Dear Taxpayer: I was the first Legislative Leader to speak out against the Thruway Authority’s proposed 45% toll hike on trucks and said it would hurt trucking businesses, drive up prices for consumers and send a message that New York isn’t open for business. Make no mistake: a 45% Thruway toll hike will damage New York’s economy and cost jobs. We can STOP the proposed 45% Thruway toll hike on trucks if we stand up, speak out and raise our voices. Here are 3 things you can do to put the brakes on this toll hike:
