DONG Energy praises Maersk Resolve and its crew for “great teamwork and a strong culture with
regards to performance and safety” – the Hejre campaign is more than two months ahead of
schedule.
Jack-up rig Maersk Resolve has helped its customer, DONG Energy, to bring down total well costs
significantly on the Hejre Campaign in the Danish North Sea sector.
That is the message in a letter from DONG Energy to "everyone on Maersk Resolve".
"A testament to a great teamwork and a strong culture with regards to performance and safety", the
letter states.
Maersk Resolve has just drilled and completed the HA-4 well on the Hejre Campaign. It is the fifth
longest/deepest HPHT (High Pressure, High Temperature) well in the world (measured in the
Rushmore Index) drilled from a jack-up rig.
"This is truly a significant milestone and it is a result of yet another extraordinary performance from
the Maersk Resolve. Its crew has helped us to cut down total well costs significantly"
says Peter V. Balslev, Hejre Well Delivery Manager, DONG Energy.
