Best iPhone Series
iPhone 6s
Introduction
Apple releases a new iPhone each year and it’s always the best iPhone Apple has ever
made. The company switched up its game plan a bit in 2014 and released the same
phone in two different sizes, so now the title of “best iPhone ever” is shared by two
devices at a time.
It’s that time of year again. Once a year at least one new iPhone model comes out and I
upgrade to the new model. Ever since the iPhone 3GS Apple has done an incremental
update to the iPhone before the next major update. So, we’ve had the iPhone 3GS,
iPhone 4s, iPhone 5s and now iPhone 6s. Sure we can probably expect and iPhone 7
next year, but the question becomes do you wait or do you upgrade to the 6s or 6s Plus.
As usual it really depends on what you have now. If you’re on an older model such as the
iPhone 5s or older then the iPhone 6s is a monumental upgrade. If you upgraded to the
iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus last year and you’re under a contract then you can probably
sit this one out.
What’s New and What’s Cool
It’s funny when I read comments online proclaiming the iPhone 6s to be EXACTLY the
same as the iPhone 6. In other words, they claim that there are NO DIFFERENCES.
Really? I’m not sure if these are just haters or really uninformed people. While the
iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus look pretty much identical to last year’s models, there are
significant changes under the hood. Like I said above Apple typically doesn’t change
form factor for two models. Look back at the iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPhone 5 and iPhone
6. Each one was a significant change in form factor. The “s” models are usual changes
all on the inside. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are no different. While they look just
like last year’s models there are some great changes on the inside. iPhone 6s is very
fast mobile. Here are a few:
First Impression
The first thing that I noticed about the iPhone 6s Plus is its weight. It is for sure heavier
than the iPhone 6 Plus though the difference might be insignificant. And it is also
among the heavier phones I have used. The design is not very different from the iPhone
6, though Apple claims to have used better material and aircraft grade aluminum. The
phone also feels a bit thicker than its predecessor. iPhone 6s is very beautiful mobile.
iPhone 6s is very fast mobile.
3D Touch
This is for sure the cutting edge feature, the one everyone is looking forward to in the
new iPhones. My first take is that it does take some getting used to. Actually, the first
press goes against your natural inclination which is to not put too much stress on
anything made of glass. But you have to press and press real hard. To use an analogy
that will find takers among my Malayali brethren and Bengali friends, it is almost the
same pressure you exert to figure out if that fish lying on the bed of ice is fresh. iPhone
6s is very expensive mobile.

iPhone 7
Introduction
The iPhone 7 wasn’t a giant leap in design from the previous generation iPhone 6S.
Instead, it was more of evolution. The design received minor tweaks, like a more
streamlined hump around the camera lens and an entirely new color/finish: Jet Black.
Easily one of the rarest iPhone colors, the Jet Black option was discontinued the
following year (likely because it was prone to scratches). Other iPhone 7 colors include
silver, gold, rose gold, and matte black. iPhone 7 is very powerful mobile.
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus also feature stereo speakers, which push sound out the bottom
of the phone and through the earpiece. Although the stereo effect is a little unbalanced
(the bottom speaker is a bit louder), it does help with overall volume, delivering more
sound to your ears, which is a welcomed plus.
iPhone 7 water resistance
The iPhone 7 feel solid, arguably more solid than the previous generation iPhone 6S.
This may have something to do with the fact that the phone is now water-resistant, with
IP67 water and dust resistance rating. That means the iPhone 7 can last up to 30
minutes fully submerged in 3 feet of water. This doesn’t make the phone waterproof,
however, so you shouldn’t take the iPhone 7 with you into the pool. The IP67 rating is
merely a little extra protection to survive drops in the toilet and the like. iPhone 7 is very
beautiful mobile.
iPhone 7 Specifications
When Apple released the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus the main purchase decision was the size.
If you wanted a bigger phone with a bigger display, you went with the Plus model. But
otherwise, the regular-sized iPhone 7 was the model to go with.
● 4.7-inch Retina HD display
● Home button with Touch ID
● Apple A10 Fusion chip
● 2GB of RAM
● 32GB, 128GB or 256GB of storage
● 1960 mAh battery
● IP67 (Maximum depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes)
● 4G LTE cellular
● WiFi 802.11ac
● Bluetooth 4.2
● GPS/GNSS
● Front camera: 7MP FaceTime HD
● Rear camera: Single 12MP wide
The iPhone 7 featured a new static (capacitive) home button, which was a change from
the physical home button on the previous years iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Notably, the
iPhone 7 was the first iPhone to ship without a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apple included
a set of EarPods with Lightning Connector headphones in the box, but otherwise, a
dongle is needed if you want to use a set of standard 3.5mm headphones. The iPhone 7
also supports VoLTE (voice over LTE), WiFi calling, and has NFC with support for Apple
Pay. iPhone 7 is very best mobile for ever.
What size is the iPhone 7 display?
The iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with a resolution of 1334 x 750. Other key
display highlights include the following:
● 326 ppi
● 1400 1 contrast ratio
● Wide color display (P3)
● 625 nits max brightness (typical)
If you look at iPhone 7 you’ll notice that it looks a bit different as compared to newer
models of the iPhone. The display on the iPhone 7 isn’t edge-to-edge like newer models
of the iPhone, which is due to the capacitive home button that is centered just under the
display.
iPhone Battery Life
The iPhone 7 features a 1,960 mAh battery, and the phone is charged using a Lightning
cable. Unfortunately, wireless charging was not available on the iPhone 7. Support for Qi
wireless charging arrived on the iPhone a year later, in 2017, with the introduction of the
iPhone 8.
Apple rates the iPhone 7 battery as being able to provide up to 13 hours of video
playback and up to 40 hours of audio playback. Of course, it is important to keep in
mind that these estimates are based on a new iPhone. Rechargeable batteries, including
the lithium-ion battery found in the iPhone 7 are subject to degrade over time due to
regular usage and the number of charge cycles.
Is the iPhone 7 worth in 2022?
Yes the iPhone 7 is worth buying in 2022. Plenty of people are looking for smaller
phones, and for a phone that uses Touch ID instead of Face ID, which are two positive
points for the iPhone 7. Not to mention, the iPhone 7 is still getting iOS software
updates from Apple.
iPhone 7 Plus
iPhone 7 Plus release date
The iPhone 7 Plus was originally released in September 2016, alongside the much
smaller iPhone 7. Both phones were officially discontinued by Apple in 2019 with the
release of the iPhone 11. iPhone 7 Plus have many features.
Despite no longer being offered at the Apple Store, the iPhone 7 Plus is still supported
by Apple, meaning it receives regular security updates and is currently running the latest
version of iOS.
iPhone 7 Plus spaces
Overall, the design of the iPhone 7 Plus wasn’t a big change from the previous
generation iPhone 6S Plus, but more of a refinement. Today, the iPhone 7 Plus does look
a bit dated. Newer models like the iPhone XS have significantly larger screen sizes while
carrying a smaller footprint to boot.
When compared to the regular iPhone 7, the iPhone 7 Plus is obviously the bigger of the
two models, but there are more “pluses” than just the overall size. The 7 Plus has extra
bonus specs like a larger battery, higher resolution display, and an extra camera lens for
Portrait mode shots. Here’s how the two phones match up. iPhone 7 Plus is very fast
mobile.
iPhone 7 Plus screen Size
The iPhone 7 Plus has a screen size of 5.5-inches. It’s the same size as the previous
year’s iPhone 6S, but the screen quality has improved with support for wider colors for
more color saturation and accuracy. This makes the screen great for watching videos,
playing video games, or editing photos. iPhone 7 Plus is better then iPhone 6s or iPhone
7.
