9. Traditional wind engineering is focused on reducing wind acceleration around buildings to reduce
wind loads and to make these areas more comfortable for pedestrians. Applying these lessons in
reverse should allow us to learn how to amplify wind acceleration within an acceptable range in
order to generate electricity. Ideally we should be able to take both sides into consideration and
develop buildings for the flow of both wind and humans.
