STORY LINK

 My poem relates to me because it’s about a soldiers life,
and I will be a soldier in about 6 years, Because after I go to
college I’m going to join the military. Now
EMOTIONAL RESPONSE

 The author creates emotion by
telling the sad stores of the soldier
      when he’s in the army.

 The soldiers life is not for all

 A soldier must be willing to give his
      all
CHARACTERS

 The characters in this poem compare to myself because
they are want I want to e when I graduate college.
POINT OF VIEW
 The point of view of “A Soldier’s Life” is 3rd
person
 The soldiers life, His courage, He is overworked
 The characters perspective is he chose to fight
for our country, in the poem I says where there’s
trouble or the first sign his courage and honor are
unsurpassed; which means his achievements are
excellent compared to others.
CULTURAL
                 CHARACTERISTICS

 Examples from the story that show the
armies culture is: courage, honor, willing to
complete the task that has been giving,
and they’re willing to give it their all when
in battle or training.

 This culture compares to me because I
am willing to give it my all, I’m ready to
complete any task that is given to me.
COMPARE/CONTRAST

 This story could be related to the book thief, because the
NAZIS started killing the Jews, then the Jews fought with the
U.S. Armed Forces to stop this. WWII