● 5.5 inch Retina HD display (IPS)
● 1920 × 1080 resolution
● 401 ppi
● 1300:1 contrast ratio
● Wide color display (P3)
● 625 nits max brightness (typical)
iPhone 7 Plus size and colors
The size of your phone is an important detail when shopping for a new device. Some
people prefer smaller, one-handed phones, while others value larger screened phones
for easier readability. The iPhone 7 Plus is definitely on the larger end, measuring in at
158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3mm and weighing in at 188g. It’s a hefty phone for sure, and the
overall size is even larger than newer models like the iPhone XS which have significantly
larger displays. iPhone 7 Plus is very powerful mobile.
The iPhone 7 Plus also comes in a handful of standard colors like gold, silver, black, and
red, along with fan favorite rose gold. This was also the first and last model year that
Apple introduced a glossy jet black color with a ceramic coating that unfortunately, was
much more susceptible to scratches.
iPhone 7 Plus Camera
There have been several advancements in mobile camera technology over the years,
and while the iPhone 7 Plus camera may not offer the best photos or videos, it should
meet the needs of those who don’t want to spend an arm-and-a-leg just to snap an
occasional photo. iPhone 7 Plus camera result is awesom. iPhone 7 Plus camera result
is better then iPhone 6s Plus.
That’s not to say the iPhone 7 Plus camera is bad by any means. At the time of its
release, the iPhone 7 Plus was easily one of the best smartphone cameras of its day.
The primary camera is a 12MP sensor with a fast f/1.8 aperture. The iPhone 7 also adds
a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and both cameras feature optical image
stabilization. Here are the rest of the camera specs:
Dual rear cameras
● 12MP wide-angle: ƒ/1.8 aperture
● 12MP telephoto: ƒ/2.8 aperture (2x optical zoom)
● Portrait mode
● Optical image stabilization
● Six‑element lens
● Sapphire crystal lens cover
● Quad-LED True Tone flash
● Wide color capture
● Improved local tone mapping
Front facing selfie camera
● 7MP f/2.2 aperture
● 1080p / 30fps
On the video front, the iPhone 7 Plus is capable of shooting crisp 4K / 30fps, and slo-mo
1080p / 120fps videos.
Battery Life
Meanwhile, the iPhone 7 Plus comes with a 2,900mAh battery capable of delivering
around 14 hours of video playback. That’s only an hour more than the smaller model,
but in real world usage (phone calls, standby time, etc.) you’re looking at substantially
longer battery life than the regular iPhone 7.
Comparison between iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
When looking for the best deal on a cheap iPhone, it’s impossible to avoid inserting the
iPhone 7 and 7 Plus into the conversation. Released over 4 years ago, the iPhone 7 and
7 Plus are still some of the most popular phones sold on Swapper, so it’s clearly still on
a lot of people’s radar. iPhone 7 Plus camera is very best camera and best performance.
Although the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus look similar in many ways, there are still some key
differences that separate the two. In this post, we’ll compare the differences in features,
hardware, and price, so if you’re sitting on the fence, you should be in a better position to
figure out which iPhone 7 model is best for you.
iPhone 7 vs iPhone 7 Plus: Features
Released in 2016, the classic look of the tenth generation iPhone 7 and 7 Plus may not
be considered modern by today’s standards, but both phones are still great buys in
2021. With must-have features like water resistance, fingerprint reader, Portrait mode
(Plus model only), and solid battery life, both the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus make great starter
phones for shoppers who only require the essentials.
It is worth noting, however, that both the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are no longer equipped
with a 3.5mm headphone jack. This means you’ll need a dongle to plug your
headphones into the Lightning port, requiring a separate adapter to both charge and
listen to music simultaneously. This makes wireless Bluetooth headphones an essential
purchase for music listeners who are considering the iPhone 7, 7 Plus, or later models.
iPhone 7 plus is very fast mobile and its battery timing is amazing.
Battery Life iPhone 7, 7Plus
The iPhone 7 battery capacity is 1,960mAh. Although nominally larger than the previous
generation model, Apple claims the phone can dish out 13 hours of video playback
(roughly 2 hours more than the iPhone 6S).
The iPhone 7 Plus comes with a 2,900mAh battery capable of delivering around 14
hours of video playback. That’s only an hour more than the smaller model, but in real
world usage you’re looking at substantially longer battery life than the regular iPhone 7.
iPhone 7 Plus battery health is very long and speed is very fast.
Performance
Finally, The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are both equipped with Apple’s quad-core A10
Fusion chip. The 64-bit processor features two high-performance cores and two
energy-efficient cores, along with an embedded M10 motion co-processor. According to
Apple, the processor delivers 40% better CPU performance and 50% greater graphics
than the previous A9 chip found on the iPhone 6S. While this means performance
between the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is largely identical, there is one key area that separates
the two apart: RAM. iPhone 7 plus performance is very good performance.
Is iPhone 7 or 7 plus better?
The iPhone 7 Plus has a substantially better camera, we’ve concluded in our testing, and
is one of the key reasons – alongside battery life – to pick Apple’s bigger phone. When it
comes to video, the offering of both phones is the same: 4K at 30fps; 1080p at 60fps;
and 720p at a slow-mo 240fps. That’s why iPhone 7 plus is better then iPhone 7.
Is the iPhone 7 Plus Battery Health then the iPhone 7?
The larger iPhone 7 Plus’ 2900 mah battery (up from 2750 mAh on the 6s Plus) endured
for 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 7, lasting 10 hour and 35 minutes. iPhone 7 Plus
battery life is very long and charging speed is very fast.
iPhone 8
iPhone 8: Overview
Apple originally released the iPhone 8 in September 2017 and it remained available from
Apple through mid-April 2020. Some people may automatically assume that the iPhone
8 is old and outdated, given that it was released several years ago.
It is easy to see that the iPhone landscape has changed since Apple originally released
the iPhone 8. Bezels have shrunk, the display size has grown, and Apple has moved
from Touch ID to Face ID. iPhone 8 has very fast mobile but iPhone 8 size is small. The
major disadvantage of iPhone 8 is that the iPhone 8 has very small size.
Processor & Performance
One concern about buying an older model is getting a device that struggles to keep up.
Spending less money on a phone is good — unless you get a device that feels slow and
sluggish. In the case of the iPhone 8, you are getting the Apple A11 Bionic chip with 2GB
of RAM. The iPhone 8 Plus has the same Apple A11 chip, but the RAM gets bumped to
3GB. iPhone 8 is very fast mobile and this software performance is very fast.
For comparison, the iPhone 7 featured the Apple A10 chip, and the iPhone Xr, Xs, and Xs
Max have the Apple A12 Bionic chip. And, as we learned a few months after the iPhone
8 was released, the iPhone X adopted many of the same internals as the iPhone 8 such
as the Apple A11 Bionic chip.
Camera
Aside from performance and battery life, a feature that is important for lots of people is
the camera. The back camera setup differs on each device, but both the 8 and 8 Plus
feature a 7MP camera on the front. The iPhone 8 Plus features a dual-camera setup on
the back with a wide-angle and telephoto lens. The wide-angle lens is 12MP, and the
telephoto lens is similar to what we saw with the iPhone 7.
Software
Another key aspect to consider when choosing an older model iPhone is the software. It
is understood that Apple will not roll out software updates forever, but it is good when
you know the phone is still getting current updates. This is the case with the iPhone 8
and 8 Plus. When these phones launched in 2017, they were running iOS 11.0. As of
today, Apple is still supporting the 8 and 8 Plus with software updates, and the devices
are running the most current version of iOS 15.
iPhone 8: What you will get
● Solid overall phone with a strong processor and good camera
● The most recent version of iOS (as of June 2021)
● Smaller form factor phone with Touch ID (as opposed to only Face ID)
The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are both still solid phones worth buying in 2022. Purchasing an
iPhone 8 in 2022 lets you spend less money. Or, alternatively, you could likely purchase
an iPhone 8 and Apple Watch Series 3 and still come out spending less money.
iPhone 8 What you will not get
We mentioned how the iPhone 8 is still getting regular iOS updates from Apple, which is
a definite perk. But we also do not have a firm date on when that support will end. As
we mentioned earlier, recent patterns suggest the iPhone 8 may even continue to
receive updates into 2023, but that is based on previous release patterns and not a firm
timeline offered by Apple. iPhone 8 is very important mobile now a days.
iPhone 8 Plus
iPhone 8 Plus
Overview
I’m not convinced waiting for the iPhone X is the best bang for your buck. The iPhone 8
Plus is too tried, too tested, and too trusted to be written off as last year’s technology.
iPhone 8 Plus is better then iPhone 8.
