4. UiPath.Core.Activities.LookupDataTable`
⢠Allows us to perform search for a provided value in a specified data
table and return value which is required such as Cell Value or Row
Index.
⢠Pre Requisites:
1. Package UiPath.System.Activities must be installed.
2. Works on UiPath starting from v2018.2 and above only.
5. Lookup DataTable
⢠Properties:
⢠Input
1. DataTable:
⢠The DataTable variable on which we have to perform the Vlookup.
⢠Only DataTable variables are supported in this field.
2. Lookup Value:
⢠The value we have to search for in the specified DataTable variable.
⢠Only String variables are supported in this field.
6. Lookup Data Table
⢠Properties:
⢠Output
1. Cell Value:
⢠The value found in cell that has Row co-ordinates specified in
row index property and column co-ordinates specified in
Target Column property.
2. Row Index:
⢠The row index of the found cell, stored in an Integer variable.
⢠Only Integer variables are supported in this field.
7. Lookup DataTable
⢠Properties:
⢠Lookup Column
1. Column- The variable containing column you want to search for.
2. Column Index- The index of column you want to search for.
3. Column Name-The name of column you want to search for.
⢠Target Column
1. Column- Returns value of cell found corresponding to row index.
2. Column Index-Returns value of cell found corresponding to row
index.
3. Column Name-Returns value of cell found corresponding to row
index.
8. Lookup DataTable Exceptions
1. Setting a variable in one of the three properties in the
Lookup Column or the target column, will disable the other
properties automatically.
2. The output variable must always be kept Generic as we may
face exceptions.
10. UiPath 2019.7 Debugging features
⢠New features added for debugging in version 2019.7:
1. Watch Panel
2. Run to feature
3. Step out
4. Enhanced Breakpoints
5. Tracepoints
21. Breakpoint Settings
â˘Condition- The condition for the breakpoint.
â˘If the condition is met during debugging, the
execution breaks and the activity is highlightedâ
â˘Hit Count- if the bot is working in a loop, and we
want to stop it at a certain iteration, we can apply
the number of iteration in hit count field.
â˘Log message-Enter a message which will be
logged when breakpoint occurs.
â˘
22. Conditional Breakpoint
â˘Conditional breakpoints
are breakpoints that depend on
a set condition and/or a hit count.
â˘We need to populate the following
2 fields in the Breakpoint settings:â
1.Conditionâ
2.Hit Countâ
24. Tracepoints and Conditional Tracepoints
â˘Tracepoints are breakpoints
with set logged messages.
â˘When the tracepoint is
reached during debugging, the
message is logged at trace
level.
â˘If we insert any condition in
the condition field, it becomes
a Conditional Tracepoint.â
