3. FUNERALS
FATHER'S INSTRUCTIONS:
In Brotherhood of the Cross and Star we believe that only
the Father can give and also take life. Our Lord Jesus Christ
was assigned to subdue death and Hades, and collect its
keys; and so for us death exists no more. Our Lord Jesus
Christ is the King of kings and Lord over all planes of
manifest, including heaven and earth. We believe that Our
Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, and God caused Him to
resurrect; and so we do not cry, mourn or lament. Hence if
our member passes away, we simply give thanks to the
Father and conduct a very simple burial, beginning with a
quiet burial of the dead body.
FATHER'S INSTRUCTIONS: Once you have been baptized,
you become one with God and you have been made clean
and therefore you should have nothing to do with drink and
corpse. READ NUMBERS 6:1-8
THERE IS NO NEED TO TAKE CORPSES INTO A CHURCH
BUILDING: The practice of the world is that when somebody
dies you put the corpse inside a coffin, and place it at the
alter of the church, and you say that it is coming to receive
blessing. SHOW ME WHERE THAT TYPE OF LESSON IS
DERIVED FROM THE BIBLE? Do you not see what is
practiced in your forefather's churches. When somebody
dies they ring the bell intermittently until the body is placed
at the altar. That chapter in Numbers has specifically told
you that such a thing should not be done, you should not

4. touch dead bodies, especially now that God has come down
to dwell with men. Why should you carry dead bodies into
the church? THERE IS NO NEED TO TAKE A DEAD BODY
INSIDE THE CHURCH.
WHO WILL HANDLE THE CORPSE: All persons have their
different assignments. All men, women, children, and all
classes of people have their different functions to perform.
AND THE CHILDREN OF GOD TOO HAVE THEIR DUTY TO
PERFORM. For example, when Mary sent word to Our Lord
Jesus Christ about the death of His earthly father, Joseph,
Christ simply said that Joseph had finished his assignment,
and so He continued to preach the Gospel. He did not
abandon the preaching to go and bury Joseph. When John
the Baptist was decapitated in prison his followers informed
our Lord Jesus Christ who still continued with his preaching
while the followers of John quietly buried him in the prison
yard without any fanfare.
And so let the dead bury the dead, but you should go and
preach the glory of God. When Our Lord Jesus Christ died
His disciples ran away. Joseph of Arimathia requested the
body, and laid it quietly in a sepulcher hewn in stone. He did
not take the dead body inside any church building.
Therefore, when somebody dies the corpse should be
promptly returned to the dust to lighten the burden on the
survivors. Why should corpses be kept for long periods of
time in the mortuary? IT IS EVIL AND UNRIGHTEOUS TO
PUT A DEAD BODY IN THE MORTUARY. It is an indirect way
Satan uses to deplete your resources. Does it mean that the
corpse, when it is frozen for so long, will return to life?

5. BROTHERHOOD MAKES THE WHOLE FUNERAL SIMPLE: IF A
PERSON SLEEPS IN THE LORD, EMPTY THE CASE. THE
CORPSE IS QUIETLY DISPOSED OF BY BURYING IT IN THE
GROUND WITHOUT ANY FANFARE. WHAT FOLLOWS IS TO
CONDUCT EVENING SERVICES IN THE DECEASED PERSON'S
COMPOUND FOR SEVEN DAYS; AND THAT IS ALL.
This is so because we know fully well that the main being in
the person has left the abode, and so there is no justification
in incurring any expenses just to dispose of an empty case.
It is only demented and foolish people who can afford to
engage in such an exercise of spending for a corpse.
WHATEVER YOU SPEND FOR THE CORPSE IS LOST, AND
YOU WILL SUFFER A GREAT DEAL BECAUSE SUCH AN ACT
IS NOT PERMITTED BY GOD. If you spend onward of twenty
thousand for a coffin alone, just to dispose of a corpse, does
it mean that you have not seen beggars and the poor that
you could use the money to help? What is the wisdom in
doing such a thing? If the worldly people could do such
foolish acts, should people who call themselves children of
the New Kingdom, do it too?
FATHER CONSOLES: You need to see Father help and

THE FIRST AND SECOND DEATH: BAPTISM
SIGNIFICANCE OF BAPTISM:
The moment you accept to be immersed in water in the
name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit, you have
died and resurrected with Our Lord Jesus Christ and you
have become one with the Lord. Therefore from that time
onwards death has no dominion over you again. If Our Lord
Jesus Christ had not been baptized, he would not have
overcome death. Whoever dies and resurrects with Our Lord
Jesus Christ has no problem.