This is the first time we’ve seen Apple release two flagship iPhones on the same day.
Instead of the normal big screen vs. small screen choice, would-be buyers are faced
with a more complicated matrix: buy now/buy less expensive/buy traditional design vs.
buy later/buy more expensive/buy tomorrow’s design. It’s just not as simple as it once
was.
At the heart of the iPhone 8 Plus vs. iPhone X decision is one’s taste in design. The
iPhone 8 Plus design is now four years old, including its curved aluminum edges and
large bezels. In many ways, the 8 Plus jams today’s technology into yesterday’s body.
Cameras
When people discuss why they want the iPhone X over the iPhone 8 Plus, the
conversation is usually led with the difference in the two camera systems. Justifiably so,
I’d argue there are a wide number of technical differences between the two.
The iPhone X’s telephoto lens, for instance, sports optical image stabilization and an
f/2.4 aperture, while the iPhone 8 Plus telephoto lens sticks with an non-stabilized lens
and the smaller f/2.8 aperture. iPhone 8 Plus is very fast mobile.
The iPhone X’s True Depth front-facing camera is significantly better than the
front-facing iPhone 8 Plus camera. That True Depth camera is responsible for Portrait
Mode and Portrait lighting from both front and backside cameras, Face ID availability,
and the new features.
PORTRAIT MODE/ POTRAIT LIGHTING
Portrait Mode is significantly faster on the iPhone 8 Plus; subjects are locked onto
quicker and live application of artificial bokeh can be seen nearly instantly. I’ve noticed a
large improvement in how Portrait Mode locks on to and understand inanimate objects
as well so much so that I shot a hero image for The Sweet Setup a few weeks ago and
you can hardly tell it was shot with an iPhone instead of a Android.

How big is the iPhone 8 Plus?
The regular iPhone 8 is fairly small, while the iPhone 8 Plus is the larger model.
Although big by even today’s standards, the screen itself is actually smaller than the one
equipped on the iPhone 13 (5.5-inches vs 6.1-inches). This is because the iPhone 8 Plus
has large black bezels on the top and bottom of the screen that increases its overall
footprint. Meanwhile, newer iPhone designs have full displays that stretch to all four
corners of the phone, with only a small notch at the top to house the True Depth camera
and Face ID sensors.
● iPhone 8 Plus dimensions: 158.4 x 78.1 x 7.5mm
● iPhone 8 Plus weight: 202g
Is the iPhone 8 Plus waterproof?
We say that because a popular misconception is that modern phones these days are
waterproof, when the vast majority are only water-resistant to varying degrees. With that
out of the way, we can talk about the iPhone 8 Plus and its water resistance. iPhone 8
Plus is a purely waterproof mobile.
The iPhone 8 Plus has an IP67 water/dust resistance rating, which means the phone is
able to survive being fully submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. So while
you probably shouldn’t take the phone snorkeling, it will have no problem surviving a
splash of water or fall into the toilet. Just make sure you rinse the phone thoroughly
afterward.
iPhone 8 vs iPhone 8 Plus Comparison
iPhone 8 vs iPhone 8 Plus camera
The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus feature the same 12MP wide-angle camera on the back with
optical image stabilization (OIS), and 7MP front-facing camera. But where the
differences lie is with the iPhone 8 Plus extra 12MP telephoto lens, allowing the phone
to shoot with 2x optical zoom — a huge improvement over traditional digital zoom.
iPhone 8 Plus camera result is very amazing other then the iPhone 8.
With an f/2.8 aperture, the telephoto lens isn’t really suited for anything but the brightest
environments. However, the extra telephoto lens allows the 8 Plus to take advantage of
Portrait mode, a must-have camera feature that spawned countless copycats. Portrait
mode produces stunning portrait photos by digitally simulating a shallow depth of field.
Apple also added Portrait lighting, a new option that creates more dramatic portrait
photos using Apple’s software tricks.
iPhone 8 vs iPhone 8 Plus size
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are some of the top selling phones of Alifdukan and for
good reason. The 2017 iPhones offer a great mix of features and affordable pricing,
something that makes the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus an incredible value for anyone on a
budget.

Performance: iPhone 8 vs iPhone 8 Plus
When Apple launched the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus, these smartphones were
touted as the fastest ones in the market at that time. While the newer models like the
iPhone Xs and iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max have taken this lead forward, the
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus offered a significant improvement to an already good
smartphone.
If you were wondering why “Bionic” had to be added to the A11, it is from the integrated
dual-core Neural engine that is responsible for the image processing required for Face
ID, a facial recognition system that maps your face in 3D and notices any changes like
haircuts or facial hair. iPhone 8 Plus is better then iPhone 8. Both these phones,
however, cannot access it as Face ID.
Battery Life and Charging
One aspect where Apple has not shown great improvement with the iPhone 8 and the
iPhone 8 Plus is the battery life. In terms of performance, and iPhone 7 Plus are also
very similar in terms of battery performance.
Ah, battery life. Possibly the most important part of your phone. It may have all the bells
and whistles, but if it doesn’t even last an afternoon at the park, then what’s the point?
The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus both have rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, and both support
Qi wireless charging. The iPhone 8 has up to 13 hours of video playback, while the 8
Plus has up to 14 hours. For audio playback, the 8 has up to 40 hours whereas the 8
Plus has up to 60 hours. Between the two, the iPhone 8 Plus is the better battery option.
Does the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have the same
battery?
The iPhone 8 gives you talk time of up to 14 hours, while the iPhone 8 Plus offers 21
hours. The battery performance is fairly similar when it comes to internet usage 12
hours for the iPhone 8 and 13 hours for the bigger model.
Which is better iPhone 8 or 8 Plus?
The displays differ slightly in that iPhone 8 Plus has a higher pixel resolution than 8,
making the images on screen appear exceptionally clear. As for battery life, both models
offer super-fast charging, but iPhone 8 Plus has a longer battery life.
iPhone x
Introduction
The iPhone X is Apple’s 10th anniversary iPhone. Announced at the same time as the
iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus, but going on sale a little later, the device is Apple’s
flagship phone and features all of its latest camera technology.
On the back of the phone are two cameras, one wide-angle (28mm equivalent) and one
telephoto (56mm equivalent), both with 12-megapixel sensors. The wide-angle lens has
an f/1.8 aperture, while the telephoto lens has an f/2.4 aperture. Both lenses are
equipped with optical image stabilization.
iPhone X design
The first thing you will notice about the Apple iPhone X is how small it is. In fact, is not
much larger than the iPhone 8. Actually, at 5.8 inches the iPhone X packs a larger screen
than the iPhone 8 Plus but is significantly smaller. So much so that the iPhone can fit
easily inside the iPhone 8 Plus and still have some real estate behind.
Apple iPhone X display
The Apple iPhone X is the first iPhone to sport a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen.
Apple has always wanted to try AMOLED, but it’s become good enough and affordable
enough only now. So along with the ~82.9 per cent screen-to-body ratio, the 5.8-display
is the brightest ever on an iPhone and has the most PPI density at 458. All this goes on
to make the iPhone X’s a stunning screen.

