You could be spreading weeds without knowing.
They can be easily spread via clothing, camping gear and
vehicles and can cause significant environmental and economic
damage within Queensland.
There are simple steps you can take to prevent weeds from
spreading into and around Queensland:
• clean your clothing and shoes before leaving natural areas,
camping grounds and properties
• keep to designated roads and tracks
• keep vehicles and camping gear free from dirt and weeds
(both inside and out)
• remove plant material from trailers, boats and propellers
• avoid picking flowers and plants
• learn to identify weeds in the areas you visit.
