
ONLY.
CHRIST'S LIFE IS A SHINING EXAMPLE:
Brethren, there is nothing else for us to preach about
except Jesus. YOU WILL NOTICE THAT FROM THE
ACTS OF THE APOSTLES - PAUL, PETER AND
OTHERS- PREACHED ABOUT OUR LORD JESUS
CHRIST. IF YOU DON'T TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR
FATHER AND WHAT HE DID, HOW CAN YOU INHERIT
HIS ESTATE OR PLEASE HIM? SO WHEN YOU
PREACH ABOUT CHRIST YOU WILL NOT ONLY
PREACH BUT YOU WILL BE FILLED WITH HIS POWER
AS WELL. SO WHEREVER YOU ARE SPEAKING DON'T
FORGET JESUS. When moving on the road and even
when advising people remind them about the
sufferings and the humility of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
IF YOU ARE ADVISING A WOMAN WHO IS LONGING
FOR AN ISSUE JUST REMIND HER THAT JESUS,
WHO IS OUR LORD, HAD NO ISSUE. IF YOU ARE
ADVISING ANYBODY LAMENTING FOR A WIFE JUST

REMIND HIM THAT JESUS HAD NO WIFE. Anybody
who laments about not having a box of clothes,
remind him that Our Lord had none.
If any person laments about not having a house,
remind such a person that our Lord Jesus who is the
Lord of lords, had no house. If anyone should lament
over a child dying leaving the mother alive, just
remind such a person that our Lord died and left his
own mother. Was there any ignominy that our Lord
did not bear? He was at one time accused of being
mad.
It was an uncommon sight for a man to be nailed on
the Cross as this was the worst form of death, and a
typical disgrace. If someone accuses you falsely
remember that Our Lord Jesus Christ who was holy
and righteous had agreed to suffer shame on the
Cross.
If someone that you helped turns round to pay you
back in bad coins, just remember that it was those
that Christ healed free of charge who went back to
stone Him. Remember that when He asked them
whether they came to stone Him,(John 10:31) and
they answered in the affirmative, yet these were the

people He was kind enough to heal earlier on. Tell
me if there is any other person who has suffered so
much. Why then should we not preach about Our
Lord Jesus Christ? So, Brethren, if you don't preach
Jesus Christ you cannot follow me. If you had
preached Abraham who married many wives, and
had landed properties and earthly riches, if you
preach David who was a sinner, I will not follow you.
If you don't preach about Jesus Christ and His
sufferings I will not follow you, because those things
happened so that we may follow His example. This
life of Our Lord Jesus Christ is like a plan for us to
follow, and upon which to build our life. It is like a
mirror for us to look and redress ourselves.
There were so many beautiful women in those
days but He remained single so that He may be able
to redeem you and me. He washed the feet of the
disciples, the dirtiest part of a human body, and left
an example for us to follow. (John 13:14-15).
So Brethren, there is no other thing that we can
preach to you except Jesus Christ. Why He did
these things was so that we may surrender
ourselves and serve God, and allow Him to do as He

wills with us. He died so that we may die as He died,
and be able to resurrect with Him.
Second Bible Lesson: 1 Corinthians 1:17-18

preaching of the cross is to them that perish

Brethren, you and I have been sent to preach the
Lord Jesus Christ, His life, sufferings and His death.
You are not to use your own wisdom. These things
are written so that we may copy Christ; for unto us,
who are saved, preaching of Jesus is the power of
God.
THE ONE FORTY-FOUR THOUSAND ARE THE PEOPLE
WHO BEAR TESTIMONY ABOUT CHRIST AND THE
CROSS.(REV. 14:3-4). AT ANYTIME THE ALMIGHTY
GOD HEARS THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS
CHRIST, HE RAISES UP HIS HAND TO OVERCOME
ALL DIFFICULTIES.

