Tracy was employedasProgramCoordinatoratRentonEcumenical Association
of ChurchesfromFebruary2014 until July2015. She came on boardas we began
to establishourselvesasa non-profitandhashelpedusherustowhere we are
an effective,efficientlyfunctioning,andrespectedpartnerandservice provider
inour community.
Tracy is a committedteamplayerwhohasdemonstratedsignificantflexibility
and insight. We are a grass-rootsorganizationinaperiodof dynamic
development. We have movedin the periodTracy has beenwithusfromfiscal
sponsorshipto a stand-alone 501c3. Thishas entailedrapidlychanging
processesandsystems. Tracyhas beenable to veryeffectively accommodate our
changingneedsandmanage all of our stakeholdersasthey engage this
developinglandscape.
We have benefitedparticularlyfromTracy’stechnical writinganddesignskills.
In our firsttwoyearsas a non-profit, she produced annual reportsthat
effectivelytoldourstoryinphotos,graphicsandtext.These reportstogether
withotherbrochures,directmailings,swiftdonoracknowledgments,andother
mediahave receivedmuchpositivefeedbackfromourconstituentsanddonors.
Theyhave contributed significantly toongoingfinancial support,aswell as
volunteerandpartnerengagement.
Tracy beenwillingtodevelopnew skillsandtake onprojectsinwhichshe didnot
have previousexperience. She wrote agrant proposal tothe Cityof Rentonfor
our women’sshelterandwassuccessful insecuring$15,000 overtwoyears
($5,000 more thanthe amountusuallyawardednew applicantslikeourselves).
Tracy has beena trustedandvaluable colleague. This workinvolvesemploying
specializedtechnical skillsinthe service of those whoare inneed –the hungry
and the homeless. Tracyhas broughtcompassionandingenuitytomake areal
difference inthiswork.
