COMMUNICATION SKILLS
My performance experience in the theatre, television (mainly played victims) and nightclubs
(standup comedy at The Improv on Melrose) make me incredibly comfortable in front of an
audience, which would translate well in a retail setting. Plus I’m good at calming stressed out
folks from years of dealing with personal injury, dissolution and acting clients at various law
offices during my 20+ years as a legal secretary.
Interviewing people for travel stories for the LA Times, Chicago Tribune, etc. has taken my
listening skills to the next level.
COMPUTER SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
I like figuring things out so I’m self-taught in solving both PC and some Apple computer issues.
Often a hard boot does wonders. I was totally a PC person from IBM/Lenovo to Dells until the
iPhone wooed me to Macs, and I’m still using my 2008 MacBook Pro. And I did need One to
One sessions (great program) to transition because the organization is different on PCs vs.
Macs. Apple streamlines organization but as someone who used to solve DOS computer
issues at home and in law offices, there is an adjustment when moving from PCs to Apple. I
would love to help other people transition.
Software expertise: Word (from ’97-2010 versions for both PC & Mac), WordPerfect (4.1 Dos
through WP 2012), various levels of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Quicken (PC, Mac &
iOS) and Pages (Mac & iOS).

cookware and marketing myself as both an actress and a comic.
