Operator” in Chashma Nuclear Power Plant (320 MWe).

October 2009 to Present working as a “Senior Power Plant
Operator” in Karachi Nuclear Power Plant (137 MWe).
 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
I responsible and perform duty on following:-
• STEAM TURBINE
1. Perform Duty on T/G, taken all readings and check all Turbine
supervisory instruments.
2. Perform daily Routine and Call-up cards to check its measure.
3. Operate and Monitor all Auxiliaries System of T/G during Running
and Start–up (Turbine Lube Oil, Barring Gear, Gland Steam,
Generator Cooling & Seal Oil Systems).
• CONTROL ROOM
1. Monitor all system parameters in Control Room and take readings.
2. Acknowledge alarms and taken corrective action accordingly.

3. 3. Feed all Control Room logs and technical data and take printout of
different process and analysis the system behavior.
• AUXILIARIES AND CONVENTIONAL
Operate and monitor all Auxiliary side system like:
1. Boiler Feed Water Pumps.
2. Condensate Water Pumps.
3. Pump House Operation.
4. Compressor.
5. Ejectors.
• Heating & Cooling Ventilation System:
1. Operate and monitor all Heating & Cooling air supply units.
2. Operate and monitor all Exhaust air units.
3. Chillers.
• Diesel Generator:
Perform duty on 1200 KWe Diesel Generator.
1. Perform standing routine checks.
2. Start-up, Synchronization and loading of the Diesel Generator.
3. Unloaded and shutdown of the Diesel Generator.
4. Monitor different parameters and take corrective action during operation
of Diesel Generator.
5. To take complete reading set.
• Water Treatment Plant & Chemical
Handling:
1. Operate Water Treatment Plant, Taken into service and out of service
when exhausted and regeneration for next operation.

4. 2. Handling and Monitoring of Chemical feed water system and
Condensation water system (Hydrazine, Trisodium Phosphate and
Morpholine).
3. Handling of different chemical use in plant like NaOH, H2SO4, HCL,
H2CO2, He and others.
• Reverse Osmosis & Multi Effect
(MED) Desalination Plants:
Perform duty on Reverse Osmosis & MED Plant.
1. Taken into service & Out of service of Plant.
2. Monitor all parameters reading and take corrective action accordingly.
3. Perform routine checks & Call-up Cards.
