Facility Id in HFR
Each health facility in HFR has a unique primary key or identifier in the form of a
Facility ID (FID), which will be:
- Facility Mapping: Used to map the facility across the health ecosystem
- Facility Identification: Utilized by all other entities to identify the facility, retrieve
and use required facility data.
- Data Sharing: Accessed through consent, and facilities will be able to specify
which details they share with different entities.
- Services at Facility: Updated periodically with specialties, services and facilities
offered along with other attributes.
Process of mapping different roles in the Health Facility Registry
- All officers are required to create a Healthcare Professional ID to access the
Health Facility Registry.
- The State Mission Director role is mapped to the appointed officer’s Healthcare
Professional ID by the HFR team at the national level.
- State Mission Director further identifies the District Nodal Officers and District
Verifiers and maps their respective Healthcare Professional IDs to assigned
roles. The nodal officer and verifier need to be different for the selected district.
- National Nodal Officer and National Verifier roles are primarily for Central Govt.