iPhone X Camera
The declining camera market is not only due to photographers buying less cameras. It is
primarily because non-photographers are choosing not to buy big cameras when their
pocket phone can do a decent job. The worst part of it, is that the trend will likely
continue to spiral downward, until the camera market is left for us photographers only. It
is clear that big and heavy gear that comes with a thick manual and requires prior
knowledge of photography isn’t cutting it for an average consumer. Not when their
smartphone has a single app and a single button to take pictures or video. iPhone X
camera is very beautiful.
iPhone X camera Review
People are too occupied with their daily lives and have much shorter attention spans to
pick up a new tool and learn a new craft. That’s just the world we live in today.
Everything is fed to us at an enormous pace and we are dealing with a huge information
overload. News sites, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, television, radio,
podcasts, online streaming…one could go on and on about all the sources of
information and entertainment today.
Enable power-saving mode early
Here’s another simple tip: make full use of that of that Low Power Mode on the iPhone
X. You can find this in Settings > Battery. Once enabled, apps won’t be allowed to work in
the background, animations are disabled and downloads will pause. This is great for
stretching out your last 20% of battery, but you’ll see bigger impacts the earlier that you
enable power saving mode. You can turn on Low Power Mode faster by asking Siri to
“turn on Low Power Mode”
iPhone XS
Introduction
Announced in September 2018, the iPhone XS (and iPhone XS Max) made its debut
roughly a year after the iPhone X. iPhone XS is very fast mobile.
It represents a fairly modest update from its predecessor, but in terms of the camera
there has been some interesting improvements. Both models use the same camera, but
the XS Max offers a larger screen size. For this review we have been using the standard
iPhone XS.
The iPhone XS uses a dual 12-megapixel cameras, with one wide angle lens and one
telephoto lens. It can record 4K video up to 60fps, and includes shooting modes
including “Portrait” which can be used to create shallow depth of field effects.
A 5.8-inch Super Retina HD screen is found on the iPhone XS, with other interesting
specifications including a new processor, the addition of a slider to control depth of
field, and storage capacities up to 512GB. iPhone XS is very expensive mobile.
At the time of writing, the iPhone XS can be bought for £999 / $999 for the lowest
capacity option (64GB), up to £1,349 / $1,349 for the highest capacity (512GB).
Ease to Use
In terms of phone design, the iPhone XS is very similar to its predecessor. It retains the
controversial “notch” that allows the display to go right to the top edge of the phone, but
still accommodate the front facing camera and face detection sensor.
You can unlock the iPhone using Face Unlock, or you can enter a passcode if you prefer.
As is now standard for iPhones, there’s no fingerprint sensor at all.
If all you want to do is use the camera, you can hold down the camera icon on the
bottom left of the lock screen to start up the native camera app. That means that the
phone is not unlocked, so although you can shoot with it, you’ll only be able to see the
images you’ve taken in a current unlock session in playback.
As is common for iPhones, the native camera app is relatively simple and
straightforward. This can be seen as either a positive or a negative thing depending on
your point of view.
Along the bottom of the screen (or to the right if holding the phone in landscape
orientation), you’ll see the different photo modes that are available to use. The standard
mode is Photo, but by swiping to the left you’ll find Video, Sol-Mo and Time-Lapse, while
swiping to right gets you to Portrait, Square and Paon (panorama).
In the standard Photo mode, the amount of control offered to a photographer is
relatively limited. You can tap around the screen to select an autofocus point – when
you do that, you’ll notice a small sun icon appears which you can slide up and down to
adjust exposure compensation. Along the top of the screen, you can switch flash on and
off, turn on and off “Live Photo”, enable the timer (3 seconds or 10 seconds), or add one
of several filter options. You can also press and hold on the screen to lock exposure and
focus to a particular point.
iPhone XS Display
I didn’t have the iPhone X with its OLED display and discovering the quality of this
display was a revelation. The colors are sharper as well as the brightness even at wider
viewing angles, and the contrast is exceptional. But is this really necessary on an
iPhone? With an iPad, where you will be seeing a larger display, the more even
illumination would be a plus, but it almost seems like overkill on the iPhone considering
how much it increases the cost.
Face ID
Most people upgrade their phones every two or three years, so they skip generations
and may only discover important new features after they’ve been around for a year or
more. That’s the case with Face ID for me. Since I didn’t get the iPhone X last year, Face
ID is a welcome change. It takes a couple of minutes to get used to not having a home
button, but once you’ve figured it out it becomes second nature.
Speed and Usability
Every year, Apple says that the new iPhone is the fastest one ever, and this is, of course,
always true because of the progress they make on the devices’ internals. It’s a bit
difficult to judge the speed of an iPhone because the operating systems and apps make
a lot of demands on the device, and with each new generation of iOS, older models run a
bit more slowly. But the iPhone XS and XS Max are as fast as you probably need.
With these taller iPhones, you may want to activate the Reachability. When you do this, a
short swipe up from the bottom edge brings the content of the display down halfway if
you want to reach it with one hand.
Camera
The dual camera that has been on iPhone Plus models for a couple of years has been
improved, notably with some serious software enhancements. What Apple calls Smart
HDR allows you to take photos where the lighting varies greatly from dark to light,
blending multiple exposures to create more evenly lit photos.

iPhone 11
Introduction
Last year, I got on Apple ‘s iPhone upgrade program to be able to change my phone
every year without having the hassle of selling an old one on eBay. Given that I was
spreading the cost out over monthly payments, at 0% interest, I decided to go for the
best model: the iPhone XS Max.It was a wonderful phone, but at a high price. And even
though I paid for that iPhone monthly, rather than in one lump sum, the payments were
still pretty high. So, this year, I opted to go for the iPhone 11, which really is the iPhone
for everyone. iPhone 11 is very powerful mobile.
The iPhone 11 is sleek and slim, and its glass back means that it is quite grippy most of
the time when held with bare hands. But its matte edges are a bit slippery, and, as much
as I would love to go caseless with my iPhone, I just can’t take the chance. While I have
never broken an iPhone screen, and this iPhone is covered with AppleCare+ as part of
the iPhone upgrade program, I just know that once I start using an iPhone without a
case, I’ll drop it.
Ease to Use
Apple pitches the iPhone 11 as being for those with a more limited budget, but it also
targets a younger and more “fun” orientated audience. As such, the iPhone 11 is
available in a variety of different brighter colors , as compared to the more staid
options available for the iPhone 11 Pro.
Unlike the iPhone 11 Pro, the iPhone 11 is only available in one size – 6.1-inches. The
iPhone 11 Pro can also be bought in a “Max” variant, with the iPhone 11’s size lying
somewhere between the two if you prefer a larger phone but don’t want to splash out on
the iPhone 11 Pro Max it could be a good option for that reason too. iPhone 11 has long
battery time.
That said, the screen of the iPhone 11 is a little different in quality when compared to
the iPhone 11 Pro. The iPhone 11 uses an Liquid Retina HD screen, compared to the
Pro’s Super Retina XDR display. iPhone 11 has less expensive then iPhone 11 pro.

iPhone 11 Features
Display
The iPhone 11 has a Liquid Retina Display that debuted the previous generation in the
iPhone XR. The resolution is 1,792 x 828 pixels, and, at 6.1-inches diagonally, equates to
326ppi. For comparison, the pro models have 458ppi with their OLED screens. iPhone
11 is very fast mobile.
The Liquid Retina HD LCD panel also offers the same True Tone and Wide Color Display
(P3) features as its OLED counterparts, but is a bit less bright.
The bezel around the outside of the screen is slightly thicker than in the pro models but
still qualifies as an edge-to-edge display.
How good is the iPhone 11 camera?