Golden Text: Luke 14:27
"And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come
after me, cannot be my disciple."
Brethren, if you don't preach the Cross of Our Lord
Jesus Christ you are not His disciple. So many can
begin preaching from January to December without
even mentioning either Christ or His Cross. Where
then can they get the power?
Indeed, it is only where the name of our Lord Jesus
is mentioned that you can see the Power of the Holy
Spirit and the Power of God; for it is said that where
there is a carcass there you can see vultures. (Matt
24:28).
So, Brethren, no matter what we do, if we don't
preach the Cross of Jesus Christ you cannot follow
Him. He Himself had said that nobody can follow
Him except he bears the Cross and follows after
Him, and if you are not His disciple it means you
have no share in the Kingdom, the mansion you build
for Our Lord not withstanding. You will see that you
have not done anything; and so start now to preach
about Jesus and the Cross.

Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is not found in
buildings but you have to go out and preach; and by
preaching about Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and
the power from the word you preach will enter into
people, and do wonderful works.
So Brethren, let us not use our wisdom to preach
the gospel but let us preach about Jesus and His
Cross. Preach in your house, preach in your market
place, preach in your offices and wherever you go.
Be His Follower By Carrying The Cross
If you should say that any person who does not come
to Brotherhood is lost, was it Brotherhood that was
nailed on the Cross? What you have to tell people is
that all should preach about Jesus Christ and His
sufferings; for He has shown the whole world a
pattern of life to be emulated.
So don't say you are not Jesus because as long as
He suffered in flesh you all have to suffer with Him
too, for it is through sufferings that we can get out of
sin.
If Christ, a Righteous and Holy Person, suffered, who
are you that you should not suffer. If you suffer
because you steal, or because you commit murder or

any other sin, that is not what we mean. We mean
the kind of suffering you suffer for doing good, even
as Christ did.
Why is it that there is no power in other Churches?
It is because they don't preach the Cross of Christ.
The only time you can hear them preach a little
about Christ is on Christmas day - 25th December, or
during Easter.
So anybody who does not take up the Cross and
follow Me cannot be My disciple; for it is power and
salvation for all those who carry the Cross. So, as
from now, don't indulge in vain words. If you watch
carefully you will see that in Brotherhood there is no
time that we don't preach about Jesus and the
Cross.
That Jesus whom Pilate wanted to release, but you
pressed that He should be crucified, and that
Barabbas should be released unto you; that same
Jesus is on earth now doing wonderful works,
healing the sick, raising the dead.
Let people repent and refrain from their sinful ways
so as to get salvation. IF YOU PREACH ABOUT
YOURSELF AND ANY OTHER PERSON AND THEIR

PERFORMANCES YOU ARE NOT A TRUE DISCIPLE.
So Brethren let us now preach about Jesus and the
Cross, for Jesus is the Cross and He is the Power we
see in Brotherhood today.
Those who have ears to hear let them hear, may the
Lord bless the preaching of His Holy Word. Amen!

First Bible Lesson: Matthew 10:40-42;
He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he

BELOVED THIS GOSPEL IS NEITHER A VISION NOR
A PROPHECY. IT IS THE WHOLE TRUTH BROUGHT
TO YOU BY THE FATHER HIMSELF.
There is a recompense for all the good deeds of man.
God makes sure He rewards every man for every
gesture expressed by him. So, never relent in
expressing good gesture to all and sundry, not
minding if such a beneficiary is close to you or not,
loves you or not, and never appreciates your gesture.
Summarily, always suffer for doing good, for your
recompense is great.

