6. Scene 1: Airport Terminal
● Enter: mod-inspired, glass facade building with Atomic Age inspired designs
● Greeted with retro departure/arrival screen of various flights and airlines
● Main lobby of airport holds a very large interactive globe which the guests can walk around to continue to the
“Check-In” desk to receive tickets.
● Moving travel posters line walls, “window” screen shows guests to airplanes landing and taking off.
● Guests make their way through security where they can check their bags.
● Attendants check guests at gates to facilitate traffic.
● Guests make their way down a short bridge to enter ride.
Scene 2: Airplane Cabin
● Guests enter corrals to get into triple set cars-ride corrals turn in to create false wall of a plane cabin as the
guests enter cars.
● Cars are triple seats guided by above track with landing gear in vehicle.
● As guests settle, a video from the Pilot will play on screen of the vehicle in front of them, reciting safety
instructions and precautions.
● Flight attendants check seat belts of guests as they prepare for “lift-off.”

7. Scene 3: “Lift Off”
● Runway lights up to simulate taxiing plane
● Cars begin track, gaining speed as it pulls up, travelling through cloud props and fog.
● Que takeoff sound and breeze effect.
Scene 4: “Smooth Sailing”
● Car/track slows pace as environment imitates dusk, gaining daylight lighting quickly to mimic progression of time.
● Cars “fly” over aerial views of towns, cities, and landscapes as they decrease in size from tall to small.
● Little movement/ease-besides moving forward-in car
Scene 5: Storm + Turbulence
● Pilot comes on intercom to warn passengers of storm
● Cloud props darken as well as light.
● Pace increases as guests enter storm.
● Dark cloud props, extreme lighting, precipitation, wind, loud noises
● Fast and sudden movements around environmental elements (i.e. mountains)

8. Scene 6: Port of Tokyo
Storm clears
Buildings gradually become larger
Rising sun
Scene 7: Landing
● Speed slows suddenly
● Landing gear comes out of vehicle.
● Car goes through the glass room
● Cloud props lighten in color
● Car exits building, making a large gentle loop back into the building through glass hallway.
Scene 8: Exit
● Car returns to cabin
● Corrales open and guests unload cars.
● Guests exit through airport through balcony to glass hallway to downstairs where they can see the cars above
them “descending.”