● iPhone 11 uses the same wide-angle and super wide-angle lens as iPhone 11
Pro, but no telephoto lens
● Software improvements compared with the iPhone XR include addition of
Night mode, plus the ability to use Portrait mode with non-human subjects
● Quality of the two lenses is the same as the more expensive iPhone 11 Pro, but
less flexible thanks to the missing lens
The iPhone 11 uses a dual-camera setup which is very similar to that found on the
iPhone 11 Pro. You’re missing the telephoto (2x) lens, but you still get the standard lens,
plus the super wide-angle lens – giving you one more lens than you’d have found on the
previous “budget” iPhone, the iPhone XR..
Both the iPhone 11’s cameras use a 12-megapixel sensor. Apple doesn’t like to disclose
too much specific information about its components, so it’s not entirely clear how
physically large each of the sensors are. The two lenses you get to work with are a
26mm f/1.8 (equivalent) standard lens, and the new “0.5x” super wide-angle lens at
13mm f/2.4 (equivalent). Only the standard (1x) lens features optical image stabilization
(OIS). What you don’t get is the 52mm telephoto lens – but there’s every chance you’ll
find a super wide angle more useful than that anyway.
Related: Best iPhone deals
Reading those spaces you’d be forgiven for thinking that 12 megapixels is a little bit
old-fashioned. We’ve recently seen other manufacturers launching 48-megapixel
smartphone (the Huawei 30 pro, for example), so something which only offers a quarter
of the resolution feels a little lacking. But, fewer pixels should actually be better for low
light, while unless you’re planning to print out your images at massive sizes, 12
megapixels should be more than enough (and let’s face it, most people’s photos don’t
get any further than Instagram).

  • 2. Introduction Apple releases a new iPhone each year and it’s always the best iPhone Apple has ever made. The company switched up its game plan a bit in 2014 and released the same phone in two different sizes, so now the title of “best iPhone ever” is shared by two devices at a time. It’s that time of year again. Once a year at least one new iPhone model comes out and I upgrade to the new model. Ever since the iPhone 3GS Apple has done an incremental update to the iPhone before the next major update. So, we’ve had the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5s and now iPhone 6s. Sure we can probably expect and iPhone 7 next year, but the question becomes do you wait or do you upgrade to the 6s or 6s Plus. As usual it really depends on what you have now. If you’re on an older model such as the iPhone 5s or older then the iPhone 6s is a monumental upgrade. If you upgraded to the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus last year and you’re under a contract then you can probably sit this one out. What’s New and What’s Cool
  • 3. It’s funny when I read comments online proclaiming the iPhone 6s to be EXACTLY the same as the iPhone 6. In other words, they claim that there are NO DIFFERENCES. Really? I’m not sure if these are just haters or really uninformed people. While the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus look pretty much identical to last year’s models, there are significant changes under the hood. Like I said above Apple typically doesn’t change form factor for two models. Look back at the iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPhone 5 and iPhone 6. Each one was a significant change in form factor. The “s” models are usual changes all on the inside. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are no different. While they look just like last year’s models there are some great changes on the inside. iPhone 6s is very fast mobile. Here are a few: First Impression The first thing that I noticed about the iPhone 6s Plus is its weight. It is for sure heavier than the iPhone 6 Plus though the difference might be insignificant. And it is also among the heavier phones I have used. The design is not very different from the iPhone 6, though Apple claims to have used better material and aircraft grade aluminum. The phone also feels a bit thicker than its predecessor. iPhone 6s is very beautiful mobile. iPhone 6s is very fast mobile.
  • 4. 3D Touch This is for sure the cutting edge feature, the one everyone is looking forward to in the new iPhones. My first take is that it does take some getting used to. Actually, the first press goes against your natural inclination which is to not put too much stress on anything made of glass. But you have to press and press real hard. To use an analogy that will find takers among my Malayali brethren and Bengali friends, it is almost the same pressure you exert to figure out if that fish lying on the bed of ice is fresh. iPhone 6s is very expensive mobile. • 6. Introduction The iPhone 7 wasn’t a giant leap in design from the previous generation iPhone 6S. Instead, it was more of evolution. The design received minor tweaks, like a more streamlined hump around the camera lens and an entirely new color/finish: Jet Black. Easily one of the rarest iPhone colors, the Jet Black option was discontinued the following year (likely because it was prone to scratches). Other iPhone 7 colors include silver, gold, rose gold, and matte black. iPhone 7 is very powerful mobile. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus also feature stereo speakers, which push sound out the bottom of the phone and through the earpiece. Although the stereo effect is a little unbalanced (the bottom speaker is a bit louder), it does help with overall volume, delivering more sound to your ears, which is a welcomed plus. iPhone 7 water resistance
  • 7. The iPhone 7 feel solid, arguably more solid than the previous generation iPhone 6S. This may have something to do with the fact that the phone is now water-resistant, with IP67 water and dust resistance rating. That means the iPhone 7 can last up to 30 minutes fully submerged in 3 feet of water. This doesn’t make the phone waterproof, however, so you shouldn’t take the iPhone 7 with you into the pool. The IP67 rating is merely a little extra protection to survive drops in the toilet and the like. iPhone 7 is very beautiful mobile. iPhone 7 Specifications When Apple released the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus the main purchase decision was the size. If you wanted a bigger phone with a bigger display, you went with the Plus model. But otherwise, the regular-sized iPhone 7 was the model to go with. ● 4.7-inch Retina HD display ● Home button with Touch ID ● Apple A10 Fusion chip ● 2GB of RAM ● 32GB, 128GB or 256GB of storage ● 1960 mAh battery ● IP67 (Maximum depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes) ● 4G LTE cellular ● WiFi 802.11ac ● Bluetooth 4.2 ● GPS/GNSS ● Front camera: 7MP FaceTime HD ● Rear camera: Single 12MP wide The iPhone 7 featured a new static (capacitive) home button, which was a change from the physical home button on the previous years iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Notably, the iPhone 7 was the first iPhone to ship without a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apple included a set of EarPods with Lightning Connector headphones in the box, but otherwise, a dongle is needed if you want to use a set of standard 3.5mm headphones. The iPhone 7 also supports VoLTE (voice over LTE), WiFi calling, and has NFC with support for Apple Pay. iPhone 7 is very best mobile for ever.
  • 8. What size is the iPhone 7 display? The iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with a resolution of 1334 x 750. Other key display highlights include the following: ● 326 ppi ● 1400 1 contrast ratio ● Wide color display (P3) ● 625 nits max brightness (typical) If you look at iPhone 7 you’ll notice that it looks a bit different as compared to newer models of the iPhone. The display on the iPhone 7 isn’t edge-to-edge like newer models of the iPhone, which is due to the capacitive home button that is centered just under the display. iPhone Battery Life The iPhone 7 features a 1,960 mAh battery, and the phone is charged using a Lightning cable. Unfortunately, wireless charging was not available on the iPhone 7. Support for Qi wireless charging arrived on the iPhone a year later, in 2017, with the introduction of the iPhone 8. Apple rates the iPhone 7 battery as being able to provide up to 13 hours of video playback and up to 40 hours of audio playback. Of course, it is important to keep in mind that these estimates are based on a new iPhone. Rechargeable batteries, including the lithium-ion battery found in the iPhone 7 are subject to degrade over time due to regular usage and the number of charge cycles. Is the iPhone 7 worth in 2022? Yes the iPhone 7 is worth buying in 2022. Plenty of people are looking for smaller phones, and for a phone that uses Touch ID instead of Face ID, which are two positive points for the iPhone 7. Not to mention, the iPhone 7 is still getting iOS software updates from Apple.