IF THE FATHER IS SO PLEASED AS TO GIVE YOU
THE ABILITY TO ENDURE ALL THINGS AND BELIEVE
FERVENTLY IN THE WORD OF TODAY, THEN YOU
ARE FREE AND ALSO YOU ARE ON TOP OF THE
WORLD. WHOEVER ENDURES TRIBULATION,
ACCEPTS TO SUFFER FOR DOING GOOD TO OTHERS,
AND DELIGHTFULLY BEARS WITH A CHRONIC
SINNER AND UNBELIEVER, IS DOING THE WORK OF
GOD.
YOUR OUTRIGHT ACCEPTANCE TO ENDURE ALL
THINGS, CARE FOR THOSE WHO DESPITEFULLY USE
YOU, AND DEPRIVE YOURSELF OF YOUR RIGHTS IN
LIFE, SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING
THE WELFARE AND WELL-BEING OF OTHERS WHO
HARDLY SPEAK WELL OF YOU, FORM THE ONLY
AVENUE THROUGH WHICH YOU CAN RECEIVE
IMMEASURABLE GLORY FROM GOD. THIS IS WHAT
HAS ELUDED ALMOST EVERY MAN HERE ON EARTH.
MANY PEOPLE DO FEEL DEPRIVED CHEATED WHEN
THEY DO THINGS TO MINIMIZE THE BURDEN OF
OTHER BRETHREN BUT THE OFFERING OF SUCH
SELFLESS DUTIES IS A SURE WAY OF SALVATION,
ETERNAL LIFE, AND ALSO A SURE WAY OF
GENERATING BOUNTIFUL BLESSING FROM GOD.

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FIRST EXHIBITED THIS
AND RECEIVED HIS REWARD ACCORDINGLY FROM
GOD. THIS THEREFORE IS THE ESSENCE OF
BRINGING TO YOU THIS TRUTH.
MY MOTIVE IS NOT TO COMPEL, DECEIVE, CAJOLE
AND OR ENTICE YOU TO DO THIS SO, PLEASE BEAR
WITH ME. MY MAIN MOTIVE RATHER IS TO
CORRECT AN IMPRESSION YOU HAVE IN ORDER
THAT THE REWARD FOR DOING GOOD MAY NOT
ELUDE YOU. The gist or fact embedded in this gospel
is what has eluded the entire world greatly, for
almost everybody in the world often complains and
eventually desists from doing good whenever they
are paid back with a bad coin. DO NOT LET
IGNORANCE DEPRIVE YOU OF YOUR BLESSING
FROM THE HANDS OF GOD. AFTER ALL IF THROUGH
YOUR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND EXHIBITION OF
GOOD WORKS, YOU ARE SAVED ALONG SIDE
ANOTHER PERSON WHOM YOU CLAIM TO BE
UNGRATEFUL, YOUR REWARD IS THE GREATEST.
THIS THEREFORE CONSTITUTES THE ONLY AVENUE
THROUGH WHICH YOU COULD BE SAVED.
ALONG THE LINE YOU HAVE TO SEEK FOR THE
WELFARE OF YOUR ADVERSARIES AND ALL THOSE

WHO ARE UNGRATEFUL. BUT IT IS UNFORTUNATE
THAT LITTLE DO PEOPLE KNOW THAT ANY
SELFLESS SERVICE RENDERED TO VERY
UNGRATEFUL PEOPLE IS THE ONLY SOURCE OF
GLORY TO THEM AND THE ONLY CHANNEL FOR
BRINGING SALVATION AND BLESSINGS TO THE
LOST ONES.
THE SOURCE OF GLORY AND SALVATION
Many people ignorantly do vow not to come
back in the next generation as benefactors because
of people's acts of paying them back with a bad coin.
Many too, do regret having helped one person or
another who in turn paid them back with a bad coin.
Many others too do see themselves as being
unlucky, when being rewarded evil for good. But
these are acts of ignorance, for whoever knows the
attending benefits involved in such gesture, never
relents nor becomes discouraged in carrying out
such benevolent functions, for this is the only source
of glory for the benefactor and salvation for the
recipient.
OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST THROUGH THIS MEDIUM
RECEIVED IMMENSE GLORY FROM GOD AND HE IN

