Recommendation:
Continue to develop existing relationship with internal
RMIT staff, especially face-to-face interactions.
The implementation:
Increase meetings face to interactions the RMIT communications
team
(conduct focus groups, attendance at departmental meetings, and
solicitations of opinions of existing staffs)

“Face-to-face communication is still king” (Caroline 2012)
No matter what channel of communication is used to deliver information to
student or staff, face to face interaction is still a crucial aspects of internal
communication for organizations.
Recommendation:
Segment the existing internal staff into professional and academic
segmentations.
The implementation:
Implementing segmentation at RMIT internal staff and
internal newsletter audience can be done through sitting
with each head of center for the different functions at RMIT.