  • 9. iPhone 7 Plus iPhone 7 Plus release date The iPhone 7 Plus was originally released in September 2016, alongside the much smaller iPhone 7. Both phones were officially discontinued by Apple in 2019 with the release of the iPhone 11. iPhone 7 Plus have many features. Despite no longer being offered at the Apple Store, the iPhone 7 Plus is still supported by Apple, meaning it receives regular security updates and is currently running the latest version of iOS. iPhone 7 Plus spaces Overall, the design of the iPhone 7 Plus wasn’t a big change from the previous generation iPhone 6S Plus, but more of a refinement. Today, the iPhone 7 Plus does look a bit dated. Newer models like the iPhone XS have significantly larger screen sizes while carrying a smaller footprint to boot. When compared to the regular iPhone 7, the iPhone 7 Plus is obviously the bigger of the two models, but there are more “pluses” than just the overall size. The 7 Plus has extra bonus specs like a larger battery, higher resolution display, and an extra camera lens for Portrait mode shots. Here’s how the two phones match up. iPhone 7 Plus is very fast mobile. iPhone 7 Plus screen Size The iPhone 7 Plus has a screen size of 5.5-inches. It’s the same size as the previous year’s iPhone 6S, but the screen quality has improved with support for wider colors for more color saturation and accuracy. This makes the screen great for watching videos,

Some people prefer smaller, one-handed phones, while others value larger screened phones for easier readability. The iPhone 7 Plus is definitely on the larger end, measuring in at 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3mm and weighing in at 188g. It’s a hefty phone for sure, and the overall size is even larger than newer models like the iPhone XS which have significantly larger displays. iPhone 7 Plus is very powerful mobile. The iPhone 7 Plus also comes in a handful of standard colors like gold, silver, black, and red, along with fan favorite rose gold. This was also the first and last model year that Apple introduced a glossy jet black color with a ceramic coating that unfortunately, was much more susceptible to scratches. iPhone 7 Plus Camera
  • 11. There have been several advancements in mobile camera technology over the years, and while the iPhone 7 Plus camera may not offer the best photos or videos, it should meet the needs of those who don’t want to spend an arm-and-a-leg just to snap an occasional photo. iPhone 7 Plus camera result is awesom. iPhone 7 Plus camera result is better then iPhone 6s Plus. That’s not to say the iPhone 7 Plus camera is bad by any means. At the time of its release, the iPhone 7 Plus was easily one of the best smartphone cameras of its day. The primary camera is a 12MP sensor with a fast f/1.8 aperture. The iPhone 7 also adds a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and both cameras feature optical image stabilization. Here are the rest of the camera specs: Dual rear cameras ● 12MP wide-angle: ƒ/1.8 aperture ● 12MP telephoto: ƒ/2.8 aperture (2x optical zoom) ● Portrait mode ● Optical image stabilization ● Six‑element lens ● Sapphire crystal lens cover
  • 12. ● Quad-LED True Tone flash ● Wide color capture ● Improved local tone mapping Front facing selfie camera ● 7MP f/2.2 aperture ● 1080p / 30fps On the video front, the iPhone 7 Plus is capable of shooting crisp 4K / 30fps, and slo-mo 1080p / 120fps videos. Battery Life Meanwhile, the iPhone 7 Plus comes with a 2,900mAh battery capable of delivering around 14 hours of video playback. That’s only an hour more than the smaller model, but in real world usage (phone calls, standby time, etc.) you’re looking at substantially longer battery life than the regular iPhone 7. Comparison between iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus When looking for the best deal on a cheap iPhone, it’s impossible to avoid inserting the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus into the conversation. Released over 4 years ago, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are still some of the most popular phones sold on Swapper, so it’s clearly still on a lot of people’s radar. iPhone 7 Plus camera is very best camera and best performance. Although the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus look similar in many ways, there are still some key differences that separate the two. In this post, we’ll compare the differences in features, hardware, and price, so if you’re sitting on the fence, you should be in a better position to figure out which iPhone 7 model is best for you. iPhone 7 vs iPhone 7 Plus: Features
  • 13. Released in 2016, the classic look of the tenth generation iPhone 7 and 7 Plus may not be considered modern by today’s standards, but both phones are still great buys in 2021. With must-have features like water resistance, fingerprint reader, Portrait mode (Plus model only), and solid battery life, both the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus make great starter phones for shoppers who only require the essentials. It is worth noting, however, that both the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are no longer equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack. This means you’ll need a dongle to plug your headphones into the Lightning port, requiring a separate adapter to both charge and listen to music simultaneously. This makes wireless Bluetooth headphones an essential purchase for music listeners who are considering the iPhone 7, 7 Plus, or later models. iPhone 7 plus is very fast mobile and its battery timing is amazing. Battery Life iPhone 7, 7Plus The iPhone 7 battery capacity is 1,960mAh. Although nominally larger than the previous generation model, Apple claims the phone can dish out 13 hours of video playback (roughly 2 hours more than the iPhone 6S).
  • 14. The iPhone 7 Plus comes with a 2,900mAh battery capable of delivering around 14 hours of video playback. That’s only an hour more than the smaller model, but in real world usage you’re looking at substantially longer battery life than the regular iPhone 7. iPhone 7 Plus battery health is very long and speed is very fast. Performance Finally, The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are both equipped with Apple’s quad-core A10 Fusion chip. The 64-bit processor features two high-performance cores and two energy-efficient cores, along with an embedded M10 motion co-processor. According to Apple, the processor delivers 40% better CPU performance and 50% greater graphics than the previous A9 chip found on the iPhone 6S. While this means performance between the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is largely identical, there is one key area that separates the two apart: RAM. iPhone 7 plus performance is very good performance. Is iPhone 7 or 7 plus better? The iPhone 7 Plus has a substantially better camera, we’ve concluded in our testing, and is one of the key reasons – alongside battery life – to pick Apple’s bigger phone. When it comes to video, the offering of both phones is the same: 4K at 30fps; 1080p at 60fps; and 720p at a slow-mo 240fps. That’s why iPhone 7 plus is better then iPhone 7. Is the iPhone 7 Plus Battery Health then the iPhone 7? The larger iPhone 7 Plus’ 2900 mah battery (up from 2750 mAh on the 6s Plus) endured for 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 7, lasting 10 hour and 35 minutes. iPhone 7 Plus battery life is very long and charging speed is very fast. iPhone 8
  • 15. iPhone 8: Overview Apple originally released the iPhone 8 in September 2017 and it remained available from Apple through mid-April 2020. Some people may automatically assume that the iPhone 8 is old and outdated, given that it was released several years ago. It is easy to see that the iPhone landscape has changed since Apple originally released the iPhone 8. Bezels have shrunk, the display size has grown, and Apple has moved from Touch ID to Face ID. iPhone 8 has very fast mobile but iPhone 8 size is small. The major disadvantage of iPhone 8 is that the iPhone 8 has very small size. Processor & Performance One concern about buying an older model is getting a device that struggles to keep up. Spending less money on a phone is good — unless you get a device that feels slow and sluggish. In the case of the iPhone 8, you are getting the Apple A11 Bionic chip with 2GB of RAM. The iPhone 8 Plus has the same Apple A11 chip, but the RAM gets bumped to 3GB. iPhone 8 is very fast mobile and this software performance is very fast. For comparison, the iPhone 7 featured the Apple A10 chip, and the iPhone Xr, Xs, and Xs Max have the Apple A12 Bionic chip. And, as we learned a few months after the iPhone 8 was released, the iPhone X adopted many of the same internals as the iPhone 8 such as the Apple A11 Bionic chip.