TURN ACCORDED US SALVATION. SO, NEVER
COMPLAIN WHEN YOU ARE REWARDED EVIL FOR
THE GOOD YOU DO, BECAUSE THE GLORY THAT
AWAITS YOU IN THE HANDS OF GOD IS GREAT. THE
REASON IS THAT THROUGH YOU THE SOULS WHICH
ANTICIPATED NO SALVATION HAVE BEEN SAVED.
BELOVED, THE BLESSINGS DERIVABLE FROM THE
TRUTH EMBEDDED IN THIS GOSPEL IS SO GREAT
AND MARVELOUS. IN FACT, I DO NOT EVEN KNOW
HOW TO EXPRESS IT SO THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE
TO COMPREHEND SAME. THE DEATH OF OUR LORD
JESUS CHRIST ON THE CROSS WAS ONLY THE
PHYSICAL ASPECT OF TRIBULATION. BUT THIS IS
THE SPIRITUAL ASPECT. JUST SUFFER FOR OTHER
PEOPLE'S WELFARE AND YOU WOULD BE
BOUNTIFULLY BLESSED AND REWARDED.
Recall the statement of Christ thus : John 17: 4-5. I
have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the
work which thou gavest me to do.
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own
self with the glory which I had with thee before the
world was.

IT THEREFORE, BEHOOVES US TO GIVE TO GOD HIS
DUE GLORY. WE SHOULD MAKE SURE ALL OUR
ENDEAVORS ARE TO HIS GLORY. THE GREATEST
WAY OF GIVING GOD HIS DUE GLORY IS TO ENDURE
ALL THINGS AND ACCEPT TO SUFFER FOR HIS
SAKE. FOR AS YOU DO THESE, YOU ARE GLORIFIED
AND THE RECIPIENTS OF SUCH GESTURE ARE
SAVED. AND ALL THESE AMOUNT TO GOD'S GLORY.
If as many as imbibe this teaching today understand
its significance, they would always insist on doing
good unconditionally, and without regret. THEY TOO
WOULD NO LONGER EXPECT TO BE PRAISED BY
MAN, NEITHER, WOULD THEY BE IN DREAD OF
BLASPHEMIES AND EVIL RECOMPENSE FOR THEIR
GOOD WORKS. THEY WOULD REJOICE OVER
EVERYTHING, KNOWING FULLY WELL THAT THIS
CONSTITUTES THE GLORY OF GOD.
Blindness in fact is a very bad sickness. Also,
ignorance is a very sad situation. Do you know that
many people have been abstaining from rendering
services to God and they are withdrawing their
services to God because of what they felt or
perceived as tribulations inherent in the performance
of the task? But if you do not pass through these

tests, trials and tribulations how would you be
glorified? Some People feel that it is unprofitable to
serve God.
Little do they know the magnitude of the glory
involved in this act. BEING DEPRIVED OF YOUR
RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES AND REVILED FOR GOD'S
SAKE CONSTITUTES THE GLORY OF GOD. SO,
BLESSED ARE THE EAR THAT HEARS THIS TRUTH,
AND THE INTELLECT THAT COMPREHENDS, AND
THE MIND THAT IS WILLING TO EXHIBIT SAME FOR
THE UPLIFTMENT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. This truth
is in fact the source of your salvation and glory. This
is a spiritual language and as such it could be
understood by those who are in the spirit. This goes
in line with one of our spiritual choruses that goes
thus: "Those who seek for me in the spirit find me in
the spirit, for I operate in the spirit."
Those who are in the spirit are those who accept to
endure tribulation and deprivation in their attempt to
maximize the welfare of the ungrateful and
unfriendly brethren. Whoever does this receives in
the spirit such glory and blessings that have no
parallel. The more you endure all things, the more
the entire world is sure of salvation.