7. It is written in Romans 6: 2-11 that how shall we who are
dead to sin continue to live in sin. We have been baptized in
Our Lord and we have taken part in His death. Therefore we
are buried with Him through baptism into death. Having been
raised with Him from death into God’s glory, we are equally
made new. (See Romans 6:2-11). It is for this reason that Our
Lord Jesus Christ advised that you should not fear that
which can destroy the body but cannot kill the soul, but you
should rather fear that which can destroy both the body and
soul and cast both into hell fire.
On this note Our Lord Jesus marched triumphantly into
Jerusalem in spite of all the odds that awaited Him there
because he feared not that which could destroy only the
flesh and not the soul. He offered Himself ransom for as
many as would believe in Him. All those who follow after His
footprints shall triumph. It is not a matter of belonging to the
Christendom or any class or group distinction. It is a matter
of endeavoring to manifest the glory and kingdom of God.
DO NOT REST ON YOUR OARS
Our Lord Jesus Christ charged His disciples to let the dead
bury the dead but they should go and preach the gospel of
the kingdom. YOU ARE NOT OF THE WORLD AND YOU
SHOULD NOT TAKE PLEASURE IN THINGS OF THE WORLD
AND OTHER WORLDLY OBSERVANCES. Our Lord Jesus
Christ said, “I would not that ye be without knowledge as
unbelievers.” It is necessary that you believe that the Lord
was crucified and that His resurrection has brought us

8. salvation. All those who have been baptized into Christ have
triumphed over death. IT IS THE HEIGHT OF INSANITY AND
IGNORANCE FOR ANY MEMBER OF BROTHERHOOD TO
KEEP A MOURNING HOUSE, KEEP VIGIL AND LAMENT OVER
THE DEATH OF A RELATION.
THE FIRST FRUIT:
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the first fruit who is the source of
our inspiration. We are the manifestation of the group which
had prepared themselves in wait for Him. This is why it is
said that he who believes and is baptized shall be saved.
Whoever does not believe shall perish. The children of this
kingdom are the children of the Resurrection. Baptism into
Christ bestows unto you the right of sonship and draws you
out of iniquity. HIS RESURRECTION HAS BROUGHT US
ETERNAL LIFE. Your rights as sons and daughters of God is
NOT bestowed upon you because of your handiwork,
righteousness or goodness but through the resurrection of
the Lord and His grace.

9. LIFE AFTER DEATH
EVERLASTING JOY FOR BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS
AND STAR MEMBERS IN THE WORLD BEYOND.
The joy that prevails in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is
now seen by all, hence you see many people trouping into
the kingdom to share in this bliss. The testimony given by
Brother Oja about a certain woman, (a member of the
Presbyterian church) who took ill and deliberately refused to
be taken to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. But she
accepted to be taken to the hospital for treatment. While in
the hospital, she started to respond to treatment, and she
was discharged to go home to convalesce. When she was
home convalescing the sickness began again. She was
taken back to the hospital for treatment and while she was
on readmission to the hospital she felt well and so she
recovered, but as she was taken home for the second time
she took ill again. At this point she demanded to be taken to
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star but her people rejected
the idea. And so she died, and a coffin was bought for her
but she came back to life before being put into the coffin for
burial. When she resurrected, she summoned all her people
and other attendants and told them that the extent to which
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star members are rejoicing in
the world beyond was very marvelous. She added that only
the members of Brotherhood had such joy while all others

10. did not have. And that the non-Brotherhood of the Cross and
Star people were in untold hardship.
Everybody has realized that Brotherhood of the Cross and
Star is the luckiest set of people in the world. That is why
you see people accepting baptism into the kingdom without
being preached to. Now the Brotherhood of the Cross and
Star which people hitherto rejected is now being embraced
by all. This happens as a result of the assistance people
want from Brotherhood in the form of their salvation.
Therefore if one thing or the other deprives you of the bliss
of God , you should blame yourself for it.
There is much joy in the world beyond for the Brotherhood of
the Cross and Star members. There is also much suffering in
the world beyond for non-members. The joy and suffering
that abound in the world beyond are great compared to what
is obtainable in the physical world. That is why I often pity
those of you who weep when a sister or any close relation is
sent on transfer, (that is dies). In fact, there is no death and
suffering in Brotherhood, all that abound in Brotherhood is
everlasting joy. Many people scoff at the injunction of God
which forbid the eating of animal flesh. A brother in Rivers
State Port Harcourt once testified that he saw in the
spiritual world how a great storm blew down human being.
What he deduced after a lot of findings was that those pulled
down by the storm were those who eat fish and meat. God
reveals many mysteries of life to you because of his