  • 17. Aside from performance and battery life, a feature that is important for lots of people is the camera. The back camera setup differs on each device, but both the 8 and 8 Plus feature a 7MP camera on the front. The iPhone 8 Plus features a dual-camera setup on the back with a wide-angle and telephoto lens. The wide-angle lens is 12MP, and the telephoto lens is similar to what we saw with the iPhone 7. Software Another key aspect to consider when choosing an older model iPhone is the software. It is understood that Apple will not roll out software updates forever, but it is good when you know the phone is still getting current updates. This is the case with the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. When these phones launched in 2017, they were running iOS 11.0. As of today, Apple is still supporting the 8 and 8 Plus with software updates, and the devices are running the most current version of iOS 15. iPhone 8: What you will get ● Solid overall phone with a strong processor and good camera ● The most recent version of iOS (as of June 2021) ● Smaller form factor phone with Touch ID (as opposed to only Face ID) The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are both still solid phones worth buying in 2022. Purchasing an iPhone 8 in 2022 lets you spend less money. Or, alternatively, you could likely purchase an iPhone 8 and Apple Watch Series 3 and still come out spending less money. iPhone 8 What you will not get We mentioned how the iPhone 8 is still getting regular iOS updates from Apple, which is a definite perk. But we also do not have a firm date on when that support will end. As we mentioned earlier, recent patterns suggest the iPhone 8 may even continue to receive updates into 2023, but that is based on previous release patterns and not a firm timeline offered by Apple. iPhone 8 is very important mobile now a days.
  • 18. iPhone 8 Plus iPhone 8 Plus Overview I’m not convinced waiting for the iPhone X is the best bang for your buck. The iPhone 8 Plus is too tried, too tested, and too trusted to be written off as last year’s technology. iPhone 8 Plus is better then iPhone 8. This is the first time we’ve seen Apple release two flagship iPhones on the same day. Instead of the normal big screen vs. small screen choice, would-be buyers are faced with a more complicated matrix: buy now/buy less expensive/buy traditional design vs. buy later/buy more expensive/buy tomorrow’s design. It’s just not as simple as it once was. At the heart of the iPhone 8 Plus vs. iPhone X decision is one’s taste in design. The iPhone 8 Plus design is now four years old, including its curved aluminum edges and large bezels. In many ways, the 8 Plus jams today’s technology into yesterday’s body. Cameras
  • 19. When people discuss why they want the iPhone X over the iPhone 8 Plus, the conversation is usually led with the difference in the two camera systems. Justifiably so, I’d argue there are a wide number of technical differences between the two. The iPhone X’s telephoto lens, for instance, sports optical image stabilization and an f/2.4 aperture, while the iPhone 8 Plus telephoto lens sticks with an non-stabilized lens and the smaller f/2.8 aperture. iPhone 8 Plus is very fast mobile.
  • 20. The iPhone X’s True Depth front-facing camera is significantly better than the front-facing iPhone 8 Plus camera. That True Depth camera is responsible for Portrait Mode and Portrait lighting from both front and backside cameras, Face ID availability, and the new features. PORTRAIT MODE/ POTRAIT LIGHTING Portrait Mode is significantly faster on the iPhone 8 Plus; subjects are locked onto quicker and live application of artificial bokeh can be seen nearly instantly. I’ve noticed a large improvement in how Portrait Mode locks on to and understand inanimate objects as well so much so that I shot a hero image for The Sweet Setup a few weeks ago and you can hardly tell it was shot with an iPhone instead of a Android. iPhone 8 Plus Spaces iPhone 8 Plus Features

  • 22. The regular iPhone 8 is fairly small, while the iPhone 8 Plus is the larger model. Although big by even today’s standards, the screen itself is actually smaller than the one equipped on the iPhone 13 (5.5-inches vs 6.1-inches). This is because the iPhone 8 Plus has large black bezels on the top and bottom of the screen that increases its overall footprint. Meanwhile, newer iPhone designs have full displays that stretch to all four corners of the phone, with only a small notch at the top to house the True Depth camera and Face ID sensors. ● iPhone 8 Plus dimensions: 158.4 x 78.1 x 7.5mm ● iPhone 8 Plus weight: 202g Is the iPhone 8 Plus waterproof? We say that because a popular misconception is that modern phones these days are waterproof, when the vast majority are only water-resistant to varying degrees. With that out of the way, we can talk about the iPhone 8 Plus and its water resistance. iPhone 8 Plus is a purely waterproof mobile. The iPhone 8 Plus has an IP67 water/dust resistance rating, which means the phone is able to survive being fully submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. So while you probably shouldn’t take the phone snorkeling, it will have no problem surviving a splash of water or fall into the toilet. Just make sure you rinse the phone thoroughly afterward. iPhone 8 vs iPhone 8 Plus Comparison iPhone 8 vs iPhone 8 Plus camera The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus feature the same 12MP wide-angle camera on the back with optical image stabilization (OIS), and 7MP front-facing camera. But where the differences lie is with the iPhone 8 Plus extra 12MP telephoto lens, allowing the phone

With an f/2.8 aperture, the telephoto lens isn’t really suited for anything but the brightest environments. However, the extra telephoto lens allows the 8 Plus to take advantage of Portrait mode, a must-have camera feature that spawned countless copycats. Portrait mode produces stunning portrait photos by digitally simulating a shallow depth of field. Apple also added Portrait lighting, a new option that creates more dramatic portrait photos using Apple’s software tricks. iPhone 8 vs iPhone 8 Plus size The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are some of the top selling phones of Alifdukan and for good reason. • 24. Performance: iPhone 8 vs iPhone 8 Plus When Apple launched the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus, these smartphones were touted as the fastest ones in the market at that time. While the newer models like the iPhone Xs and iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max have taken this lead forward, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus offered a significant improvement to an already good smartphone. If you were wondering why “Bionic” had to be added to the A11, it is from the integrated dual-core Neural engine that is responsible for the image processing required for Face ID, a facial recognition system that maps your face in 3D and notices any changes like haircuts or facial hair. iPhone 8 Plus is better then iPhone 8. Both these phones, however, cannot access it as Face ID. Battery Life and Charging One aspect where Apple has not shown great improvement with the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus is the battery life. In terms of performance, and iPhone 7 Plus are also very similar in terms of battery performance. Ah, battery life. Possibly the most important part of your phone. It may have all the bells and whistles, but if it doesn’t even last an afternoon at the park, then what’s the point? The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus both have rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, and both support Qi wireless charging. The iPhone 8 has up to 13 hours of video playback, while the 8 Plus has up to 14 hours. For audio playback, the 8 has up to 40 hours whereas the 8 Plus has up to 60 hours. Between the two, the iPhone 8 Plus is the better battery option. Does the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have the same battery? The iPhone 8 gives you talk time of up to 14 hours, while the iPhone 8 Plus offers 21 hours. The battery performance is fairly similar when it comes to internet usage 12 hours for the iPhone 8 and 13 hours for the bigger model.
  • 25. Which is better iPhone 8 or 8 Plus? The displays differ slightly in that iPhone 8 Plus has a higher pixel resolution than 8, making the images on screen appear exceptionally clear. As for battery life, both models offer super-fast charging, but iPhone 8 Plus has a longer battery life. iPhone x Introduction The iPhone X is Apple’s 10th anniversary iPhone. Announced at the same time as the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus, but going on sale a little later, the device is Apple’s flagship phone and features all of its latest camera technology.

