tall. The armspan of the statue is spread 92 ft wide. Due to its massive size, the statue
has often been struck by lightning, which has caused some damage to the statue.
During a storm in 2014, the tip of the statue’s right thumb was damaged. This

First completed in 1942, the Monumento al Divino Salvador del Mundo was restored
and repainted in 2010, after being damaged by the earthquake of 1986.

statue is 133 ft tall.

Solid Rock Church in Monroe, Ohio. This is one of the two largescale statues of

which it stands). The statue’s 60 ft armspan is spread over the Vietnamese city of
