Registration Volunteer at Slush 2013-2014
Thomas was a part of the Registration Team, and was in charge of operating
services at the Slush conference, including:
• Successfully registering visitors to the event (inc. translator tasks)
• Top-level customer service, which scored 4,5/5,0 in the feedback (2014)
• Additional tasks and duties, which were performed in a reliable manner
I was really impressed on how independently the work was carried out and how
self-initiative, flexibility and dependability was shown throughout the event as
well as an attitude to work in a hectic, international environment. I would be more
than happy to recommend Thomas to new positions with increased responsibility.
Slush is the focal point for European startups and tech talent to meet with top-tier international companies,
investors and media. The two-day event takes place every fall in Helsinki amidst one of the most dynamic
tech ecosystems in the world. Slush 2014 was the biggest technical production ever in Finland gathering
over 14 000 attendees from 79 countries.
