3. Even though Anthony is filled with rage and hatred, he manages
his impression as a likable and respected lawyer among his
social circle.
4. The level of cognitive dissonance is high as Anthony’s main principle in life is
that he is very against people getting hurt. His actions of torturing and
murdering lawyers contradict with these beliefs. The idea that killing lawyers
to prevent more people from getting cheated and hurt becomes a consonant
element to reduce the degree of dissonance.
5. Anthony believes that all lawyers are the same
and evil because of one lawyer that he met.
6. Anthony believes that bad things happen to bad people, and the
lawyers he murder deserve what they got for ruining the lives of
others.
7. INTRINSIC MOTIVATION
Another reason why Anthony does all these is because he
actually does enjoy it. It motivates him to murder more lawyers.