11. boundless love for mankind. He reveals all these hidden
things to you so that you can get set for the kingdom of God.
Get set to purge yourself of every sinful act and consecrate
yourself to God.
The Holy Spirit does not reveal these things to you so that
you may put on expensive clothes, drive luxurious cars and
live in magnificent houses etc. Do those who had accounts
in foreign banks now have their money which was frozen
sometime ago? The reason to freeze the accounts of
Nigerians abroad was not far-fetched. They knew that they
had no money and so they decided to make use of the
money of the Africans. This proves that among all the
nations of the world, none is as peaceful as Nigeria.

12. I am debtor both to the Greeks and to the Barbarians; both
to the wise, and to the unwise.
THE REIGN OF TRUTH:
Do you understand the language therein? Many people are
curious to know the latest from the Father. It is expedient
that you should take these glad tidings to the world. Go and
tell them about the love, oneness, truth and patience
exhibited by the Father in the kingdom. Tell the people that
the truth has come and so they should refrain from idolatry,
medication, fornication, hatred, tribalism and other vices.
Whether the world listens to this message or not, it should
not deter you from spreading the good news. You should
continue to preach to them. You have been asked to do your
own part of the duty and allow God to do His. That is your
indebtedness to the world.
It is about 2,000 years now since our Lord Jesus Christ
physically departed this world. IS IT NOT FOOLISH FOR
PEOPLE TO CONTINUE TO GAZE INTO THE SKY EXPECTING
HIS ARRIVAL FROM THE SKY? WHEN ELIJAH HAD
ASCENDED INTO THE HEAVEN, IT DID NOT TAKE A
LONGTIME BEFORE JOHN THE BAPTIST EMERGED. PEOPLE
KEEP ON COMING AND GOING AWAY.
THE RETURN OF CHRIST
Therefore, there are many who do not believe in
reincarnation. But our Lord Jesus Christ assured that He

13. would go away but would come back to take you to Himself.
Is He not here with men on earth now? Is He not the one
responsible for every work in this kingdom? Why then are
people expecting Him to fly down from the sky? He said
that, it was the Father who sent Him and to Him (the Father)
was He going. Now, where does God Himself go? On another
occasion, He declared that He and His Father are one. The
Father is a spirit and Christ Himself is a spirit and both of
them are the word. They are the truth, and had never left
any man comfortless. They abide in us always. I spend
endless hours preaching to you so that you may understand.
Today, you still doubt Him and you are ignorant of His
ability. You are still telling lies, getting angry, stealing and
killing one another. This is the time for all men to practice
the word of God.
For those of you who are proud because your parents are in
the world, you should by now realize that you are holding a
false belief. When you claim that a person is dead, you
should know that, that is when his spirit changes its abode
and is later born into the world. This fact has been variously
proved in many communities and cities. For instance,
certain people who had scalding marks on their bodies were
later born with such marks to prove to the world that they
have reincarnated. Many of you have reincarnated up to five
times or more.
Some of you will weep and refuse to be consoled when your
dear ones departs the old flesh. Sometimes you want to kill

14. yourself in order to join them in the hades. What do you
mean by hades? Where is such a place located? I have told
you time without number that there is nothing called death.
We are still the same old people reincarnated. What normally
takes place is the destruction of the defiled body and the
introduction of the Spirit into a new self, another abode. It is
a complete change of the person into a new being. That
phenomenon you call sickness is not what you term, it
rather, it is a medium through which your body undergoes
reconstruction.
THERE IS NO DEATH
You will seem be in the know about any hidden things of this
world. A sister once testified here that she was married at
Ika-Annang and had three children. She had a prayer house
and was well vested with power and she was also a talented
midwife. Having done this for a long time, the village
demanded that she should give them a goat and other things
and she refused. And consequently on this, she was
transferred to the great beyond. After sometime she was
born at Uruan in Uyo to another person. She grew up and
was married again. She gave birth to six children. At Uruan,
she had a vision that she was formerly married to Ika-
Annang, Etim Ekpo and that her three children are still there,
alive, though they are grown up and have grown up children.
She visited Ika-Annang and saw her children and was able to
recognise her compound and the tree she had planted before
she died.

