Bria & David
A Journey Marked out before us...
She was attending Agnes Scott College and he
Georgia Tech. Through mutual friends they met
casually to watch a movie on a friends lawn.
Noticing they sat down on the same blanket they
fell easy into conversation. David being naturally
inquisitive, he began to engage in a mountain of
questions which Bria had no problem answering
each one at a mile a minute. They each knew that
their lives had changed for the better in getting to
know each other even though it had only been a
brief encounter.
Both afraid of one another being uninterested they
decided to communicate on a friend level and
continued to travel in the same circles until life took
them on different paths.
They took the time needed to understand their
hearts, mature and grow closer to God.
She was all that I imagined, my life, my
heart, my beginning and my end. Together
and through God’s divine guidance we found
ourselves in one another…

By his grace we met in the middle...
Over the course of several years, other
relationships and the use of modern technology
they managed to find a way to reconnect. Emails
turned into calls and calls turned in visits and
eventually a new job brought David back to
Atlanta.
Slowly David was becoming part of Bria’s heart
again and this time she knew that she shouldn’t let
that feeling go.
After showing clear intention of interest David
finalized the first date complete with a delicious
lunch and a rain filled walk in the Botanical
Gardens. The following week they went out again,
walked through Tanyard Creek Park and talked for
hours about any and everything while resting on
the rocks that seemed to be the perfect seats just
for them.
133 days later on those same rocks David asked
Bria to become his wife, partner and forever love.
“ I see that our journey in life is one big circle, each
of us making up one of the halves in search of the
other in order to make the circle whole.”
