Architecture
The beautifully proportioned façade presents a classical
interpretation, featuring traditional handmade red brick
elevations with traditional timber sash windows and a
central white pillared portico entrance. The rear of the
house has been tastefully extended to remain in keeping
with the house design. Stone cast bays compliment the
coping and parapet whilst the twin vaulted glass skylights
allow maximum daylight to flood into the house.
The ground level is characterised by six sets of double
opening doors with French windows on either side.
The pleasing geometry of the ground level is echoed
above at first floor with hardwood weighted sliding sash
windows.
Both front and rear elevations of the house are framed
with a stone cast course and matching window dressings.
Foxgloves enjoys just over half an acre of fastidiously landscaped grounds offering fantastic levels of
privacy and seclusion. The rear garden features a stunning natural Indian sand stone terrace which
leads to the beautifully kept lawn flanked with boarder planting. These are serviced by an automatic
irrigation system which covers the entire plot. Beyond the lawn sits the childrens’ play area, which
includes swings, slides and trampoline, built on natural play bark. Strategically illuminated feature
lighting creates an incredible effect at night and allows outside enjoyment late into the evening.