Do not allow your perception of people's unyielding
attitude towards Brotherhood of the Cross and Star
stop you from bringing them in here for the Holy
Father's blessing. Rather, bring all and sundry into
this place, and using peace, mercy, gentleness and
love, discarding all forms of unnecessary
preconditions and preferences. For in so doing, you
have accorded them salvation, giving glory to
yourself and to your God. Do not segregate against
anybody because of your preconceived notions of
him as a sinner. Instead, draw everybody nearer to
God. Here in Brotherhood there is no room for
segregation, be you black or white man. After all it is
written in the scriptures thus:
And other sheep I have which are not of this fold;
them also I bring, and they shall hear my voice and
there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. (John
10:16) .
FIRST BIBLE LESSON: MATTHEW 10:40-42
He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he
that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet
shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that
receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous
man shall receive
righteous man's reward. And whosoever shall give to
drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold
water only in
the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall
no wise lose his reward.
FOR EVERY GOOD WORK DONE THERE IS
COMPENSATION
BELOVED, AS I OFTEN TELL YOU, GOD WORKS FOR
THOSE WHO WORK FOR HIM. SO ALWAYS
DISCHARGE SELFLESS AND DILIGENT SERVICES TO
GOD SO AS TO BE COMPENSATED ACCORDINGLY.
THERE IS NO SERVICE RENDERED TO GOD THAT IS
FOR NAUGHT, SO, IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU
RELENT NOT IN THE OBLIGATIONS GIVEN TO YOU
BY GOD.
It is said: But this I say, He which soweth sparingly
shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth
bountifully shall reap also bountifully. (2 Cor. 9:6)

THE GREATEST WORK IS THE WORK OF THE SPIRIT
THAT IS REFERRED TO IN THIS SERMON. WHOEVER
BELIEVES IN CHRIST, OBEYS AND DOES THE
INJUNCTIONS GIVEN IN THIS SERMON, DOES THE
TASK WHICH IS AS GREAT AS CHRIST'S
CRUCIFIXION ON THE CROSS. AND THIS VERY
WORK GOES WITH SUCH A GREAT GLORY AND
REWARD WHICH IS BETTER EXPERIENCED THAN
IMAGINED.
Note that, it is the more you are relegated, ill treated
and deprived by men for God's sake, the more those
who do such things to you receive their salvation,
the more the glory you receive from God, and the
more God is glorified. It is this caring attitude of
yours that gives the people of the world life, injects
light into the world, and transforms the world from
depravity to righteousness. This the salvation that is
involved in accepting to endure all things.
It therefore becomes insignificant and unprofitable
to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star if a person in an
attempt to express his love for Brotherhood of the
Cross and Star rejects those who revile Brotherhood
of the Cross and Star and always contributes to our
detractors’ anticipated decline of the fold.

THE MORE YOU EMBRACE THOSE WHO
DESPITEFULLY USE YOU, THE MORE SINS ARE
ERADICATED FROM THE WORLD AND SALVATION
ACCORDED MANKIND. ALSO, THIS CARING
ATTITUDE NORMALLY BRINGS MAN TO A VERY
PROFITABLE END.
THE ONLY REWARDER
HAVING HEARD THE ABOVE PROMISE, IT IS HIGH
TIME YOU DISABUSED YOUR MINDS OF THE
MISCONCEPTION THAT MAN IS TOO UNGRATEFUL
FOR YOU TO RENDER ANY HELP TO HIM. AFTER ALL
NO MAN EVER DOES ANYTHING FOR HIS FELLOW
MAN. ALL YOUR SERVICES AND GESTURES ARE
FOR GOD, THE ONLY REWARDER. DO NOT SEEK FOR
PRAISES AND GLORY FROM THE HANDS OF MAN.
RATHER, SEEK TO BE PRAISED AND GLORIFIED BY
GOD. FOR ASIDE FROM HIM, NO MAN CAN PRAISE
OR GLORIFY ANY MAN.
It is said that right from the time of John the
Baptist, the Kingdom of God suffered violence. What
does this violence connote? It does not mean
physical combat. Rather it denotes a man's ability
and enthusiasm to unconditionally shoulder other

