3. About Us:
¡ Cycle Leash was the first of the solutions in the Leash It group created by Jorian
Ross and Tony Lotzof in Late 2014
¡ After a Saturday ride when one of our friends bikes were stolen we came up with
a concept for an early warning system to let us know if someone tried to steal
our bikes
¡ As we were developers ambitious and entrepreneurial we set out creating the
software to work with iBeacons. We sourced the best beacons of the planet and
started intensive testing whether we could actually create what we had
envisioned.
¡ After much trial and error we wrote version 1 of the software for my iPhone and
we started testing the capabilities. During our testing phase we started receiving
a lot of interest about the solution and new we had a business.
¡ Once we had launched Cycle Leash a number of different uses were realized
for other markets and with each concept came more and more features. The
entire solution was developed in house and Leash It IP is entirely owned by the
Leash It company.
¡ Leash It is now available on Apple Store and Android play store and has grown
in both user functionality and crowd Geo Fencing worldwide
5. Features now available
¡ Early warning alarm on your mobile should your item be removed
from your designated perimeter area
¡ Mapping of your items location through crowd GPS. Each user of
the Leash It app is constantly looking out for our solutions beacons.
If one comes in the vicinity of the phone it checks the unique ID of
the beacon and verifies against our server whether it is a stolen or
lost.
¡ If it is a stolen item it maps the last known location of where that
device was spotted and our server notifies the owner of that
location, date and time of tracking. The owner can also check the
Mobile apps map page and get a comprehensive layout of
everywhere their item has been spotted worldwide.
¡ The Groups function gives users the ability to setup a group of
friends and family so that you can view where each other are and
send messages between group members about catch-up’s or
group outings or rides.
¡ SOS broadcast facility should you have mechanical issues, get lost
feel in danger or are in an accident, you can send an immediate
SOS message to your group or send a message to the 5 closest
people on the Leash It network with your exact location and your
need for immediate assistance.