15. When Our Lord Jesus Christ whipped the people out of the
temple and told them that His Father's House should not be
used as a market, they questioned Him about the signs to
prove that He is the Son of God. In reply, Christ asked them
to pull down the temple and that within three days, He
would rebuild it. The people did not understand Him. HE WAS
MERELY REFERRING TO HIMSELF, THAT HE WOULD DIE
AND RESURRECT ON THE THIRD DAY TO LIVE THEREAFTER
FOREVER. HE IS A SPIRIT AND LIVES ETERNALLY. HE LIVES
ON AND CONTINUES TO INTERACT WITH MEN.
This is to prove to you that there is no, death. What you call
death is a mere transfer to a new body. This transfer does
not take you out of this world, you still stay and belong here,
the market, school, churches you go to are not attended by
you alone, others whom you regard as having died do attend
these places too. If a man is transferred to another body, the
former body is buried. That which you originally had was the
dust of the earth and it will definitely return to this earth and
become manure, while the soul remains the same. Dust goes
back to dust while the spirit remains the spirit.
At times, you complain why a woman does not give birth to a
child. This is so because the spirit is yet to go into her. The
moment the spirit, is transferred into her, she will
immediately become pregnant and eventually give birth to a
baby.
Without these transfers, there would be no child bearing in
the world. There are very many things you have

16. misinterpreted in the world. The things you sow need
manure to grow, and without these things growing and
becoming manure once again for other plants to grow, there
would be no food.
There is nothing in this world. God is everything. You may
say you have no brother, He will come into you and dwell
therein, and become everything for you.
Do not boast about what you have and do not have hope in
another person. Do not say somebody loves you because
only God loves you. It baffles me what you term man to be.
Man is nothing, why then do you despise God and believe
and have hope in man.
You cannot help yourself except God helps you. God has
promised never to leave you comfortless, and had not left
you comfortless.
A stroke of the cane is enough for the wise. May God bless

DEATH
It is worthy of note, in the first place, that there is
nothing called death; it does not exist, no person dies. The
right thing to say is that the one has gone on transfer. That
person said to be dead is very much around and going about
his business. It is against this background that I continue to
tell you that I have a plan. If you read the book I AM THAT I
AM, you will realize the first vision that Prophetess Otom
had, and the information indicating the mission of the
Father. I would like somebody who has a copy of the book
handy to read out the portion on the revelation. Part of the
revelation says that a multitude of people were seen clad in
white robes and various other colored garments, and they
spoke in different tongues. In addition, it also revealed a
warning to mankind to refrain from stealing, telling of lies,
drinking, polygamy, prostitution and other vices. You can
now see that when the three O's were revealed the Holy
Father had not been physically born into the world and the
word of God had not arrived in this part of the world. That is
why I have been telling you that the name, THE SOLE
SPIRITUAL HEAD, has a deeper meaning than you conceive
of it. I EXIST IN SPIRIT AND NOT IN FLESH.
In line with the revelation, today the Father is the One who
directs you on what to do, He guides you. He cures your

18. sickness and raises the dead. When the revelation came,
does it mean that I was existing in the flesh? All the works
you are witnessing today, who do you think is responsible
for them? Is it the flesh or spirit that does the work here?
Why then do you not have implicit faith in the spirit but
instead you seek after carnal things? People who continue
to await the time the Leader will die, does it mean that
when the revelation was given by the prophetess the Leader
was not in existence?
You can now realize that the flesh is a visitor or a
stranger, but the spirit is the owner of the house. The
former is a temporary building while the latter is a
permanent and concrete building. That is the reason I
continue to tell you that you do not know what Brotherhood
is, because if you knew, you would rejoice immensely
because Brotherhood has come to endure forever and ever.
Is there any time the wearers of the white garment will
cease to exist or when the three O's will disappear?
Therefore, what I have come to teach you is love, faith,
patience, meekness, endurance, mercy, peace and all the
good virtues. I have nothing to do at all with anything sinful.