people's burden. So, in order to be violent to the core
as a way of gaining this kingdom, you must of
necessity endure all things and express equal love
for all and sundry, without looking back if you are
praised, compensated and rewarded accordingly by
man or not.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 11:28.
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
OH! WHAT A GOOD GOD.
Beloved, did you hitherto, know the significance of
the above statement? Everybody has equal rights
here in the kingdom. Even if a person is always fond
of blaspheming against Brotherhood of the Cross and
Star and doing many other things to cast a slur on
the Father's reputation, do not discriminate against
him for any reason. It is incumbent upon you rather,
to bring everyone to God, for all that pleases God is
to accord every soul salvation so that no man
perishes. This is the cross which you have to carry.
It depicts living in the spirit.
A Spiritual chorus affirms that “Olumba has
quenched the fire that was set by Satan.” But the

question is what does Olumba use to extinguish such
fire?
BEFORE THIS PERIOD, WHEN THE CHRIST'S
STUDENTS AND WITNESSES PROCLAIMED THE
FATHER AS THE SOLE SPIRITUAL HEAD, THE
ENTIRE BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR
WAS SORROWFUL, AND NONE DID SUPPORT THE
IDEA. PEOPLE EVEN VOWED NOT TO WORSHIP MAN
AT THE EXPENSE OF THE REAL JESUS CHRIST.
SOME MEMBERS EVEN MAINTAINED THAT FOR THE
CHRISTS' STUDENTS/ WITNESSES TO INDULGE IN
SUCH AN ACT, THEY COULD BEST BE ADDRESSED
AS REBELS.
But today what is the case? Have all tongues not
respectively sung His praise, and have all knees and
heads not bowed for His rulership alone? That is the
reason I have made them teachers for all members
of this kingdom. Matt 5:10 Blessed are they which
are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is
the kingdom of heaven.
The more you work for Him the more He works for
you. If all of you gathered here had surrendered in
totality to him, you would have been exalted the

more. But since you have chosen to be slack in your
services to God because of the shortcomings and
insults involved, God also turns His eyes off you and
you cannot see the light of day. An adage has it that
an axe cannot be put to rest if the tree has not fallen
down. It is the end that always justifies the means.
This is the motto for the Christ Students/Witnesses.
Be serious and relentless in serving Him for you shall
receive the reward for that.
I have to reveal this truth to you so that you may
change your attitude and go into this narrow gate
that leads to eternal life and glory. If a man rewards
you as you work for him, your compensation is
credited to your current account, which is only a
temporal account. But if God, per se, compensates
you for your good works and endurance, your
account is a fixed deposit account, permanent and
eternal account, and it has much to its credit. And
any amount credited to your fixed deposit account
never runs bankrupt.
This gospel is indeed a very powerful one, and I do
not doubt, because during every armed forces'
fellowship meeting with the Father, wonderful words
often gush out from the Father's mouth. As from now

all Brotherhood members should know that Christs
Students/Witnesses are the good soldiers of the
Father's spiritual army, as said in:
Revelation 17: 14: 14: These shall make war with
the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he
is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are
with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
THE INEVITABLE GATEWAY INTO GOD'S KINGDOM.
Apart from this avenue, there is no other gateway in
the kingdom of God. So there is no way in which this
could be avoided. Read the second lesson again.
SECOND BIBLE LESSON : EPHESIANS 6:5-8
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters
according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in
singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Not with eye
service, as men pleasers; but as the servants of
Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With
good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to
men: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man
doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord,
whether he be bond or free.

WHO SHALL LEAVE UNREWARDED?
Beloved, be you a Christ's Servant, Student/
Witness, Elder, Child of God, Crusader, Bishop,
Chorister etc, it does not matter. The truth is that
everyone is rewarded according to his works. So,
whoever accepts to endure all things and suffer
many things for God's sake stands rewarded
accordingly, while those who flee this hard time
which in essence prepare for us eternal glory in
future, cannot receive anything from the hands of
God. Look at how the parents of the Christ's
Witnesses/ Students have surrendered them for the
service of the Lord. Their blessings are uncountable.
Practical Students are those who fled from hard
times and so they lost their glory. They are
lamenting today and they pleaded to come back to
the students' group but the answer is a capital NO. If
everybody ran away when the fire was burning who
would have to stay and put out the fire? No one. You
are fighting to go back to the Christ Students
/Witnesses pew. I am telling you NO WAY. You are a
runaway soldier so leave my beloved alone.
Before this period, people used to advice those who
were newly initiated into Brotherhood of the Cross

