Did You Know the Senate Majority proposed 2010-11 budget include $4 million
for operation SNUG (A member item program)? In 2009, Senator Smith awarded
the first $500,000 of SNUG funding to Brothers Lance and Todd Feurtado who

Did You Know the Assembly Majority has proposed a new energy tax? Last year
the majority legislative leaders and the Governor increased a little know energy
assessment to $695 million. The Assembly this year has proposed to charge
sales and use taxes that would cost US $57 million more this year.
Did You Know the Assembly Majority has proposed to reject the dedication of 29
staff for regulatory activity related to the Marcellus Shale? This will mean that it
will be even longer before the State of New York has access to a growing supply
of domestic clean natural gas.
Did You Know the Assembly Majority has proposed to apply sales tax on printing
of materials that are used for advertising purposes? If this were to become law,
many small print shops would move operations out of the State.
