Join an affordable 4-Day Tanzania Shared Group Safari; this short safari program will take you to explore Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park After breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park. You will have lunch and a game drive there in the park. The park derived its name from the Tarangire River which rises in the highlands of Central Tanzania and winds its way through the game sanctuary. The animals come by thousands from as far north as the shores of Lake Natron to the bank of this river, significantly swelling the resident population with wildebeest, zebra, eland, elephant, hartebeest, buffalo, and fringe-eared Oryx. During the dry season, the Tarangire pools are full of thirsty migrants, and the elephants begin to dig for underground streams in the dry riverbed. Tarangire National Park is said to have the highest number of breeding bird species for any habitat in the world. Dinner and overnight will be at the Tarangire public campsite. Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park After breakfast, you’re off to the famous Serengeti National Park, home of the Great Migration. Your drive today is spectacular as you drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for a birds-eye view of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Continuing on as you crest the hillside, spread out before you as far as the eyes can see, is the vast Serengeti. Large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey that migrates throughout the park. On the way into the Serengeti, you will stop at the famous Olduvai Gorge, where Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey made their discovery of the first man that walked the earth. After enjoying lunch, you will drive to a Maasai Culture Boma visit to learn about this tribe before you depart on an evening game drive in the Seronera. Dinner and overnight will be at the campsite area. Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Today you will wake up very early to do an early morning game drive before breakfast to spot the animals when they are more active and to have a fantastic sunrise in front of you. The sunrise in the African Savannah is one of the most beautiful experiences ever. After the game drive, return to the camp for brunch, in the afternoon, and transfer to Ngorongoro, the 8th natural wonder of the world. The crater is a virtual Noah’s Ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusks, due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. DAY 1: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and have a straight drive to Tarangire
National park with a picnic lunch proceeding with a game drive in the middle of the park
expect to observe herds of Elephants 10-20 and sometimes up to 30, while on a game drive
do not forget to throw your eyes on top of trees as you might spot a Leopard but you may
also see buffalo, Impala, zebras, warthogs, giraffe and many more the park will offer you
explore the park till late evening drive to KIZUMBA Campsite for dinner and overnight
DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast and park, all the camping equipment in the safari vehicle boarding in the
safari leave the camp to Serengeti via Manyara through rift valley escapements towards the
Serengeti National Park Today you have an optional of visiting the Masai village on your way
to Serengeti, reaching Serengeti by the evening having your evening game drive towards
Nyani Campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Early morning 6 am weak up and after a hot cup of coffee or tea, leave the camp for
morning game viewing to the heart of Serengeti national park while enjoying the Morning
beautiful sun rises though it's going To be a bit chill in the morning don't forget your warm
clothes, get on with the game drive till on the mid-day drive back to camp for full breakfast
and Lunch which means a Branch, Then later leave the camp for Ngorongoro Conservation
area while you are having a game drive en route towards Ngorongoro Simba Camp dinner
and overnight.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast has a picnic lunch with you a short drive to descending gate and drive down
the crater floor 650 meters deep for a half-game crater tour if one is lucky can see
rhinoceros but the crater has a number of permanent residents animals as the crater has
permanent water throughout the year therefore many of the animals prefer to stay though
they are free to come in or move out the crater After lunch ascends on the crater rim back
to camp pick up the camping staph and the drive back to Peace Hotel in Arusha / Airport for
a flight back home.