and Star to accept appointment or election into any
pew apart from the Christ's students pew. The same
thing too happened to the children of God's pew.
But today, what is the case? Thousands and one are
anxiously longing to be elected into the said pews.
Many others also withdrew from the Christ
Students/Witness pew because of the perceived
punishments and deprivation. But today, they are
begging to be redeployed. This is why you are told in
a spiritual chorus, 'Never to relent in serving God.'
Many people today are prepared, ready and very
willing to deny themselves of wives, children and
many other material things of this world in order to
be able to serve God diligently and effectively. These
people have thus accepted this condition because of
their consciousness of the fact that a man is
rewarded according to his labor or works.
BROTHERHOOD BY EXAMPLE
Never wait to be served, rather, render the maximum
selfless services, you could to people for there is a
reward for that from God. There was a time that the
Father used to physically visit people in their
different homes, and by serving them in diverse ways

the Father rendered selfless services to these
brethren. This is what you have to emulate for it
constitutes Brotherhood by example which is the
order of the day in the kingdom today. The glory
derivable from this thing is universal, but it is not for
a particular group. Just adhere to what is being
imparted to you.
Our Lord Jesus Christ promised in John 16:7.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for
you that I go away: for if I go not away, the
Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I
will send him unto you .
Have you not seen the fulfilment of the above
promise today? The Comforter is here in our midst
hence we have a sense of direction in all the things
we do. It is true that Cross must always come before
crown so, suffer for now, for the time shall come
when all 'sufferings shall be over' and the over-
comers given a crown of life and glory. Whatever you
do there must but be reward at the end.
People do claim that they will only love those who
love them and their families, adding that they do not
anticipate any tribulation. But can they love all those

who love them and their families? There is no way
you can escape from tribulation for it is the stepping
stone to glory. Endure all things for it is only
through, tribulation that, you can see the glory of
God. The price one has to pay for eternal glory is
tribulation, and so take note.
TRIBULATION: THE STEPPING STONE TO ETERNAL
GLORY
This kingdom is addressed thus: Brotherhood of the
Cross and Star. Star here connotes glory which could
only be attained after much stay in the sufferings of
the Cross. Many Christ's Students did abandon their
mandate and fled because of the perceived suffering
and deprivation that prevailed in the pew. But today,
those who stood firm are rejoicing, for they have
graduated from cross to star. Those who fled are
desirous to come back but could they graduate into
glory without having much experience in the cross
stage? Although they are willing to come back, but
there is no room for them in the Pew.
Eternal suffering always awaits those who find it
difficult to work for God. But those who accept to
suffer for God's sake, believing that such suffering

reserves for them eternal glory in this life and in the
future life, never have problems in life. Their
transformation is always once and permanent.
There is no peace and glory for those who detest or
abhor tribulations. The transformation for those who
endure suffering is always once and permanent.
Again, there is no peace and glory for those who
detest or abhor tribulations. The people of the world
address the servants of God as refugees but do not
be perturbed at any allegation for the end shall
justify the means. In the case of the Christ`s
Students and Witnesses, people referred to them as
refugees, but today they are your 'teachers'. They
are the first fruits of this kingdom, believe it or not.
For the bible says:
Blessed are they which are persecuted for
righteousness' sake; for theirs is the kingdom of
heaven." ( Matt. 5:10)
Right from the beginning of time the servants of God
were frightened and their lives hunted for by people.
But today, the reverse is the case. All have beheld
this truth. Just hold firm to God, not minding the
difficulties involved, for He shall never let you down.

