Brief slideshow to highlight my knowledge, skills, and experience as an IDPT professional. While most of the work is in an educational setting, Franklin University has prepared me to join the field as an active practitioner. The two projects highlighted are both done in collaboration with "real world" clients and met industry standards for instructional design and learning technologies.
2. Introduction
Welcome to my online portfolio where you can
get to know me and my work better. Here you will
find some samples of my instructional design
work that I accomplished throughout my studies
in the Masters in Instructional Design and
Learning Technology at Franklin University..

4. Human Performance Technology
2022 4
Key knowledge of human performance improvement to analyze
performance problems. I have demonstrated my ability to apply scholarly
theories to determine the proper interventions and make recommendations
for solutions to achieve the optional impacts for an organization.
The projects focused on key skills to include:
• Determining performance gaps and causal factors
• Measuring the efficiency and effectiveness
• Developing interventions
• Creating evaluation criteria
• Communicating the benefits of the interventions (Communication Plan)
• Establishing a change management plan for implementation
5. Training/Learning Evaluation
2022 5
Key knowledge of theories, models, and principles for evaluating
training and learning. I was able to work with the Ohio Department
of Health using evaluation practices to conduct formative and
summative evaluation of local health department training.
This entailed:
• Clarifying the evaluation request
• Determining how to conduct the evaluation
• Creating all the instruments
• Collecting evaluation data
• Organizing and summarizing the data
• Reporting the findings w/recommendations
6. Project and Relationship Management
2022 6
Key knowledge of theories, models, and principles for project
management. I was able to demonstrate my ability in multiple small
scale design projects including one for Nationwide where I
successfully lead an instructional design team.
Experience in:
• Critical Path Method (CPM)
• Scrum
• Scope of Work
• Project Plan
• ADDIE Instruction Design Process
• After Action Review
• Stakeholder alignment
7. Learning Technologies
2022 7
Key knowledge of learning technologies to create effective training
and instruction. I have had the opportunity to design and develop
pedagogically sound instructional environment and instructional
products. Much of the work has been theoretical however it did
account for culture and diversity present in the public sector post
pandemic.
Activities included:
• Develop eLearning unit of instruction
• Creating visualizations
• provide a recommendation for a new sales training plan
• Interfacing between course and LMS
