4. Anleitung
Cut the potatoes into 5-10mm thick strips. We prefer not to peel the potatoes
here.
Rinse the fries under cold running water until only clear water comes out.
Then place the fries in ice water in the fridge for 3 hours.
Dust the fries with cornflour for an even crispier coating. However, the fries
should be thoroughly shaken off again before frying to get rid of excess flour.
Heat the peanut oil to 165°C and deep-fry the fries for about 5-7 minutes.
Filter your oil beforehand with the VITO frying oil filter to extend the life and
ensure the high quality of the oil.
Let your fries drain thoroughly after frying. To do this, it is best to place a
piece of kitchen towel in a large bowl and place the hot fries on it.
Now you can season the fries with ground sea salt or fleur de sel. Finely
chopped parsley also looks good on your self-made fries!