The wide-angle lens has an f/1.8 aperture, while the telephoto lens has an f/2.4 aperture. Both lenses are equipped with optical image stabilization. iPhone X design The first thing you will notice about the Apple iPhone X is how small it is. In fact, is not much larger than the iPhone 8. Actually, at 5.8 inches the iPhone X packs a larger screen than the iPhone 8 Plus but is significantly smaller. So much so that the iPhone can fit easily inside the iPhone 8 Plus and still have some real estate behind. Apple iPhone X display

It is primarily because non-photographers are choosing not to buy big cameras when their pocket phone can do a decent job. The worst part of it, is that the trend will likely continue to spiral downward, until the camera market is left for us photographers only. • 31. iPhone X camera Review People are too occupied with their daily lives and have much shorter attention spans to pick up a new tool and learn a new craft. That’s just the world we live in today. Everything is fed to us at an enormous pace and we are dealing with a huge information overload. • 32. enable power saving mode. You can turn on Low Power Mode faster by asking Siri to “turn on Low Power Mode” iPhone XS Introduction Announced in September 2018, the iPhone XS (and iPhone XS Max) made its debut roughly a year after the iPhone X. iPhone XS is very fast mobile. It represents a fairly modest update from its predecessor, but in terms of the camera there has been some interesting improvements. Both models use the same camera, but the XS Max offers a larger screen size. For this review we have been using the standard iPhone XS. The iPhone XS uses a dual 12-megapixel cameras, with one wide angle lens and one telephoto lens. It can record 4K video up to 60fps, and includes shooting modes including “Portrait” which can be used to create shallow depth of field effects. A 5.8-inch Super Retina HD screen is found on the iPhone XS, with other interesting specifications including a new processor, the addition of a slider to control depth of field, and storage capacities up to 512GB. iPhone XS is very expensive mobile. At the time of writing, the iPhone XS can be bought for £999 / $999 for the lowest capacity option (64GB), up to £1,349 / $1,349 for the highest capacity (512GB). Ease to Use In terms of phone design, the iPhone XS is very similar to its predecessor. It retains the controversial “notch” that allows the display to go right to the top edge of the phone, but still accommodate the front facing camera and face detection sensor.
  • 33. You can unlock the iPhone using Face Unlock, or you can enter a passcode if you prefer. As is now standard for iPhones, there’s no fingerprint sensor at all. If all you want to do is use the camera, you can hold down the camera icon on the bottom left of the lock screen to start up the native camera app. That means that the phone is not unlocked, so although you can shoot with it, you’ll only be able to see the images you’ve taken in a current unlock session in playback.
  • 34. As is common for iPhones, the native camera app is relatively simple and straightforward. This can be seen as either a positive or a negative thing depending on your point of view. Along the bottom of the screen (or to the right if holding the phone in landscape orientation), you’ll see the different photo modes that are available to use. The standard mode is Photo, but by swiping to the left you’ll find Video, Sol-Mo and Time-Lapse, while swiping to right gets you to Portrait, Square and Paon (panorama). In the standard Photo mode, the amount of control offered to a photographer is relatively limited. You can tap around the screen to select an autofocus point – when you do that, you’ll notice a small sun icon appears which you can slide up and down to adjust exposure compensation. Along the top of the screen, you can switch flash on and off, turn on and off “Live Photo”, enable the timer (3 seconds or 10 seconds), or add one of several filter options. You can also press and hold on the screen to lock exposure and focus to a particular point. iPhone XS Display I didn’t have the iPhone X with its OLED display and discovering the quality of this display was a revelation. The colors are sharper as well as the brightness even at wider viewing angles, and the contrast is exceptional. But is this really necessary on an iPhone? With an iPad, where you will be seeing a larger display, the more even illumination would be a plus, but it almost seems like overkill on the iPhone considering how much it increases the cost. Face ID Most people upgrade their phones every two or three years, so they skip generations and may only discover important new features after they’ve been around for a year or more. That’s the case with Face ID for me. Since I didn’t get the iPhone X last year, Face ID is a welcome change. It takes a couple of minutes to get used to not having a home button, but once you’ve figured it out it becomes second nature. Speed and Usability
  • 35. Every year, Apple says that the new iPhone is the fastest one ever, and this is, of course, always true because of the progress they make on the devices’ internals. It’s a bit difficult to judge the speed of an iPhone because the operating systems and apps make a lot of demands on the device, and with each new generation of iOS, older models run a bit more slowly. But the iPhone XS and XS Max are as fast as you probably need. With these taller iPhones, you may want to activate the Reachability. When you do this, a short swipe up from the bottom edge brings the content of the display down halfway if you want to reach it with one hand. Camera The dual camera that has been on iPhone Plus models for a couple of years has been improved, notably with some serious software enhancements. What Apple calls Smart HDR allows you to take photos where the lighting varies greatly from dark to light, blending multiple exposures to create more evenly lit photos. iPhone XS max

  • 41. Introduction Last year, I got on Apple ‘s iPhone upgrade program to be able to change my phone every year without having the hassle of selling an old one on eBay. Given that I was spreading the cost out over monthly payments, at 0% interest, I decided to go for the best model: the iPhone XS Max.It was a wonderful phone, but at a high price. And even though I paid for that iPhone monthly, rather than in one lump sum, the payments were still pretty high. So, this year, I opted to go for the iPhone 11, which really is the iPhone for everyone. iPhone 11 is very powerful mobile. The iPhone 11 is sleek and slim, and its glass back means that it is quite grippy most of the time when held with bare hands. But its matte edges are a bit slippery, and, as much as I would love to go caseless with my iPhone, I just can’t take the chance. While I have never broken an iPhone screen, and this iPhone is covered with AppleCare+ as part of the iPhone upgrade program, I just know that once I start using an iPhone without a case, I’ll drop it. • 43. Apple pitches the iPhone 11 as being for those with a more limited budget, but it also targets a younger and more “fun” orientated audience. As such, the iPhone 11 is available in a variety of different brighter colors , as compared to the more staid options available for the iPhone 11 Pro. Unlike the iPhone 11 Pro, the iPhone 11 is only available in one size – 6.1-inches. The iPhone 11 Pro can also be bought in a “Max” variant, with the iPhone 11’s size lying somewhere between the two if you prefer a larger phone but don’t want to splash out on the iPhone 11 Pro Max it could be a good option for that reason too. iPhone 11 has long battery time. That said, the screen of the iPhone 11 is a little different in quality when compared to the iPhone 11 Pro. The iPhone 11 uses an Liquid Retina HD screen, compared to the Pro’s Super Retina XDR display. iPhone 11 has less expensive then iPhone 11 pro. iPhone 11 Specifications Network Technology GSM / CDMA / HSPA / LTE Launch Announced Status 2019, September 10 Available. The resolution is 1,792 x 828 pixels, and, at 6.1-inches diagonally, equates to 326ppi. For comparison, the pro models have 458ppi with their OLED screens. iPhone 11 is very fast mobile. The Liquid Retina HD LCD panel also offers the same True Tone and Wide Color Display (P3) features as its OLED counterparts, but is a bit less bright. The bezel around the outside of the screen is slightly thicker than in the pro models but still qualifies as an edge-to-edge display. How good is the iPhone 11 camera?
  • 47. ● iPhone 11 uses the same wide-angle and super wide-angle lens as iPhone 11 Pro, but no telephoto lens ● Software improvements compared with the iPhone XR include addition of Night mode, plus the ability to use Portrait mode with non-human subjects ● Quality of the two lenses is the same as the more expensive iPhone 11 Pro, but less flexible thanks to the missing lens The iPhone 11 uses a dual-camera setup which is very similar to that found on the iPhone 11 Pro. You’re missing the telephoto (2x) lens, but you still get the standard lens, plus the super wide-angle lens – giving you one more lens than you’d have found on the previous “budget” iPhone, the iPhone XR..
  • 48. Both the iPhone 11’s cameras use a 12-megapixel sensor. Apple doesn’t like to disclose too much specific information about its components, so it’s not entirely clear how physically large each of the sensors are. The two lenses you get to work with are a 26mm f/1.8 (equivalent) standard lens, and the new “0.5x” super wide-angle lens at 13mm f/2.4 (equivalent). Only the standard (1x) lens features optical image stabilization (OIS). What you don’t get is the 52mm telephoto lens – but there’s every chance you’ll find a super wide angle more useful than that anyway.

We’ve recently seen other manufacturers launching 48-megapixel smartphone (the Huawei 30 pro, for example), so something which only offers a quarter of the resolution feels a little lacking. But, fewer pixels should actually be better for low light, while unless you’re planning to print out your images at massive sizes, 12 megapixels should be more than enough (and let’s face it, most people’s photos don’t get any further than Instagram).
