High Productivity engraving technology. In addition to maintaining the
positioning accuracy & repeatability to attain high quality marking, the
iQ+ concept provides noticeable improvements in the following:
• Off-load feed rate (travel speed during cutter up) up to 5.9 in/s
• Tool Up/Down spindle (feed rate along the Z axis) up to 3.9 in/s

The XP line offers extra productivity from a leading laser platform. It

CO2
is not the only laser type manufactured by Gravotech. Fiber,
YAG and Green are the preferred choice for delicate, sensitive &
uncoated materials.
Fiber - Utilizing fiber optics to stimulate the laser, this long lasting
laser source has a lower maintenance cost over the life of the machine.
Higher than average power allows text & graphics to be applied faster.
YAG - Similar to the fiber in design, the YAG uses pumping diodes to
stimulate the laser. This allows a smaller beam width which will attain
greater detail & smaller characters. Not sensitive to reflected light, the
YAG laser is great for marking shiny or polished materials.
Green - Half the wavelength of a YAG laser, the Green laser features
a new type of marking,“cold marking”. Minimal heat is applied to the
material which reduces the mechanical stress & distortion to parts.

Dot-peen and scribing are marking techniques used by the
Technifor machines for traceability. Dot-peen leaves a series of
dots while scribing is a continous carved mark. A wide selection
of these machines are available with either pneumatic or
electomagnetic marking options.
