Project Title : Global M-VAS Products
Project Details : Onmobile Global LTD. is India’s largest value-added service (VAS)
company. Some of them are Ring back tones, cricket and football alerts, voice portals
(IVR) and missed call alerts etc. Having a wide spread network around 150+ countries
and more than 90+ domestic and international operators with 3500+ servers.
ROLE &RESPONSIBILITES
 Installation of Linux Operating System and patches on to development
application software.
 Monitoring Load Average,Memory Utilization for all Linux servers on a daily
basis.
 Monitoring CPU usage, Disk free of the production server and maintaining
records at regular intervals
 L1 support for all the 3500+ servers , Controlling and changing system
hostname .
 Creating Users and Groups with special permissions
 Collaborate with the team members and provide technical updates regularly
 Scheduling automatic Jobs through Crontab.
 Performing System Backup & Restore Using tar, gzip commands
 Root Cause & System Log Analysis and reporting , organize tasks ,events
