Responsibleforthe planning, installation, operation, maintenance and advance troubleshooting of
numeroustactical FrequencyDivision Multiple Access (FDMA) and Time Division Multiple Access
(TDMA) satellite communication terminals. Lead, mentored and trained hundreds of Marines on
both the technical andadministrativeaspectsofsatellite communication operations. This included
the accountability and serviceability of over 26 million dollars in assets. During multiple forward
deployments, served as Team Leader and Staff Non-commissioned Officer in Charge for satellite
platoons supporting tactical satellite communication in Iraq and Afghanistan. This included 5
different areas of operation and 8 different satellite terminals. The different terminals included
AN/TSC-93D, AN/TSC-85D, AN/TSC-156, AN/USC-65 V1 and V2, SWAN V1 and V3, TRC-170 as
well as LXGHAand LAMDA tri-band antennas

Responsibleforthe recruitmentofhighlyqualifiedindividualsforservicein the UnitedStates Marine
Corps. As a recruiter,responsibilitiesincludedcontactingindividualsthroughthe process of making
telephone calls, home visits, and canvasing the local areas. Once contacted, it was recruiter’s
responsibility to ensure the individual was mentallyand physicallyqualified for service. If qualified,
the recruiterwould show the opportunities available to that individual through service in the Marine
Corps. The Station Commander was responsible for the overall success of the station which
consistsof 4-7 recruiters. The Station Commander was responsible for the training and mentoring
of the recruiters, to ensure that the station achieved the required contracting and shipping
requirements for the particular month or year.