Just hold firm unto Him, not minding the difficulties
you encounter, for He shall never let you down. One
With God is a majority.
Read Romans 8:16-18.
The spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that
we are the children of God: And if children then heirs
of God.
THE YIELDING AFFLICTIONS:
It is not uncommon to see a man of God being
rejected and imprisoned. But for how long can these
hitches last? Can these sufferings be compared with
the glory that is to be revealed to us in future? The
glory that awaits all the servants of God is eternal.
So, the light tribulation which they suffer at present
is temporal.
Do not long to be made a pastor, chorister
child of God, Christ's, student etc. rather long to
suffer tribulation whole -heartedly. For in so doing,
your glory is great and there is a place exclusively
designed for you in heaven. Joyfully remain in
tribulation provided it is for God's sake, for your
reward in the hands of God is very great and

enormous. There is no suffering encountered by a
man of God for God's sake that is for naught.
Accordingly you shall be rewarded by God. So let us
accept to suffer for Him and be partakers of His
everlasting reward and glory. The way of God could
be likened to a woman under labor who at the time
of suffering labor pains will never have any interest
for her husband, due to the intensity of the labor
pains which she is undergoing because of her
husband. But immediately the labor is over, she
again needs her husband strongly. Nursing mothers
are always fond of their baby and their husband only
after labor. But when they encounter into intense
labor pains during delivery, they always regret the
beginnings of the procreation process. Similarly, the
circle of God's glory, especially while in the cross
stage is always very regrettable and detestable. But
once you graduate to the Star (Crown), your joy
becomes full.
Golden Text: Revelation 11:18
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come,
and the time of the dead, that they should be judged
and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy

servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them
that fear thy name, small and great, and shouldest
destroy them which destroy the earth.
THE YARDSTICK
Beloved, have you realized, that you are rewarded
according to your work? As many as accept to suffer
for Gods sake in diverse ways shall be blessed by
God accordingly, while those, who always revile God,
and desire not to serve Him shall be eliminated
completely from this earth. The scriptures enjoin
that you should store your wealth in heaven for the
wealth stored on earth are unprofitable and
transitory. It is a complete waste of time for one to
abandon God's services for the civil service and any
other form of trade for profit maximization.
If there are two people, one who decides to
leave God’s services to engage in worldly commerce,
while another decides to leave the worldly business
and engage in God’s services, here are the
consequences for each decision.
Whoever, abandons the services and trade of this
world and engages fully in the services of God and
accepts to suffer all the tribulations involved in

serving God stands rewarded bountifully by God in
the end.
The latter person cannot meet any loss in life but
eternal joy, glory, life, blessings and protection. But
the former person surely stands to regret in life. The
latter person never regrets, for after all, his
recompense is always from God.
Everything has been transformed in the world today
to suit God’s purposes. That is why you see those
who hitherto lived in affluence becoming poor, while
those who were wretched for God’s sake now live
happily in affluence.
It is the servant of the Lord who shall eternally
inherit every good blessing that abound in this
kingdom, at the expense of those who refuse to be
dedicated to God’s services, for the simple reason
that God’s services are too tedious and they entail
much suffering and relegation.
Do not think of investing your money and time in any
business of this world which you identify to be
lucrative. Instead, be dedicated to God and His
services. ALWAYS SEE GOD’S SERVICES AS BEING
PARAMOUNT IN YOUR LIFE, AND TOTALLY

DISREGARD THE DIFFICULTIES, RELEGATINGS,
INSULTS AND DEPRIVATIONS INVOLVED. IN SO
DOING, YOU WILL BE BOUNTIFULLY BLESSED AND
REWARDED BY GOD. IN FACT, YOU SHALL HAVE
ETERNAL LIFE.
YOU CANNOT REGRET IN LIFE FOR VERY
DILIGENTLY DEDICATING YOURSELF TO GOD, BUT
IF YOU SHUN GOD’S SERVICES AND YOU EMBRACE
OTHER WORLDLY AND MUNDANE MATTERS, YOU
HAVE FAILED AND YOU CANNOT SEE THE LIGHT OF
GOD SHINING IN YOU. Beloved, it is said that a
stroke of the cane is sufficient unto the wise. Let he
who has ears hear. May God bless His Holy Word.
