Generally,we likeinthe course the factsthat itwas basedon case studyanalysis.Thankstothisthe
classeswere interestingaswe couldpointoutour findings.Moreover,thankstoworkingroups,we
coulddiscuss individual pointof viewsandworkactivelyinthe taskgivenbyprofessor.Anaddedvalue
for uswas a fact that we couldlearnby practice and fromeach otheras examplesfromownexperience
manytimeswere givenbythe teammembers.Thankstothe fact that all the studentsworkindifferent
companies,departmentsandindustrieshave causedthatourdiscussionsandanalysiswere challenging
and fruitful atthe same time.Peoplewithinthe groupare withvariouseducational backgroundand
experience soeachpersoncouldfocusondifferentaspectof the case study,providinganexcellentpoint
of discussionforotherteammembers.The worksheetwasveryhelpful inworkingonthe case so the
requirementswere fullydefined.Moreover,the materialswereverygoodpreparedandpresented.In
our opinionthe onlythingthatcouldcreate an addedvalue tothe course couldbe a use of individual
case studiesof the studentstofindoutwhetherthere are anydifferentorganizations(close tous) that
couldapplyforthe Excellence Program.Ingeneral,the course wasagreat lessonof tighteningthe
teamwork,inspiringdiscussionandgaininganew knowledgeatthe same time.
Reviewof the course
The course helpedustounderstandhow realizationof company’sstrategic goalsislinkedwithits
operationsmanagement.There mustbe strongastrong alignmentbetweenstrategyandoperations.
Such elementsasinfrastructure,production,marketingstrategy,inventorymanagement,supplychain,
HR, financial managementetc.mustbe inalignmentwithcompany’sstrategicobjectives.Forthat
reasonoperationsactivitiesshouldbe regularlymeasuredandcontrolled.Itisimportanttochoose and
calculate the effective measuresandmetricsthatcan show where acompanyis incomparisontowhere

isthe onlyrecommendationthatwe couldgive forthe future course.
